Edit: Can you add a poll please?

Technically they animated the hell chapter with some fillers, so I guess it's better than the average filler. End was funny as always^^

I didn't have any hope after last week's filler episode, but this one was actually pretty good. The animation was unusually good, the fights looked cool and it served as an introduction for the movie. I would have preffered if this episode would have been made into an OVA.

"No, this can't be! I killed you!
Yeah, well, we are in hell, where was I supposed to go? Detroit?"

I liked how they took the special chapter and rewrote it somewhat. So, like, which came first, this episode and Kubo expanded upon it? Or the chapter and the anime team made it more succinct?

Either way, pretty good episode in terms of animation. I like how Ichigo wasn't in the entire episode, though. You'd think he would've detected something. :notrust

Ah well, 3 chapters again next week. :3 It's gonna be cool.

I mostly liked the episode. Animation was at a good level. It was really good to see the animation version of Hell and its creatures, though I didn't like how they showed Renji and Rukia. I knew that they were weak, but not that much. Renji needed Bankai to keep up with that shitty Sinner who was even weak when he was hollow. And they couldn't even kill him in two vs one fight and they were also on their max power...
But anyway, mostly episode was good. It's also interesting to know why Yama doesn't want Ichigo to participate. Does he know that he can be used to open the gates of Hell? Or may be it's his pride? Or maybe Ichigo is somewhat special and he doesn't want him to die like he didn't want him to be involved like when he tried to use his insane tecnique to burn Aizen and every enemy and friends on the battlefield.

Interesting ep...the part with Shrieker was ok, good animation but odd how Renji just showed up. Too much deos ex machina. I'm guessing that the reason Yamamoto didn't want Ichigo involved is either because he knows that he has the power to open the gates of Hell, or because if Ichigo hollowfies in Hell, he'll lose control (according to the previews). The last part was pretty cool to see animated, and i'm guessing that they did that off Kubo's one-shot, but they messed up some of the details. Like how they could send a Sinner to the real world if the gates couldn't open. Kubo's version was just better. Unless Kubo worked on this personally, they are overstepping a bit too much with the filler.

I get the impression it is hybrids that have the power to open the gates of hell, hence why arroniero and grants did not have the power for that. In turn hollow ichigo seems to be dramatically more powerful than any of the espada so perhaps he does have what it takes. Yamamoto would seem to be aware of something of the sort hence why ichigo is not to be involved.

when the hell is the hell arc supposed to be set? between ichigo running his arse around hm and fkt or after he loses his powers?

those villains look so bland and boring and what was up with shrieker not wanting to show whats underneath his coat? i was expecting an explanation but now he is dead. lame. cool ep though.

From the filler episode, I expect that the Hell arc is meant to be before Ichigo uses FGT, or after he regains his powers and is re-instated as substitute shinigami. Yama talks about "substitute shinigami Kurosaki Ichigo," and there's no mention of FGT or whether or not he even has power. Why would Ichigo be brought up if wouldn't be seen as a legitimate member of the fore-guard?

Does anyone know where I can find a download for the latest intro song? It's one of the best that Bleach has had throughout the entire anime.
