This might just be me, but this ability makes me wonder if this is how mimes fight.

It seriously has nothing to do with Pokemon. The concept of a mimes abilities do exist outside of Pokemon. How the hell you guys got Pokemon when it wasn't even mentioned is beyond me. No Mr. Mime or Mime Jr. here. I just found it funny that it often involves invisible coating or maybe even walls and that mimes have something similar, even though they can't really do that.

If you saw some kind of mimes fighting in One Piece, you should link us the page otherwise we won't understand what's on your mind ;)
Please refresh our memories 'cause right now, i don't remember a thing about a mime in the manga !

Think about it this way. In what forms have we seen the Haki color of armament take so far? Invisible coating, walls, etc.? I'm just saying it's like the invisible structures mimes act as if to create, but in a silly way.

Invisible coating? How does that sound like a mime? I don't recall ever seeing a mime pretend to punch something with a pretend coated fist. Or shoot an arrow with imaginary explosives attached. Or hunker down and imagine absorbing a powerful attack. Or damage a usually intangible object.

Basically all you have is the one time the admirals created a wall of haki.

It's not a theory, it's a joke. I'm not looking for ideals to reinforce the idea, but to point out the similarities of unseen figures for something called humor.

EDIT: As such, moved to the One Piece Playground because it seems to fit better here.

And I'm saying it fails as a joke due to the extremely weak connections.

There's a connection between Mimes and Haki??
This is a joke?? Like laughing with or laughing at???

I comprehend but cannot understand..

Since Except for Caribou's crew, and Lafitte I can't remember anything resembling a Mime in One Piece...
