The only bad thing (besides the grandfather who didn't use his Byakugan at all to save Hinata), was the fact that the animators was confused by Stone/Earth and Cloud ninja.
Those ennemies are supposed to be Cloud ninja because of the relationship with the Hyuuga but they wore earth ninja clothes and did only earth jutsu. Well I wouldn't mind that a cloud ninja can do that, but this + the outfit it's kinda embarassing. :p

Anyway it was worth watching. Clever moves in battle. Kiba's face+Byakugan = nice combo :D

For a filler episode, it was pretty enjoyable. It was nice not having a Naruto-centered episode again. The combination of Neji, Tenten, Kiba, and Akamaru as a unit seems interesting. I think my favorite parts were Hiashi chikara palming the enemy from a distance and Kiba with Byakugan eyes (it gave us a view of how the Byakugan would look in other people's eyes besides Hyuugas).

Unlikely. What would that title hint? Whats next in cannon is the flying Sakura. And we would need new OP/ED, we have no hints of such for now. Id say the fillers would go at least till 198.

We wouldn't need a new OP, the current OP is already perfectly illustrating descent into darkness. It's a very symbolic OP.

As for the material, I agree that the title doesn't match the next canon material, so the filler's end is unlikely. But honestly if the fillers continue in this direction I'm fine with fillers for a few more months. I find these part 1 fillers highly enjoyable, this is what the fillers should have been like between part I and II. I'm just enjoying hearing the old OST again, which is a big part of what gave Naruto that "magic touch" back in the day, aswell relax in part 1's world. I mean, seriously, these fillers have had more enjoyable episodes that the whole Pain Invasion, so I'm not complaining.

this episode was better than the normally episodes from the fillers but we can never give to much importance to the fillers as we do to the real history cuz one think dissapointed me that was seeing in the end of the fight them tooking some much time to return to the village to protect it from the sand village and also Orochimaru ...........

the fillers even when they give good info they are always so stupid at some points and ruin everything
