Episode 198 - A bit slow, but still very good. Also, I think they forgot to put the ring on Zetsu's finger. So... >_>

Next episode doesn't look as good animation wise, but still is gonna be great since it shows all the Kage. ^_^

I dont know if you guys noticed but they made the mizukage's hair UGLYY!!!! i noticed it right away. in the manga it was smooth and curvy.....i dont like the rough edges and stuff she looks different.

He was just letting sasuke know that he is not some random dude.

You need to wait the official episode. If you see the preview of 197-198 you will see that they have fixed some things, such as the sharingan on Tobi.

loved this episodes , after somany time finally Naruto anime is back :tem and better than ever, but maybe thats because the longgggg filler lol. but only have to say that enjoyed alot these 2 episodes , were great and what for me makes naruto the best is cuz naruto charcater is not only a fighter , we always see his emotional side , his concerns and his decisions and seeing naruto being beaten cuz of sasuke make me think that naruto is "stupid" for still being protecting sasuke , but he is unique , he is a very rare type of person due to his childhood and that makes me love him much more and trust in his decisions

ehh...i didn't know about the sharingan thing but the majority of the time when people complain about screwing things up in the preview, it carries on to the official episode. I highly doubt they are going to change it and ill bet you they wont xD.

remember how awful amaterasu looked when it was first shown. well it was awful in the episode too. or when they screwed up sasukes model. or when pain pulls out that weird rod and it looked retarded and people were like....it's going to be changed in the official ep. well it didn't. and i bet this won't either because all of her scenes showed she looked fat (or not long enough face, her face is too round) and her hair is edgy and not smooth.

I'm talking about Naruto saying that someone in Konoha would revenge for Sasuke's death which is false, no one really cares about Sasuke besides Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi. All the waiting was surely worth it. Ep. 197 was nicely directed, almost perfect from drawing to musical score. Just the fighting animation was lackluster.
198 wasn't as good overall, but I almost shed a tear at the end. Guess it can't be helped, I cry everytime Yondaime shows up or is mentioned. He's just too awesome :amuse

That's the only fair thing to say against my point, and yet.

But besides this Naruto hold himself against Pain when this guy destroyed the whole village and killed Jiraya. So, even more when he is the "destined child" and his dad said he believes in him, he won't chase the cloud ninja for that...He would deny everything he said during the Pain arc.
Maybe he would avenge Sasuke against a bad guy like Madara, but definitively not the cloud ninjas.

I liked this episode a lot...finally we are back to manga plot...one of the best arcs is ahead...Kages FTW...

Although since Raikage and Kumo appeared I'm a bit disappointed in the voice acting of Kumo shinobi...except Samui maybe...the voice matches her character

Geez... he has grown sooo much from that stubborn punching bag that just screams stuff and gets angry and just charges. He is now a great fighter! Damn the frogs taught him so much... he is so strong now.

She was kicked by Omoi. And it was done way better in the manga, as I said. The anime team spared Sakura here.
