i had a roomie before in cebu, she had this medical condition where she passes out from severe pain (on her case, it was dysmenorrhea that was causing it).
several times i had to clean her up when its her day of the month, because she would urinate and excrete when she's about to pass out.
once she wakes up, she would have fresh undies, bra and PJs on her. she would almost always blush knowing i took care of her when she was out.
eventually, my ex knew about it, wanted me to move out. but i can't just leave her like that, not without someone looking out for her.
and yes, she was a cute 5'1 morena. man.. those were hard times..

GoT is just another bandwagon I'm not getting into :D. Although it seems much much MUCH better than the other bandwagons I didn't touch with a thirty foot pole (i.e. Harry Potter, Twilight, and Glee season 2 onwards), I just don't dig the medieval politicky thingy. Tudorsy-backstabiness is not my type.

On another note, I'm surprised that "Wilfred" (i.e. that show with a guy in a dog suit) has an 8.1 IMDB rating. There can be great humor in it, but it's too cynical. If you don't appreciate cynical humor, it's one boring mess.

Then we also have that show about a show called "Smash" that I don't know how anyone could've thought was a bright idea. A series about artists making a new production about the life of Marilyn Monroe just sounds like the gay writer's idea of a circle jerk.

Among the new series, I like Suits (USA Network is hitting the jackpot with these low-budget weird shows like Psych, White Collar and now Suits), and I also liked the first episode of Touch. Have yet to see the rest of those.

If I were to describe Suits in terms of other shows, it's like White Collar plus Shark. In a Mad Men-ish setting.

One lead is a Harvard Law dropout with superhuman photographic memory who uses it to cheat his way out of everything. Including posing as a Harvard Law graduate and getting paid to make other people pass the LSATs. The other lead is a law shark, a do-whatever-it-takes guy who hires the other lead as some sort of protege, knowing his background, into his firm. The episodes revolve around them tackling high profile cases while avoiding getting caught in their lie.

just finished making the bakasyonistas watch The Princess Bride. And yesterday I brought them to some places they've never been before - the mall. You see they both grew up and live in a stupidly sleepy town where nothing much out of the ordinary happens. And they were awed by the heights of the condos in Eastwood. So when we stopped by a couple of malls on the way home they felt nothing can surpass that which they had seen. Even compared the denizens of the local mall (the 'tambays') to those in Eastwood (just chillin')

Me, patulog na dapat ako, then I found out on facebook that an acquaintance of mine (High school mate, went drinking with just a year or so back), was shot, mortally wounded and died- like, a month ago- and I only found out because I saw a pic on FB "Justice for xx" and I'm like, what? Thought it was a joke, went to his FB page and read all the posts about him dead and stuff, searched on google to read any news about the incident. Tangna. He was 24 years old, shot for no reason, by young people who could afford a gun and car and drink in a non-too-shabby joint. I'm guessing, rich kids who were high. :/

why not try to keep a low profile this time. if di talaga maiwasan, maybe these tips can help:
1. eat right (not less, not too much) before the session
2. if you're having beer, try to exhale through your mouth after ever gulp (this works for me all the time)
3. if you're having hard drinks, don't prolong the alcohol in your mouth, try to swallow it immediately
4. always think that it's your last bottle, that way mapipilitan kang tipirin while having fun

and btw, you probably drink like an ilonggo. based sa experience ko sa mga bisaya, ambabagal uminom. they prefer chatting while passing around the drink rather than having a bottle for each one.

Being that I'm quite guilty about something, I thought I should share it with you guys.

There's this security guard in our apartment building who turns the elevator off at night. And since I always come home at night (not drinking or otherwise- my shift ends 11 pm), I always end up taking the goddamn stairs to the fourth floor after I'm tired from work. I always thought- just something crazy and random- what if I'd spit on him since he sleeps under the stairs- and while I go up the stairs I spit on him...

matagal ko na syang ni-nurture na thought- but always thought better not to do it.

e last night medyo tipsy ako... and when I looked he had a cap on- so i thought if I spat on him he wouldn't feel it because he had a cap on.

So I let go... and I climbed the steps to the third floor, and looked down to see what happened, and was surprised to see him looking up at me!!!!!!!!

I worked four hours CHARITY TIME yesterday. I was getting sick of being always behind on everything- sasabak sa labanan na walang kagamitan. I just... I wanted a clean start= and today my goal at work is: to finally take my dinner break.

If the bosses ever saw my meal card they would see that in a whole month, I only take breaks about once a week.

Sigh. We are so understaffed.

and not only that, we have no equipment- we bring our own tools from our own pockets- we always run out of ingredients and we are the ones being pressured by the bosses to put up something, insisting on quality and shit, when the ingredients are all "magic"- made the shortcut way, cutting corners, just to keep up with all the work needed to be done and stretching ingredients.
