From takL (He translates Naruto Spoilers very often at NF):
Tokyo did shake but not as hard as north areas of the pacific coast like miyagi, sendai fukushima, from where reportedly more than 1k are dead. Up to now around 5 deaths in tokyo have been confirmed and i dont see mangakas being included.

Here I found a list of the mangakas and seiyuu that are safe after the earthquake, Hoshino isn't in the list, but that doesn't mean anything yet. Anyway let's pray all for japanese people not only for those who're mangakas !

I agree with you, sorgiva. We should pray for all japanese people that are suffering now due to this earthquake. (I also hope she and the others are safe).
This new has shaken me specially because 11th March is also a dramatic date for Spain and two of my friends have japanese friends. God's thanks, they're safe, and also a couple of photographers (a spanish girl and a japanese boy) I use to follow (they were in Kyoto and there they hardly feel anything).
