From the katakana, the name of Jackie's Fullbring is "Dirty Boots". Looks like her shoes turn into some black cool boots. Kinda reminiscent of Lenalee's Dark Boots (from D.Gray-Man). Plus this Fullbring adds some extra pieces of clothes (or armor?). Reminds me also of a new version of Yoruichi.

If you have ever worked on a manga or comic of any sort, you would know the answer to this qeustion. When characters carry on dialogue, the absolute worst thing you can do is draw every panel from the exact same angle.

He may not be the best story writer, but the idea of insulting kubo as an artist is laughable.

Now for my views about the fullbringer arc and this chapter so far. It seems that the only way I can enjoy this arc is if i pretend this is the first arc of Bleach. Its far more intersting and suspensful that way. It seems like Ichigo is going to run the gamut and train with everyone to master his fullbringer powers while kubo better introduces each character.

Beyond that, there really isn't much going on. Kubo hinting at Urahara doing shady things isn't all that intersting unless it involves ichigo's shinigami sister in some regard. And ichigo's dad "missing" is par for the course.

Orihime getting stabbed by that sword and being amicable to the new "bad guy" is nothing new. Remember the many many times Kubo hinted at Orihime "switching sides" during the arrancar arc (srsly, i can think of 20 off the top of my head) and nothing came from that.

Like I said before, this would be great if it was the first or second volume of Bleach, However the fact that we are 442 chapters into this story with very little resolved is and will contintue to be my biggest gripe with bleach.

Ummm i totally disagree fella. I mean we learned that Ichigo can get his powers back, the existence of the full bringers, something is up with Isshin and Kisuke and that Ichigo is being targeted by Tsukishima etc...The training isn't happening in a vacuum, other events are taking place concurrently.

Anyway Jackie's ability looks cool. I hope Ichigo's fullbring continues to improve. This battle should be a nice one. Looking forward to the chaoter

This is probably the most redeeming thing about this arc. In prior training arcs, it felt like the world stopped for ichigo to train.

1. Training with Kisuke he had ample time to finish his training before going to SS
2. Training with Yourichi other things were going on, but nothing that affected his main goal of saving rukia
3. Training with Vizards was pretty much the most secluded trai-
4. Training with Zangetsu in dangai... yeah, tru vacuum. Stuff was going on with azien ofc, but only 2 hours of him walking around..

Its nice to see this time around there is a FAR greater sense of urgency in his training. Ishida and orihime have already been attacked, and he is out of the loop. In the last arc, his friends were being harassed by aizen, but I never really felt azien would kill them (SS arc aizen was a far more frieghtning foe than arrancar arc aizen)

This is how training arcs should be. Show the consequences of the hero NOT having the power to stop the villans, dont just hype the villians and then have the hero come in and own him.

While i agree with everything in your post, i want to talk about the bold part.

Ichigo's resolve is growing now, yes, but as far as we are in the manga, ichigo's resolve should be steel by now.

At least (thankfully), when we saw ichigo vs the teddy bear, he actually looked like he knew waht he was doing on some level. That alone (pre-established character growth) makes this arc much better.

At least (thankfully), when we saw ichigo vs the teddy bear, he actually looked like he knew waht he was doing on some level. That alone (pre-established character growth) makes this arc much better.

I actually hope that after seeing that someone wanted to kill Ishida, then someone attacked Inoue and something is also going fishy between his father and Urahara his resolve gowed rather impresivly. Also he knows that his sister is somehow involved with Urahara now and he always tries to protect his little sisters. Also he understands that his friends and his father wouldn't want to involve him in any way, cause he doesn't have any powers now (at least they think he doesn't have), so he wants to get his powers back pretty badly and that's why his resolve will help him to get his powers back quickly.
I also think he won't complain about how the training is going and will concentrate on it to get to his goal.:)

sidenote: for one thing its really lame to be seeing ppl's abilities in a training session (as opposed to a fight) no matter how cool the ability may be...what this indicates to me is how quickly all of these characters will become canon fodder (short of Ginjou and Tsukishima)

This is what i'm pretty much saying. The barrage of new questions and new problems that dont relate to old unanswered questions and unfinished problems its what makes this feel slow to you and me. This would be fine if this was chapter 42, not chapter 442.

The fullbringer arc feels like a bleach restart, and the arrancar arc didn't answer all really end with any closure whatsoever.'

So until we have some closure on things from the past, or we have a less sporadic plotline, this will feel slow. Not because bleach is actually moving slow, no. Its because you (the reader) doesn't really care about what's going on. And I think that is the problem.

Since the beginning of The Lost Substitute Shinigami arc, Ichigo is getting the feeling that he is being excluded by his friends and his family. This is correct in one way, being that they are trying to prevent Ichigo from danger now that he has lost his power. Ichigo on the contrary knows that danger is lurking once again. Ichigo hasn't forgotten that Ishida has been ambushed. This all could only mean one thing: Ichigo will go through fire to regain his powers. And once he regains them, I think Bleach will be getting a real ''climax'' after all.

Jackies Fullbring is pretty cool. Definitely my favorite so far. Thats about all there is to talk about though.......except for the fact that it seems like Shishigawara knows Ginjou too, since Tsukishima asked him what he thought Ginjou would say if they directly messed with Ichigo.

Haha why did Spike to be right. First half only deserved a sigh..., second half got more talk but nearly no new info. So Tsukishima either used "Inception" on her [how original!], to let her think that he's an old acquaintance or he actually is one. And quiet a lot of wasted paper as well this week. :) I don't need to see her vanishing to know that she vanished, he should have just showed her attack him instead, would be more instantly. Another thing... did Kubo realize how ugly she looks, that he decided to hide her face. XD Thick lips don't her a afro-american.

I think the fullbring evolving hint that kubo put in the previous chapter occurred when ichigo dodged jackie's attack, ichigo even pointed out that he didn't know that he could dodge something like that, i think it may have been him unconsciously fullbringing the ground to speed up like ginjou said at one point.

I had hopes to see more soul king, more royal guard, the story of Isshin, the story of Kenpachi, the loose ends of arrancar arc, etc.

Compared to that, this arc is, again, boring.

Seemingly a rivalry between the two Fullbring sides exist and Ichigo and his friends have something to do with it. Only just got around to reading this and...um, I'm glad that my vibe about Jackie last chapter was right and she's some kinda biker chick. I guess. Yawn. And, people, how does she look like a man? hhmm well its very true that it makes it hard to want to keep up with the current plot with other past events on the mind but i can also understand that perhaps Kubo is trying to make the fans understand that the key word was always SUBSTITUTE....in other words IChigo was never supposed to keep those powers from the start

at this point maybe maybe Kubo is trying to make him a lil more unique or put him in a different group from the shinigami completely so he can have more unique abilities...

or maybe this is a lame way of powering him down since he became too godly lol

i could see this as a good way to antagonize Ichigo in G13's eyes again making it even more dangerous for him and his friends now if he has to deal with the Gotei 13 as well....it would sort of put him back in a situation like the earliest chapters of Bleach and this would be sort of exciting...this scenario kind of seems inevitable since the Laws of SS seem to clash with anyone with powers who isnt a registered shinigami

things could turn really bad for Ichigo were he to master fullbring, master his hollow all over and master his shinigami abilities...that would probably make him a target....to ppl higher up than the G13....essentially putting Ichigo in Aizen's shoes

of course its Mr. Kubo and i'm probably just hoping for too much lol

The reason why tite kubo made a ugly woman was because he was getting tired of all the hot-big boobed chicks :D and he could not make a pretty one, whitout big boobs, 'cause that must only be Rukia, so he just decided to do a ugly one.. she looks like the female version of Ginjou.

Im starting to miss the Shinigamis.. i think tite kubo simply created all these boring fullbring-freaks, so he could make a arc with them, and then the bleach-readers will start to miss the shinigamis so much that everyone will think its totally epic when the shinigamis makes their return in the series.. very smart of you tite kubo.. but could you please hurry a little, bleach is quite boring right now.. (and im a big bleach fan, who usally never says anything bad about bleach.. buuuuut..)

I can't actually say that I liked the chapter, but still it wasn't bad.:)
It was rather interesting to see new Fullbring and also to see Ichigo developing his Fullbring abilities when he dodged Jsckie's kick.
I actually see the only problem that Kubo had with the chapter was him jumping from one group to another and actually not showing practically anything really important. I actually believe that it would deffinetly benefit to the plot to see two or three chapters with just Ichigo training to see the actuial development of Ichigo's Fullbring and to see more about Jackie's and others Fullbrings.
Even though I like how the pace is in Bleach for now, cause there are also other mangas to read.:) So I can just watch Kubo's drawings and not think about anything aside from the good drawings.:)

P.S. It would be actually interesting to learn if Tsukishima changed Orihime's memory or did she really know him at some poin.:)

agreed. this chapter was like a parody of shounen in that she didn't reveal what her ability does and didn't like the whole staredown thing. shounen has always had people reveal their ability in battle which is totally unrealistic of a actual battle and of course the staredown for dramatic effect.

The more i see of it the more i get used to it. So eventualy it will sink in.

As far as plot goes not that much development apart from the targetting of Ichigo thats made clear now ^^. Never the less it didnt bug me to see the plot didnt go much further yet!

I think kubo's plan it to build things up slowly and give us little bits of info until he's ready to create a chapter full of revelations.

I think what orihime said is extremely important, maybe it has something to do with how rebirth works in bleach.

There are only 3 options realy,

-He rewrites/implants *fake* memories and thus manipulates the heart > she was stabbed in the heart.

-Altering the heart itself, making people your enemies your friends/friends your enemy thus she thinks she knows him from the past or w/e.

-Last but not least he can warp the past/ shift dimensions. The whole multiuniverse idea. And actualy be a friend in a past and connecting that past to this future :D Perhaps a bit complex but compare it to Byakuran from KHR.

Luv your post man real nostalgic i wouldn't mind seein Aizen again too but i get the feeling it'll be a while before we see KS in action again. Its just not the right time for him to return i figure once Kubo starts to introduce the royal guard and whole soul king thing back into the story thats when we'll get a glimpse of old Souske. Until then my friend it is the Fullbringers rule in bleach.

hmm. if shinigami or arrancars had the abilities of fullbringers they would be called haxx(well there was shunsui's. his power is the closest to the fullbringer's powers's i've seen).
but i can't wait until fullbringers fight a strong shinigami or arrancar and their abilities don't work because of their reitsu not being strong enough(like soi fon's shikai not working on aizen..or was that an illusion..those chapters still have me confused).

Lol they seem to be Japanese so thats understandable. Anyway just read the chapter. Slow pace but pretty good. Jackie's ability was pretty well drawn and Ichigo seems to still have those fantastic reflexes. Tsukishima is now turning his attention to Ichigo so things should be getting more interesting. His ability seems very unique and formidable, cant wait to see what it really is.

The pacing was the same as ever, yet the extra wait wasn't good for my patience. Meh, it could've had more content, like ending with the, eh, "Tsukishima's not-underling" preparing everything he needs to take out Ichigo.

Three things about the chapter though:
1- That whole part about Jackie making fun of Ichigo's basic battle weaknesses: (http://mangastream.com/read/bleach/37131493/6 He does it like every time) was funny.
2- Good thing that Tsukishima is not a serious guy. Aizen wasn't serious but no one dared to make a scene in his presence. Okay, Ichigo did, twice.
3- Chad won't be fighting yet. :(

I think ginjou's group is bad. I think they are revving ichigo up in order to take his unique hybrid soul powers. I think ginjou twisted the truth and that he is the one who killed the shinigami rep and then took his badge. tsukishima is the good guy ( the rich guy ginjou mentioned earlier; I think the hideout belonged to tsukishima) I believe tsukishima went against their goals and ginjou led a rebellion against him.

I was just thinking, If inoue's ability is what Aizen said it was why couldnt she reject the reality that his shinigami powers are gone? I know itd be too easy to do that and wouldnt add to the story. Maybe shes still too weak to do such a thing yet cos it takes her a while to heal raitsu. I knew that transformation wasnt going to happen this chapter because its happened before where you get pumped about something and its not till 2-3 chapters later. But I'm liking the build up so far, its actually making me want to know more and im getting more excited about it. I think we have to thing along the lines of tsukashima ability for jackie. The logical thing would be that it increases her speed and attack power, but i was thinking maybe it has to do with water, why would they be put in the partly filled fishtank? Her ability might be complimented by the water imo.

Her abilities might just require her boots to be dirty . Having a muddy arena allows for her to use her ability indiscriminately

I like how we get to see orihimes opinions of tsukishima mainly because she says something really interesting, and we see at the end of the chapter ichigo being targeted along with chad, hmmm interesting turn of events. Orihime powers are like that of an omega level mutant from marvel comics.
Just so much unrealized potential...good thing her personality keeps her in check. If she is ever given a real chance to shine even Ichigo would pale in comparison.

After reading the new chapter and seeing the dirty boots FB. I am thinking that Ichigos FB will not be a sword. And that perhaps it will be him learning to wrap himself in FB power so he looks like he did when he used FGT.

He might get a sword, but mabye the sword comes later and the hilt wrapping will give him a cool FB appearance before he gets his blade back.

I'd say the recent chapters may not be that exciting but the pace has upped slightly. There are Unknowns attached to Fullbring and its user. I have several questions and I want them answered. At least, there is something to look forward to :).

I reckon that the 'Lost Shinigami Agent' arc is going to be about Ukitake's statement, when Yamamoto Genryusai was chewing Byakuya, Kenpachi and Kyoraku out, about 'soul society is yet to see someone capable of replacing the Sou-Taichou'.

And Ginjou told Ichigo that Tsukishima was a previous Substitute Shinigami, that means that either his mother or, more likely, his father was a Shinigami. Does anyone else think that he looks kind of similar to Aizen. That would also explain his weird 'rewriting' powers.

^How? I don't see how the fullbringers are relevant in such thing. Ichigo is not a member of the gotei 13 either. On top of that the lost of them are alive in the sense that they have human bodies. Ichigo can somewhat get around that but even that is not much help if they are still human (it is only ichigo's soul that is a hybrid). Also, tsukishima was not a shinigami substitute, he killed a shinigami substitute.

Im still puzzled bout the entire fullbring thing. Not the power itself because i understand what it is but the following.

They told Ichigo that they'd get his powers back but how does gaining fullbring make his shinigami powers come back? And if they know this so sure how does it work? So far Ichigo only learned to use fullbring and not get his powers back.
