Anyways, back to the episode: The talking scenes were pretty boring, but the fighting scenes were awesome. So 7/10. Preview looked awesome too.

Guess mostly everyone was right, they were saving the great animation for the Sasuke vs. Danzo fight. Can't wait for it!

This episode was pretty good, nothing to impressive by but still good. I'd give it a
8/10. Originally I was going to give it a 7/10, but Madara's short but cool fight gave it a point boost.

Madara's abilities looked weird most of the time and were they kidding with Madara's entrance?They totally misinterpreted the scene.Oh god,how can you be this stupid?Fuu and Torune looked like iditos.

I dunno, I thought they did a good job showing the fight between Madara and Danzou's flunkies. I really like the slow motion shots as things went through Madara. The last few fights seem to be on a slow-motion bonanza which is fine.

The anime reinforced my opinion Sakura was "not" there to confess her feelings. Thank you, Captain Clueless. I liked how they stopped the music as Naruto brushed aside Gaara's gesture. It was moving

Nice episode but it felt like faces were not drawn properly at many places. Especially Fuu and Torune looked idiots. Slow motion during the fight was fitting. I hope next couple of episodes are animated well.

The next episode should be awesome.I'm kinda surprised that they decided to use the good animation this early,though.

They KNOW that Madara need to touch his target before using his vaccum technique, so why didn't they draw it like that!?!!

Anyway, it's not a big deal, but it's still bothers me everytime.

Next episode drawing looks really shitty... which is kinda surprising since it's a Sasuke fight.

Yes It was inconsistent in this episode. Many a times, faces were weird.

The episode would be actually pretty good if there wasn't talk about Sasuke... Sometimes I think that this manga is really not about Shinobi, but about strong "friendship" between men. Actually it looked like some type of love triangle: 1. Gaara loves Naruto, 2. Naruto loves Sasuke, 3. Sasuke loves himself.
When Sai was talking about Sakura and others being ready to kill Sasuke Naruto was practically going to cry. I actually thought that he would immediatly try to persue Sakura and slap her for trying to separate him from his beloved.
And also it was tremendous when Gaara said:"Naruto, Sasuke doesn'r care about you anymore, but I will always be your friend!"

Actually this manga is good when there is no Sasuke and there is no talk about him.

I hope that in the next episode we'll get some decent fight animation.

The animation team was always gay for Sasuke,even in part 1.It's because his design is just plain awesome and those artists love it.Naruto's not the same,though.He always has the same design and the Part 2 one sucks from an artists' point of view,so yeah.

I hope the next episode won't end as a flashback episode,because from what we've seen,it looks like it.

i think that every scenes that Naruto appeared were quite well done ! I just found ridiculous some parts of the fight between Tobi vs Torune/Fu
but except that i found the animation great!

after madara cutting his infected arm i think it should have been blood but it was only a melted thing that looked like a melted white zetsu.i definetely think that madara isn't in his own body

Animation was same like in first part of Killer B vs Kisame fight so we shouldn't compalin about it. Everybody now should wait for next episode that will have greatest animation out there.. BUT.. I dont want to sound like hater or something like that.. Danzous arm was sealed with iron something.. and in preview that something is flying in air like some freaking leafs:darn I know that is anime but still I dont like things like those.

I see your point, but if you compare this episode to the manga chapter it's still a lot less yaoi-esque. Thank god, the Gaara-Naruto talk in the manga was really awkward. Here, the talking scenes were actually done quite well again. Those are actually the scenes were the anime is superior to the manga because they get the (emotional) drama across much more convincingly and also make it look a lot less pathetic than Kishi does in the manga.

I actually liked this episode, despite some minor flaws. But alas, it was only a minor fight. The next few episodes should rock like hell.

Not sure if you follow the manga or not. If you follow the manga (in addition to the anime, and are caught up, the below is for you...

the melted white arm thing actually repeats itself later on when Minato fights & damages him. I too don't think it is his 'real' body.


I liked this episode. Like paradoxican said, they captured some things the manga might not be able to get as closely. Like the Gaara/Naruto talk. Never get the whole 'animation critique', i thought it was ok, but i'm not expecting a 22-25 minute work of breathtakng art. lol
