The Archie Comics Thread

Archie Comics have been around forever! The story of Archie Andrews and his friends Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Reggie Mantle and Forsythe "Jughead" Jones, who attend Riverdale High. They've been high school students since 1941, and have changed with the eras:

Many of us have read these and know the story: Veronica, the rich debutant; Reggie, the egotistical playboy; Betty, the modest sweetheart; Jughead, the lazy glutton; and Archie, the typical American teen!

This is where you can reminisce about the comics that some of us grew up with and even learned to read with!

Definitely like Betty. Jughead's funny too.

LH, what a great idea. I'm sure Archie and Betty & Veronica is one of those guilty pleasures that most comics readers (mostly men) are afraid to admit. :D

Hey, I read Archie comics before anything else :D (When you're a kid, anything goes anyway, heh.)

Jughead's definitely my fave. And also that scientist kid, Dilton Doiley. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dilton_Doiley) I think his comic, Dilton's Strange Science, was my fave out of the whole 90's Archie Comics line, actually.

And there's also been comics with them in the future - these were fun too.

Ken-chan, Archie 3000? That was my favourite alternate Archie storyline too. XD I also liked the ones were they were a group of heroes or something. And they even had a team chant, much like 'Avengers Assembled'. XDDDD

I read Punisher vs Archie. That one's hillarious!! :D Especially at the end where Archie wants to be Frank's sidekick :rofl

I used to love the storylines with Moose and Midge XD Moose was so dumb. Hm, I need to go dig some of these up and reread them XD

Though, about 6 or 7 years ago, they used to have games on the website, and one was where Jughead was working for Pops and you had to flip burgers and stuff. I got so addicted to that game >.> It's been gone a long time though.

I just found my old collection of Archie comics. I plan on going back and reading them soon <3
