Black, but since many argue that's not actually a color, red. I really love white too and... Well I love anything as long as it's colorful. What's yours?

:wtf I have exactly the same liking. I hope by red you mean the dark red.

Favorite cuisine?
Favorite drink?
Favorite brand?
Favorite female character in anime and manga/manhwa?

Dark red is love. I loooove dark red lip stick and nail polish especially. I think they're sexy. ;o
I even had my iPod special ordered because I wanted it to be red so bad.
We have good taste, don't we?

Italian!
Vodka!
I hate this question :bored
Road Kamelot, but that's a hard choice. :fail

Naom Love the HP quote in the siggie ^^

I can't believe I still remember it after all these years...:XD

It kind of imprints itself on you, doesn't it? Well it did for me. I remember reading it for the first time in second grade.
And he reiterates the quote in the seventh book, I think.
It's really interesting. I just re-read the first novel and everything that happens in the seventh, is in the first. Brilliant writing.

What are you talking about? I can do magic like it's nothing. You should have seen the horde of dementors I had to pown the other day.

And musicians, but I don't know if you play anything.

I'm funny :cheez
I did play piano from the age of six to sixteen or so, now I only play guitar (have done so for about seven years or so) and occasionally sing.

Just to clarify; I'm not the kind of guy who brings a guitar to a BBQ to impress the girls through playing "Knocking on Heavens Door" (G D Am / G D C)... I hate that guy.

No, just that they were all dead/ in a limbo-type thing.
I think that if every television series were as quality and captivating as LOST Season 1, then TV would be a better place.

:fail They weren't all dead. Don't tell me you're one of those people who got the ending all wrong :gwah

Eeeew. I'm glad our Walmart doesn't sell popcorn then. I don't even like the taste of (buttered) popcorn let alone the smell.

I can't walk into a Target without spending $50.

The wage is so much better than my last job.
I'll be working two days a week (about 24 hours) and making the same amount as I was working six days a week (about 33 hours) at my last job. Not to mention, Sam's has air conditioning. Also, I get some part time benefits with Sam's.

Let's just say that if you come and visit me at work, I can hook you up with some free samples. :3c Hahah

They don't have it anymore thankfully...but it doesn't matter since I avoid the place like the plague. :zomg You're the first person I've met that doesn't like popcorn other than myself. I can eat it, but I don't understand people who enjoy it really.

It's because you were disparaging the books :-_-

And about LOST...you weren't wrong...that they were dead in the sideways-universe. It was created for them all to come together after they died, so their souls could pass on together because they were very obviously connected. Everything on the Island happened though and when they died didn't apply in the sideways, because time didn't matter.

But someone who skipped out on a big chunk of the seasons may not have understood that and thought them all dead the entire time :sweat

Mostly, I'm just happy that I made everyone's night more special. It was the last movie, after all. I wanted to make it count. Because believe it or not, there were fans even more obsessed than me there!

Wish I could have invited the entire Fun Forum. D:

Nice pictures.

But the movie was horrible. :-_-

And you know mine. We disagree, but I can definitely see why many people didn't enjoy it. No denying that.

Why thank you =3 we have our own fanclub at school lol we quoted so many things, now theyre making me watch a very potter musical xD first i gotta go watch the last movie though i cant wait ><

Omg those pictures I envy you to the core and beyond :O amazing must have been loads of fun aye? an you're also really talented as a painter wow :super

It was soooo fun. Dx I wish that you, BakaHaze, Jorped, and kdowns could have been there. :crying

And thanks for the painting comment. >///>

Cool pics Naomi-chan, seems like you had a lot of fun! I'm planning to go see the movie tomorrow after work! My twin said he hated it but I'll be the judge of that. I'm really looking forward to it! well that and nachos with cheese and jalopenos :zomg

Thanks, I really did have fun. :amuse

You really have a twin, goldb?

...this reminds me of that parody of lady gaga's alejandro on youtube called jalapenos xD it made no sense ><

Oh god I've seen that.

Cant compare HP to the books though that would be suicidal...for the movie that is so go watch it with a free open mind like you havent read it yet ^^ I always do and Im ok with the movies, until i remember i read the books :amuse

She's a Harry Potter otaku, man.

I say it sucks because of bias. I've read the books first, loved the books, and think movies based on books should be true to it.

Like HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban: there was no Black and Lupin explaining what really happened.... Why the fuck not when that was important? In the last movie, Wormtail never spared Harry and got killed by Voldemort's hand, somehow Ron or Harry managed to knock him out with a wand... or kill him, which makes no sense. It cost more money and time to have Harry and Hagrid land on the road when they were attacked by Death Eaters in Deathly Hallows: Part I, and it made no sense because the Ministry of Magic's job is to hide the existence of wizards. Even wizards comply to that, there's no way Hagrid would have gotten near the streets like that.

FUCKING STUPID DIRECTORS AND SCRIPTWRITERS AND MOVIES! I can't believe Rowling actually approved that. At the very least, include explanation of what Wormtail did and have him killed by his own goddamn replacement hand after saving Harry and Ron. Include talking shrunken heads but not that. Have Harry and Hermione dance but not that. SOFA KING POINTLESS

Grow out of it? Hmmm...but how will you get a husband with behavior like that? :wtf

I know! When I said that I'll never grow out of it, I was think the exact same thing. :sweatdrop I don't plan on getting married until I'm older than 28 anyway though, so I have a lot of time to work on it... The only problem is, I plan on getting married in Harry Potter World so... I have to find someone that loves it as much as I do. There is no alternative.

You're the first person I've seen praise it that high. Milly says it sucks, and most other people say it was a major letdown :gwah

Those are all of the die hard book fans, I'm sure.
Don't get me wrong. I think the novels in this series are nothing short of a masterpiece.
However, I've learned that the movies and books are two completely different things. If you compare them, you'll end up hating the movies no matter what. It's like a manga that's adapted into an anime that is good, but essentially just can't compare.

I am a firm believer that you should read the books first though. Otherwise, the movies will spoil the world you see in your head.

I think the single most disappointing thing about this last film was that Dumbledore's past wasn't revealed. I feel that this was one of my very favorite aspects of the Deathly Hallows novel.

I agree, I was looking horribly forward to Dumbledore's past. It was important, especially to Harry's character as well. I liked the locket horcrux showing Ron an image of Hermione. She was hot even as an ethereal thingie. :hurr

28? That's kind of an arbitrary number. I see so many people getting married because it's the next logical step, or they're trying to improve a relationship and that will somehow fix all their problems...big mistake. I'm surprised you even think about marriage, given the way you are. Though I suppose the saying is that every girl imagines her wedding day.

So you have to be married there? I can only imagine how expensive that would be. But I suppose you're only thinking of the romance...I hope that's what you're thinking of, otherwise...uh...:rofl

Mmmmm...well I read A Game of Thrones like 10 years ago, and when I finally realized they were doing a series of it I started watching it, not realizing I had read it initially. Well, after the first season I ordered all 4 books that were out, and I'm on the 4th now. I reread the first book, but even though I had read it before, I couldn't help see the characters from the show in it. I think you make a good point, but trying not to combine the two in your head is inevitable.

And I haven't read or watched anywhere near enough to have really any impression of HP anyways, so I don't know.

I know, wrong? :bored I really would have loved to see Dumbleydoor's screw-ups. It makes his character more real. And then you can understand what he was seeing when he had to drink the potion in the cave. :/

I still think the dragon escaping from Gringotts is my favorite part. I love almost anything done with the pensive. Probably the coolest visual effects there.

Well, then you have no preference for where you shop really, because I know girls who love to shop sure. Not at Target though :oh

Yeah, I'm not extremely picky on the stores. I hate Hollister and Abercrombie though. They stink, I can't see anything, and they're over-priced for clothes that you end up advertising their brands for.

Anyway, the reason I said 28 is because I imagine I'll be finished with school by then and have a career going. Hot Topic too mainstream for you, xi0? XD

I don't know if I can say I have a favorite store...I like going the Barnes and Noble occasionally, but Book/DVD/Magazine shopping isn't necessarily the same as girly apparel shopping is it? :sweat

Ahhhh! I completely forgot to mention Borders in my favorites!! Definitely not the same as girly apparel shopping, no, but definitely as good. The reason Borders slipped my mind is that ours just recently closed. I was severely disappointed when I found out. Want to know the worst part? They're turning it into a western store.... Makes me sick that does. :notrust The nearest book store after that is Barnes and Noble, but it's 20 minutes away. And the Half Price Books may be close, but it's certainly not the same.

As far as an ego thing...I'm realistic, no one with a giant ego admits to having one. I don't think I do, but if I do I'd be willing to admit it.

Any girl that says she doesn't love shopping at VS is completely lying! That store is by far one of my favorites. The only annoying thing about it is that the employees drive me insane. I could say the same about any mall retail store though. They're easy enough to ignore though.

Retailers bugging the hell out of you? That's probably because you look like an easy mark. I just look at them and snarl and that's the end of it :hip

It was alright. I'd probably give it a 7/10. I'm glad I stuck with it though, because the ending really saved it for me. I'd say give it a shot if you have time for it.

the beginning i remember was nice but i heard lots of cool characters die, still I will read/watch it ^^

Nah, I'm kidding I have my moments

I wouldn't doubt that you have an evil side. :3c
Don't we all? Some stronger than others though.
What's the most evil thing you've ever done?

They're playing with fire sparkles! :derp

I want to play with them too. This reminds me of a time when I went to a 4th of July party, and the guys were shooting roman candles at one another. :fail

Why aren't all the guys standing around help and fire some sparklers??

I guess it was like a respect thing. She was usurping Snape's position as Headmaster, and wanted to win it fair and square. Also, what M3J said.

As far as an ego thing...I'm realistic, no one with a giant ego admits to having one. I don't think I do, but if I do I'd be willing to admit it.

I wouldn't say that I get a huge-out-of-control-ego vibe from you. You seem like a pretty balanced guy so far, xi0 :thumbs

Retailers bugging the hell out of you? That's probably because you look like an easy mark. I just look at them and snarl and that's the end of it :hip

Once, I was at American Eagle and literally three associates came up to me and asked "what're you looking for, do you need help today?" within a span of five minutes. This is basically their way of saying "I'm watching you..." So by the fourth worker, I said "No, but you heard that girl over there just ask me the same thing. You're all very annoying, so no, I'm no longer looking for anything." Then I left. :oh She looked so offended, but she must've known it was true. They drive me insane. I guess I don't look like an easy target, I just look like a thief. :fail I don't know which is worse.

I'm never anti-social, except when I am :derp

Well said. And you always want to be social with me.

Those weren't my words sweetling :neutral

I can feel it in your aura.

Okay, I like you now Naomi. You have chosen the correct path...his ego is...he is like a...nvm. He'd probably ban me for saying all those things.

You didn't like me before? :scry

I'm dreadful at cooking. I can makes the best chocolate chip cookies on the planet (not exaggerating), but that's the only talent I was ever given regarding the kitchen.

:lmao I thought Naomi baked those cupcakes?

Yes, I baked the cupcakes. >_>; ....But no, I can't really cook. I can do that basic easy stuff.

the beginning i remember was nice but i heard lots of cool characters die, still I will read/watch it ^^

There are many deaths. My favorite character died, but that's alright. Death happens, so I think it's only natural that it should occur in fictional settings as well. This is one of the many reasons that I hated Twilight.

I met with my adviser and signed up for classes today. So far, I'm enrolled for calculus 2, calculus-based physics, and organic chemistry/lab. Wish me luck and hope I don't die? :D Especially since I haven't been to any classes this entire summer! I hope my brain hasn't melted completely in this lazy heat.

It was also pretty discouraging when my adviser said "You're sure you want to do a bachelor's in science for chemistry? That's probably the hardest degree here. :notrust Of course I choose the hardest thing.

I hope that I can do it though, because there is nothing else I want more than chemistry right now. I'm so excited to be starting at a university, I love the atmosphere there... Although I'm totally going to get lost every day. It's huge.

Wouldn't it be interesting if they made Harry Potter into one of those graphic novels? I've seen it done with Artemis Fowel (I've never read the books, but my sister loved them and got the graphic novel to go with it). Harry Potter is soooo long though. It would be a huge project to take on.

I mean I always knew there had to have been some huge reason that Dumbledore trusted Snape despite his past and animosity towards Harry, but I never really expected that it was because he

was in love with Lily, even after everything that happened, including her death. That was a huge run-on sentence. XD Snape reminds me of Heathcliff, who is one of my favorite characters from literature.

M3J
July 24, 2011, 01:39 PM
Heathcliff?

I was shocked too. I wondered why he hated Harry so much since his eyes would have reminded him of Lily, although Harry looked like his dad.

Can't disagree that Harry had too much freedom at times though. :notrust

blai

I think that he hated Harry, partially because his of dad, but partially because the fact that his eyes reminded Snape of Lily - the one woman he loved, who died to save someone that grew up to be more and more like James - the one man he hated.
Hard to explain, but do you know where I'm coming from? :3

Did you take a bunch of AP classes, take a bunch of courses in CC your senior year? Not taking off the summer doesn't sound like you'd get through enough credits to be that far ahead. Or are just a genius? YOU ARE A WIZARD! :plot

My other theory is that you skipped a grade due to moving around. I dated someone like that in HS. She lived in Utah, Colorado and then moved here and skipped a grade because I guess their curriculum was further along in Colorado than it was here. So she was a year younger than everyone else in our grade....hmmm

Well, for shits and giggles I might post a song...but I posted it during my video spree in the LPTP thread, and I thought is was apropos :amuse

Ughhhh. This song. It really makes me feel something, you know? He did make it big, didn't he? All without selling out, from what I can take from the album. Well all good music does. I know what you mean, I can't explain it really. There's a certain something to their music. I think it's the synth...yeah it's the synth :hip

Radio stations are pretty much dead. They're hemorrhaging money...in the music side at least. If it isn't a Top 40 pop station, a Classic Rock station or Hard Rock station it pretty much comes and goes. There are some alternative stations that can survive though. There's a college local station WTMD, lower on the dial that plays all the good stuff, including Bon Iver. Only problem is the signal isn't very strong.

You always expect non-mainstream music to do well on stuff like the iTunes charts, but you rarely see them do really well on the Billboard Album charts. It's impressive.

Heathcliff? :zomg Wuthering Heights~

---------- Post added at 04:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:15 PM ----------

Wow...long post is long :imslow

Naomidee
July 24, 2011, 03:53 PM
Heathcliff?

Spoilers for Wuthering Heights, if you haven't read it. :oh

Yup, he's from Wuthering Heights, which is easily one of my all-time favorite books. The story between Snape, Lily, James, and Harry has many similarities between the story between Heathcliff, Catherine, Edgar, and Cathy, respectively. Heathcliff and Catherine are childhood friends and love each other, but Catherine betrays Heathcliff by marrying Edgar Linton because he is more "respectable" than Heathcliff. She has a daughter with Edgar, but both Edgar and Catherine die. Heathcliff then becomes young Cathy's (the daughter's) ward and tortures and bullies her.

Sound familiar? :derp
And have you ever read Wuthering Heights, M3J? It's so good. *_*

I was shocked too. I wondered why he hated Harry so much since his eyes would have reminded him of Lily, although Harry looked like his dad.

Can't disagree that Harry had too much freedom at times though. :notrust

I agree. Harry did take matters into his own hands quite foolishly quite often. Having said this, he had a very good nature and modesty about him. Snape saw him as arrogant like James. At the same time, can you blame him? James tortured him and mortified him on a daily basis, and then stole the woman he loved. I'd hate his son too, if I thought they were that similar! XD

I think that he hated Harry, partially because his of dad, but partially because the fact that his eyes reminded Snape of Lily - the one woman he loved, who died to save someone that grew up to be more and more like James - the one man he hated.
Hard to explain, but do you know where I'm coming from? :3

Also, a graph novel would be a _huge_ project. I wouldn't count on it. However an animated series wouldn't be too unrealistic, even though I very much prefer eastern over western animation.

Although Harry looked more like James and had the same sense of mischief at times, I think he was more like Lily in the more elemental and deeper ways. In my view anyway.

Yes, it would be wishful thinking beyond reality, would it? XD
Did you know that the Harry Potter films were going to be animated at first? I'm glad they weren't in the end!

I know right i mean :carlton when will THAT ever get boring ><

Never. That's when.

So does that mean you have about two more years until college, or is it three? Sorry, I'm a sheltered American. XDDD; I don't know how things work in other countries, so I have to ask that sort of thing.

well there is a Maximum ride manga and there are totally like 8 books but not as big as HP still :/

I mean Twilight got manga! :yelling, HP deserves it more so they could do a cool animation for it, hopefully Japan will like they took Deltora Quest ^^

I've never read the Maximum Ride series.

Ugh. That's because Twilight milks itself for everything it's not worth. I mean, they're splitting the last "novel" into two movies when it could have easily fit into one. Not to mention, there are a few spin-off books of the series. The basic series itself isn't even worth crap.

---------- Post added at 03:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:27 PM ----------

Oh, did people not think that? Did you get some mess for it? :shifty

Well, the thing is. When I just blurt out exactly what I'm thinking like that, people don't usually think "BAMF" they think "BITCH". :rofl
Sad but true. Ever walked up behind someone and accidentally heard them talking about you? It's happened to me a couple of times, and they're not always nice things. I have to admit though, I love hearing what people truly think about me even if it is mean. In the words of my bff's ex boyfriend (who I hated, and didn't sugar coat shit with)... "She don't hold back much, does she?" I'm trying to be a nicer person these days though! I used to be a nice little girl in middle school, no idea what happened. :oh

I don't think I know what I meant there either. I just like to italicize things to make people think there's a duel meaning...:jk

My other theory is that you skipped a grade due to moving around. I dated someone like that in HS. She lived in Utah, Colorado and then moved here and skipped a grade because I guess their curriculum was further along in Colorado than it was here. So she was a year younger than everyone else in our grade....hmmm

No, I didn't skip a year. What do you think I am, a genius? Pfft.
And it's witch, xi0. Witch.
You were right on your first guess, I took a couple college classes senior year and then got massive credits for the AP tests I managed to pass. I had my freshman year over with when I graduated high school, which was great since I planned on going straight to community anyway.

But yeah! 8D I now have my associate's degree and am ready for the big stuff! I hope I love university as much as I crave it.

Well, for shits and giggles I might post a song...but I posted it during my video spree in the LPTP thread, and I thought is was apropos :amuse

You can say that again! I love The Edge as a radio station, but that's about it. And even then, I still only truly like about half the stuff they play. I also like the classical station though. *nerdmuch?* :bored

Isn't it weird how that works? Thank the gods of jelly for iTunes!

Heathcliff? :zomg Wuthering Heights~

You like it too? :wtf

Although Harry looked more like James and had the same sense of mischief at times, I think he was more like Lily in the more elemental and deeper ways. In my view anyway.

Well, I have no clue regarding his parents from a transcendental point of view but he's been told he acts like his father but has his mothers eyes - which is what I base my assumption of Snape's anger towards Harry.

:oh

Yeah, sometimes we can be Misread (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOxE7IRizjI&ob=av3e) :derp But hey, it's better than being a pushover. I can be both at times. I'm not trying to be mean with people, I'm just an honest person. But sometimes I'm a pushover because I can't be bothered with conflict.

Of course, I have to know everything pertaining to me. I'm not paranoid, I mean...of course not :imslow. Others impression of you is always interesting. I'm like a sponge, I have to absorb everything, including what is mostly useless, inconsequential things.

Ah, so is the University far enough from home that you'll have to dorm? Or will you commute? The full college experience does come from being out on your own and stuff.

Satellite Radio has a lot of niche stations, that completely kill AM/FM radio, music-wise. But there's still something nice about having that local institutional radio station.

We have two classical radio stations here in Baltimore, and I must admit I listen to them as well. They're nice to relax to for sure.

Yeah, I guess it's weird in a way. The only people who buy physical CDs anymore are country fans...for some reason. And I'd rather listen to cats mating than whatever they're calling "country" nowadays. If it isn't Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson...GTFO

And of course I like Wuthering Heights, it's a classic. Very atmospheric and angst-ridden book.

Keeping in mind that I'm a total hypocrite for saying that to you. I do believe the statement is true, but I don't seem to practice it that often. Ah, so is the University far enough from home that you'll have to dorm? Or will you commute? The full college experience does come from being out on your own and stuff.

No, I'll be staying with my mom still. :sweat I know I'm not getting the experience I should because of this, but I simply can't afford living arrangements for myself and neither can my mom. My dad probably could, but it's not like he's going to offer. I'll stick to guilting him into paying for my books maybe.... The tuition for my classes is about to triple. Well, I didn't pay tuition last year, so... Tuition is about to multiply time a gazillion :bored

But anyway, I get along with my mom really well. I get away with more shit than all three of my sisters put together. I have no idea why. Might have something to do with being the second born? I've never so much as heard the word curfew, but my little sister (and older one, when she lived here) never heard the end of it. :cookiehand I pay for my car hoopla, gas, food, clothes, and all that shit though so I hope I'm not too much of a burden, you know?

Violence? Catfight? Are you super serial? You've been in fights before?...yeesh. What did you do to the girl to make her say that?

The only time I've been violent as an adult was at a drinking establishment. My brother's girlfriend had a door flung open behind her after she entered a bathroom and the guy was insanely drunk. She had a bruise on her back for over a month. Anyways, long story short, I headbutted the guy while he was all "Come at bro!" in my face and I felt his nose crunch in the impact. We left immediately. It's the most nonchalant and least attention-drawing solution to fights in a crowded area. I'm not proud of it, but animal instinct took over for some reason :sweat

I know what you mean! It almost makes me feel self-centered, but it's a curiosity I can't help.

Who cares if it's self-centered? It's so damn interesting. My only worry is appearing paranoid to other people :imslow

No, I'll be staying with my mom still. :sweat I know I'm not getting the experience I should because of this, but I simply can't afford living arrangements for myself and neither can my mom. No student loans to take out? Meh, I say since it isn't too long there's no reason to pay all that extra money. If it's like most campuses, you won't be able to stay there after your second or third year anyway, unless you're an athlete or are in some sort of honor society. After that, there's usually some sort of lotto to determine everything else. My brother only dormed his first two years, but is now staying in off-campus house with roommates. The school is just that far away that would make commuting a living hell. So you had a voucher of some sort to attend Community College for one year? Or is it free there? Or was it some sort of grant?

Well I'm the older son, so I'm not sure. I'm always interested in the Oldest, middle, youngest dynamic, but when it becomes more than three, it gets confusing. My Dad was the second born of his three siblings, but he had a older brother, a younger sister and a younger brother. So he wasn't the oldest, the youngest, or the girl. But with 4 girls...that dynamic is too much to understand.

Yeah, as long as you pull your own weight around the place, your mom should be down...if she's sane, I mean.

Does Patsy Cline fall under country...? If so, I love her very much! You're right, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson are good ones too. I actually bought the Eddie Vedder physical CD. It felt so weird.

Of course not! She was only threatening me... And most of it was behind my back, mind you. She only said that to me when I confronted her about it and set her straight. I didn't do anything to the girl directly, it was something I said to her friend, which was probably way over-dramatized. Basically, I said "No, I don't want to be friends with you any longer and I would prefer that you didn't ride in our limo to prom. My aim isn't to hurt you feelings, but that is honestly the way I feel." Apparently she cried a lot and went running to the girl who started saying "I'm gonna kick her ass!" and things like that. The girl I was honest with asked me a simple question, and I answered. If she didn't want to hear the truth, she should have never begged the question in the first place.

Bet he woke up the next morning with more than a hangover headache! :XD

No student loans to take out? Meh, I say since it isn't too long there's no reason to pay all that extra money. Ohhh, I see. Yes, the 45 minute drive is going to be awful, but my mom made it for three years, so I think I can try it too. The traffic on the way home won't be as bad I hope. And since my sister is going to the same school and is about halfway closer, I'll probably pick her up on the way or maybe stay the night from time to time... If her husband's not there. -_-;

It was just a small scholarship is all. It paid for my tuition at the community college for one year, which was all I needed. :D Only problem was, my books were more expensive than my tuition for the first semester...

I think I'm a bit like the 'forgotten one', like the middle children usually are in a three-person dynamic. Don't get me wrong though, I don't mind a single bit. Being the forgotten one rocks. I don't think I'm as smart or talented as my older sister, but that balances out a bit since she was the guinea pig child... I guess you were too, huh? Is it a lot of pressure being the oldest? My older sister seems obsessed with being a role model and hiding whenever she does something bad. I'm like the cool older sister who takes my younger sister to parties and shit. XDDD; The youngest I would never do that with though! Maybe when she turns 30. xP

Yeah, as long as you pull your own weight around the place, your mom should be down...if she's sane, I mean.

She's sane in the important ways at least :cookiehand

Eddie Vedder put out a country album? I recall him putting out a ukulele album or something recently, but not a country one.

Oh, I didn't mean that he came out with a country album, I just pointed out the oddness of me buying a real-life CD. It was his ukulele album that I got.

Yesh...well, I'm not sure what that has to do with his shipping, but I digress :eyeroll

This is how most sane males act...if a confrontation is brewing, deep down inside they're begging for people to step in and diffuse it...hence the whole "Hold me back!" joke :rofl It really is true though. Girls are a different story...I've seen chunks of hair ripped from scalps and claw marks on faces...when girls fight, shit gets REAL, really quick.

Who knows? After I wiped his blood off my face, I just left the place. I didn't want the authorities snooping around. Fuck the law, I was in the right, but I wasn't going to leave it up to chance.

Ohhh, I see. Yes, the 45 minute drive is going to be awful, but my mom made it for three years, so I think I can try it too. The traffic on the way home won't be as bad I hope. And since my sister is going to the same school and is about halfway closer, I'll probably pick her up on the way or maybe stay the night from time to time... If her husband's not there. -_-;

It was just a small scholarship is all. It paid for my tuition at the community college for one year, which was all I needed. :D Only problem was, my books were more expensive than my tuition for the first semester...

Ah, your Mom went to the same school? That's cool, so it's not really unfamiliar or anything then? Your older sister is married? How old is she? :blink I take it you got issues with her partner :s

That's usually how it shakes out, books are hella expensive.

Maybe when she turns 30. xP

Well it makes more sense to me now that there's only three of you under one roof. The oldest is married away and off somewhere. Then you have the other two, which I'm assuming the youngest is the kid-sister type?

I was a the guinea pig child to a certain point, but once you get past a certain age, you're kind of equals. He just turned 21 so we're both technically fully-fledged adults. I suppose he got away with more, and things were less strict for him, but we were never shitkickers in the first place, so there wasn't a reason to lock us up in our rooms and have unreasonable curfews. We're male too...in general parents are more protective of daughters than sons.

We can be those best friends that never admit their creepy, undying love for each other and torture each other with our unvoiced feelings. It'll be great fun! 8D

I know, I've only talked to him about two or three times on IRC, but it was a pre-arranged marriage. M3J was sick of getting paired with me, so he forced me on Zat or something like that. :lmao Zat's a cool guy though, I'm not complaining.

:wtf That sounds delightfully angsty. Things will be unvoiced, but some things will be understood right? :hurr It sounds tortuous

Ah, now I think I can recall Milly trying to deflect with Zat. It makes sense though.

Never. That's when.

I've never read the Maximum Ride series.

Ugh. That's because Twilight milks itself for everything it's not worth. I mean, they're splitting the last "novel" into two movies when it could have easily fit into one. Not to mention, there are a few spin-off books of the series. The basic series itself isn't even worth crap.

l

:carlton

Well Twilight is twilight :XD it had potential but it went potentially bad thats all i can say >< I didnt read the spinoffs XD dont know if i want to but apparently her second book The Host is actually good :blink ah well

Maximum ride is nothing special i love it though cuz its a fun read, though i think you might like the House of Night series, seriously awesome plot and cool new vampyres with funny quick sarcasm ><

So does that mean you have about two more years until college, or is it three? Sorry, I'm a sheltered American. XDDD; I don't know how things work in other countries, so I have to ask that sort of thing.

No that means I have one more year of college before Uni :XD its diff i think here we have only two years in college (unless we decide to make it three for like high grades reasons) then around 5 uni depending which course :amuse

Never read it, though I did see a mention of it in the Twilight series... more than once.

Harry never acted like James though, other than ignoring authority, but that was for greater good. Snape is too biased. D:

He had his father's magnet for trouble nature plus his 'popularity' gave Snape the wrong idea :amuse

I used to love Twilight, you know. :( But after that hyper moments passed away, it faded away and my feelings for it were just so-so. The movie ruined the novel, in my opinion. Spin-off books, you mean like Midnight Sun and Bree's story? I only read the half-done Midnight Sun, though. XD The Host, didn't really try it. :zomg Drama~ Did you break the news to the girl prom night? You aren't that cold right? Well if she really didn't ride in your limo to prom I suppose no one else disagreed right? Sounds like it was harsh, but fair.

I know, and I get really stressed out from drama. I really hate it, especially when it effects me so directly. But no, I didn't tell her this the night of prom, it was a couple days before hand. I didn't even know she just assumed she was riding in our limo until I heard from someone else. And seeing as I was in charge of organizing the limo, it kind of pissed me off. :cookiehand Most of the people riding with us didn't know her, and a couple of them didn't like her. A few were indifferent. It was pretty harsh, I can't hide that, but I had tried to let her down in a nicer way before I said that last bit to her. Some people will bug you until you look them in the eye and tell them exactly what you mean, no coats of sugar.

The best thing to do would have been to just leave, but I was seeing red. I'm a mellow guy, I don't like conflict. I know what you mean. Men fight more often it seems, but not as viciously. I don't know the reasoning behind it. Perhaps it takes more anger and hatred to move a girl into physical violence, so they have more built up to unleash on their rivals... Or maybe it just has to do with the specific people. I'm no psychologist or sociologist though, so don't mind me. XD Better to get out of there before more trouble breaks loose, so I think you handled it the best you could once the deed was done.

There's something about Texas that makes it more trashy than some of the Northern states. I don't mean that to sound prejudice, because I've also met some of the kindest people I know here... It's just this sort of redneck mentality that infects some of the peoples' tempers here. The high school I went to in Colorado, well I'd never even heard of a cat fight breaking out there. The high school I attended here, I saw three cat fights in action, and by complete accident. My freshman year I watched as these two girls got into it - one had all of her hair extensions torn out and spread on the floor while the other had both her eyes so swollen that they were slits. :s

Ah, your Mom went to the same school? That's cool, so it's not really unfamiliar or anything then? Your older sister is married? How old is she? :blink I take it you got issues with her partner :s

Yes, she did. :amuse Although she didn't major in the same subject, so I won't have many of the same professors. She can show me the ropes on a couple things at least though.

I never really had a problem with him until about a month after they married.I heard yelling coming from downstairs one day, so I went to go try and help things calm down. Long story short, he ended up shouting inches from my face as he was completely red and shaking with rage. When I wouldn't move aside and let him scream at my sister, telling him to calm down, he just got more angry. I seriously thought he was going to shank me that day, but he eventually went outside. I never raised my voice with him, but he wouldn't listen to one word of reason. I never knew his anger issues were that extensive. He's such a little boy. I'm capable of being civil with him (only for my sister's sake), but it's needless to say he's no longer welcome in our home and I don't even have a remote fondness toward him. -_-;

That's usually how it shakes out, books are hella expensive.

You can say that again. x_x But I checked my FAFSA account today, and I got $3000 in grants and another $7000 in student loans available for this year. The grants will pay for maybe about 3 courses and the grants will cover most of the rest of tuition. I'm pretty much on my own for the books and shit though. D: Maybe I could guilt my dad into paying for what I can't cover... Not like he paid child support! :rofl :-_-

Well it makes more sense to me now that there's only three of you under one roof. The oldest is married away and off somewhere. Then you have the other two, which I'm assuming the youngest is the kid-sister type?

Yup, she was married about six months ago. And yes, the youngest is definitely the kid sister type -_-;

I was a the guinea pig child to a certain point, but once you get past a certain age, you're kind of equals. He just turned 21 so we're both technically fully-fledged adults. In the end, it depends on how many classes you take per semester, how hard the degree plan is, etc etc. It took my dad about six years to get his master's in finance. Criminal forensics? That sounds so BAMF. I bet there's a lot of science and biochemistry involved in that.

Depends. You may regret not trying it more than trying it as you learn something new and gain new experience. So for example, if you wanna try speeding (which I do not recommend unless you're as good a driver as I am, seriously), then you could. If shit happens, you at least learn stuff and have a story to tell. If you don't do it, then oh well, that's smarter.

Okay, it was more than that, but I didn't count those times since you got... toooooo touchey. :oh

WHat's even worse is that Edward didn't even try to bone Bella. WHAT KIND OF FUCKING MAN DOESN'T DO THAT?! It's a pure 100% fiction. Even if Edward is a vampire, there is no way... NO FREAKIN' WAY! And she's willing to get pounded (literally, since she got bruised)! :gwah

It's stuff that I need to keep to my self for a bit, say like something a friend told you persay... I am the type of person who is told something, I won't go off and tell other people...

That is weird! I always thought that girls were more dramatic and guys more chill. Of course, I've never really seen how a large group of guy friends interact with each other. *whips out binoculars and data logs* XDDD Are they secretly drama queens in their natural habitat?

I have more Girl Friends that Guy Friends, but I know that for a fact that the guys friends I know have a lot of drama, hell, I even have a lot of drama... But they all don't like it either... But I guess it's the fact we meet the criteria to be drama magnets... Hell actually my girl friends help me get out of more drama than they are actually apart of.

They do. I wouldn't want to get caught in a chick fight.
Ahhh! Well luckily I live in the suburbs. It's not painfully redneck here, but every city has its own set of boondocks.
Out of curiosity-have you lived in Texas all of your life, kdowns?

Yeah, I don't want to get caught in the middle of one... I've actually almost been in a fight because some random asswipe was bullying me because I would read Manga in class. I have actually only lived in texas maybe 6 years? I was born in Germany and lived there for about 4 years and grew up in Georgia.

In the end, it depends on how many classes you take per semester, how hard the degree plan is, etc etc. It took my dad about six years to get his master's in finance. Criminal forensics? That sounds so BAMF. I bet there's a lot of science and biochemistry involved in that.

Yeah, that is true... Criminal Forensics is dealing with a lot of Science and Math... Which I am really good at... Fun Fact: I was the only Senior this past school year who didn't have to take a science course required for graduation because I was so far ahead.

According to Impie, anyone who is still in their teens remains a chibi. I'll lose my chibi before you! HAHAHA! :kukuku

It is not so simple. Your wordings have sarcasm...apologize for being most sarcastic person on the face of planet Earth :hip.

How dare you :gwah ..........and no, I won't be apologizing :cheez

yeah like :ck or maybe :pwned or just a big "PERVERT" *runs away* if you're lucky, women nowadays are agressive :guns

Twas sarcasm deary :sarc

I know what you mean. Men fight more often it seems, but not as viciously. I don't know the reasoning behind it. Perhaps it takes more anger and hatred to move a girl into physical violence, so they have more built up to unleash on their rivals... Or maybe it just has to do with the specific people. I'm no psychologist or sociologist though, so don't mind me. XD Better to get out of there before more trouble breaks loose, so I think you handled it the best you could once the deed was done.

I'm probably generalizing when I say what I'll say, but I think there's more or at least, a different type of vindictiveness with girls. They'll say one thing and mean another, they can be completely vicious to those they consider friends. It's more of a thing in adolescence, but you don't necessarily expect girls to be blunt and honest in a good, refreshing way. You expect them to toy with each other more. That's why the girl at the prom probably exploded with rage, because it was something she needed to hear and it cut to the core.

Putting all the stereotypes aside, there is human trash everywhere. Some areas maybe it's more concentrated, but I'm always amused by those from the big Eastern cities who'll ridicule someone for their accent and attributed a bunch of stereotypical things to them on a whim. Meanwhile, they're dirtbags themselves.

Yes, she did. :amuse Although she didn't major in the same subject, so I won't have many of the same professors. She can show me the ropes on a couple things at least though.

I never really had a problem with him until about a month after they married.I heard yelling coming from downstairs one day, so I went to go try and help things calm down. Long story short, he ended up shouting inches from my face as he was completely red and shaking with rage. When I wouldn't move aside and let him scream at my sister, telling him to calm down, he just got more angry. I seriously thought he was going to shank me that day, but he eventually went outside. I never raised my voice with him, but he wouldn't listen to one word of reason. I never knew his anger issues were that extensive. He's such a little boy. I'm capable of being civil with him (only for my sister's sake), but it's needless to say he's no longer welcome in our home and I don't even have a remote fondness toward him. -_-;

Oh, so she graduated somewhat recently then? Wow, that's pretty cool. You'll have even more to relate to since there isn't a generational gap there.

It's always interesting seeing what someone will put up with for love. That some can be blinded from someone's true nature for the sake of the warmth they can bring to your life. He sounds like a turd though. Sometimes it's best to wash your hands of a person then run around in circles trying to make a relationship a reclamation project. Sometimes things work themselves out.

:rofl :-_-

Sweet. It's a shame you have to play the guilt game with a parent to get help though :s I won't ask about that since it's pretty personal.

Whatever, I bet you got into loads of trouble. Just never got caught. I've done some pretty idiotic things, but I came out of it alive at least.

No way. Do I come off as a troublemaker? :derp

I believe it was riki who dropped the bomb on that one.

I mean; the guys in my school read it just to hook up with girls more easily...

Twilight :gwah why not read something like Dianna Wynne Jones, Id certainly hug the dude who tells me he loved her books (whomever saw Miyazaki's Howl Moving castle, this person wrote the book :woo) :hurr

Also, Twilight is that damn horrible. All it does is play on women wanting someone to love them and treat them special, so they think they're like Bella or try to relate to Bella and SOMEHOW are successful even when their significant other loves 'em so. Delusions, I tell ya, delusions.

Bella Swan the queen of mary sue ifail :-_- wanna know the funny thing, in my country, in my language Bella prounounced like in the movies means idiot :derp

Though i gotta say whomever drew the graphic novel has nice art and the characters looked more like themselve rather than in the movie :blink

Ohhh, I'm sorry. I bash Twilight a lot, don't I? I honestly don't mean any offense whatsoever to you, I promise! >.< But I see what you're saying there. Twilight's themes were pretty shallow, so it only makes sense that it didn't really stick in your heart.

Visual novels. Like comic books?

LMAO! XDDDDDD That's pretty clever, if you ask me. Although to a guy, I imagine the series would be depressing, seeing as Edward was so "perfect". I hated his character the most in the end though. Even more than Bella.

Meh, not a problem. Don't feel bad. I'm not that Twilight freak, so feel free to express your opinions. Yeah, I suppose that is why I didn't feel so attached to it after the series ended. Even more after watching the movies. XD

No, visual novels, like you read a novel with graphic in it. Not comic books. I'm reading the visual novel of Umineko no Naku Koro ni now. Ever read that series? :)

LOL, I agree. Seems like lots of guy feel depressed over Edward. XDD

:gwah

M3J, according to the law, if you're a speeder you're automatically a bad driver. :cookiehand
But yes, I've tried speeding before. I got up to 98 and was like ok this is probably bad. XD I was in a helluva hurry though. Didn't go that fast for more than 20 minutes. I'm not really reckless when it comes to driving. I don't get a thrill out of it.

You're right about having stories to tell! Our biggest screw-ups make the most captivating tales, don't they?

That's because a mormon house wife wrote the story, I believe. :fail

I have met one of those creeps since birth... It's called my mom... She wants to get in all of her friends buisnesses and I always tell her to stop.... And being in Theatre has shown me many people who will feed off my own weaknesses.

You were an actor for a while, kdowns? Was it fun? Did you have to dance around on stage and make an ass out of yourself like they do on Glee? XD <3

Keeping your friends' secrets doesn't make you a liar. Telling the secrets is what makes you dishonest. I've always seen myself as a terrible secret keeper, but my best friend told me that I'm great at it. :s If people really try to tell me something horrible I typically flail my arms and say "I DUN WANNA KNOW" :gwah or "Tell me at your own risk sweetheart" :notrust Hahaha. If it comes down to it and is really important though, I try my best to be a good confidante.

Yeah, I don't want to get caught in the middle of one... I've actually almost been in a fight because some random asswipe was bullying me because I would read Manga in class. I find most of those girls were really attractive and psychologically damaged. People would put up with them because they were eye-candy, and would just ignore most of everything they said.

Trashy people are always the most judgmental... That, and [most] religious people. XD

Here, here...I'll drink to that :beer

Wow...so she was like Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School? :rofl Going to school together with a parent seems like a novel concept but not something I'd be interested in >_>

After High School I said "F this learning crap" and just worked with the intention of going school at some point. I soon learned that working full-time and going to school just wasn't going to work for me. Right now, my situation is a mess, but I'll be going back to school soon.

I can only hope that you're right. *sigh* I'm not as concerned with how he treats me as with how he treats her. How you treat someone is how you treat someone. It'd be unrealistic to assume him screaming in your face was something he only chose to do once and with only you. So I assume your mother was mum about it with her? Or did she give her a bunch of crap but it didn't matter? How much older is she than you? The law is stupid though. :cookiehand I've never been in a speeding accident that was my fault. Two accidents were with stopped car, one was my fault. The last was in September where this idiot tried to make a left turn when I was coming. She has no excuse whatsoever since it was night and I had my goddamn headlights on. I was on university ground and going the speed limit. -.-

Oh. We're opposite, then. I get thrills and jollies out of bein reckless and speeding, and surprisingly have not been in any safety trouble. I have not put anyone else at risk either, or not extra risk anyway.

They do, and they serve as lessons. Although I didn't screw up, I drive better and less recklessly nowadays. :hurr

She's a Mormon? WTFBBQ? NEVER BUY MORMON BOOKS! :bored

Spoken like a true American! Hahaha. Well, you haven't been in a speeding accident yet. Although I imagine you would get caught with a ticket before actually wrecking anyway. Careful of those coppers and old ladies crossing the street.

Well, I do get some thrills out of being reckless, but not necessarily with driving. I won't lie about it... I'm not a very good driver since I'm not naturally gifted with coordination. Therefore, I take driving very seriously. The worst you'll see me doing is dancing and listening to music too loud. Sometimes it's all I can do to stay awake though. I hate getting drowsy at the wheel. Scary shit.

Oh yes, you didn't know? I don't want to give a bad name to all Mormons... What am I saying? I don't want Stephanie Meyers to give a bad name to all Mormons. Some LDS are simply the most genuine and selfless people I've ever met. Plus, the religion sincerely promotes family and service which I find very noble.

Actually, I was in three musicals already... And yes, I had to dance around making an ass out of my self... But I really only did Glee stuff in choir... I was a Fine Arts kid....

Which musicals were they if you don't mind me asking? You definitely were a fine arts person from the sound of it! That's weird... Since you're really good at math and all. You must have pretty good access to your right brain and your left brain. I bet you're good at chemistry then. I think that you need a good sense of your left brain for the math portion of the subject, but a strong grip on your right side as well for the art of it. Beautiful subject, chemistry.

I never got into theater or choir, but I was I went up to Art IV. I definitely miss being in an art class. Painting and drawing on my own just isn't the same.

It really isn't that hard for me to keep the secrets in because not that many people will go to me to spill secrets of my friends because they know for a fact I wont do it. And usually my friends only tell me because I tell them, I am here if you need anyone to talk to.

Seems like you're a better friend than me, kd. :sweat I wish I was more like that.

I really hate bullys also, but I scared him so shitless he tried to be all buddy buddy to me for the rest of the school year... It was quite fantastic.... Easiest way to make a name for your self...

:rofl Dear lord, what did you say to him? Do you remember?

Umm Georgia is quite nice, I grew up near Savannah were pretty much everything was beautiful and rich in history... And Yes, I was born in Germany... BUT I was born a U.S Citizen because my dad was in the military, so I can still become the president :3... So your dreams don't not equal crushed!

I'd like to go see the historical side of things there. I love America's history. AP US was one of my favorite subjects in high school. I'm horrible with dates, but I love the concepts.

:wtf I'll start making posters right away! I need a large picture of your face, please. XDDD I'm only kidding... Asking for pictures of your face might blow my cover of not being your stalker.

Yeah, I know these two subjects will take me far, but I always wanted to work for Nasa and one day become an astronaut... But seeing as that program is not funded anymore... =/

I was a very sad person for a few days.... Science and Math are always my best subjects... English is definately my worst... Barely passing the Exit Level English Taks test (if you had to take it).... Don't worry I am sure you will one day get good at it! :thumbs

Ughhhh. I was shocked when I heard about that. In fact, I had to write one of my essays about the value of NASA and space discovery on the English AP exam a couple years ago. I'm sad to see it go too.

It's weird to talk with someone online about the TAKS test.... XD I think that test is rubbish. I have zero respect for it.

He likes to rant and rave about how a good a driver he is. From personal experience, he didn't crash into anyone so I guess he's a good driver...if that's the qualification.

I find most of those girls were really attractive and psychologically damaged. People would put up with them because they were eye-candy, and would just ignore most of everything they said.

Spot on; She was gorgeous. I used to hang out with her a lot because she was a very fun person and we liked some of the same things. One of my party girls, but even that gets old after a while.

Wow...so she was like Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School? :rofl Going to school together with a parent seems like a novel concept but not something I'd be interested in >_>

Something like that. XD I had gone to lab with her once and noticed a couple of the college guys flirting with her... *twitch* Goddamn cougar-lovers. I never thought of the MILF concept until it slapped me in the face. She was all "is that popular these days? Did Ashton Kutcher make that a thing?" :fail

After High School I said "F this learning crap" and just worked with the intention of going school at some point. I soon learned that working full-time and going to school just wasn't going to work for me. Right now, my situation is a mess, but I'll be going back to school soon.

Working full-time and going to school has got to be one of the most taxing things to do. I see college as a full-time job in itself. It's hard enough going and just trying to work 30 hours a week. I can't imagine more.

You're smart though, xi0. I think it would be a terrible loss if you never went to school again. I hold a high esteem for education. If I were more patient, I would be a teacher. Have any idea of what you'd study?

How you treat someone is how you treat someone. It'd be unrealistic to assume him screaming in your face was something he only chose to do once and with only you. So I assume your mother was mum about it with her? Or did she give her a bunch of crap but it didn't matter? How much older is she than you? Seems like a crazy idea to get married at a young age anyways...

I didn't see his true colors until after they were married. There were signs, I should have noticed them. I feel like I failed as a sister for not seeing it sooner... It makes me very sad sometimes. I don't think I've ever told that to someone before.

I think my mom had a vague idea of how awful he was, but she didn't know the full extent until after they were married too. My sister is only 21. He pressured her into getting married. They had been dating for a year and then engaged for another year after that I think. It's not like they rushed into it or anything, but sheesh. 21 is still so young to me. My mom married when she was 18 though. She already had a kid by the time she was my age. Isn't that weird?

When I first got my license, I was actualyl speeding in parking lot. Saw this old lady and stopped in time, few feet away. I went to school with Mormons, even dated one. It's silly to point at one religion and scrutinize it over the other, but it's just because their faith is unique in some ways. They're all pointless in my opinion, and I'm a confirmed Catholic. Religion devalues the actual life experience and how incredibly lucky we are for our existence IMO. Live for today, not whatever comes after life.

Seems like that would be a good indicator. I've had one pretty bad wreck and another teensy bumper tap. Neither are on my record of course. :derp

I've rear-ended someone when they stopped really short at a red light once. I went under the Jeep with my hood, so the damage was all on the car I was driving. Legally, I suppose it was my fault, but it was pretty obvious the other guy didn't know where he was or how to drive.

Something like that. XD I had gone to lab with her once and noticed a couple of the college guys flirting with her... *twitch* Goddamn cougar-lovers. Pfffft :rofl

You're smart though, xi0. I think it would be a terrible loss if you never went to school again. I hold a high esteem for education. If I were more patient, I would be a teacher. Have any idea of what you'd study?

LOL...a lost to who/what? I'm glad you think I'm smart, but smarts alone don't get you anywhere. There's a ton of people in college who don't belong there, and vice versa. Doing well in school doesn't necessarily mean you're smart...it means you're good at school.

While I was still in school and immediately afterwards I was really considering veterinary medicine. It's a good field, everyone has pets, plus I love animals. I suppose I sort of talked myself out of that one considering that amount of school involved. It's something I still think about.

I like Philosophy, but there isn't much to be done by majoring in that. Social sciences are interesting too. I've been told on multiple occasions that I'd make a good teacher, but I don't think I'd have the patience or want to go to school for that when managers at Fast Food joints make more money (the definition of injustice). During my senior year I worked with the special education department and liked it a lot. I've also considered Psychology since it's something I find interesting and know something about.

It's all too much to consider. These schools always want you to declare for something, but I decided recently that if I go back to school I'm just going to go for general studies and see where that leads me. I've done aptitude and vocational testing before and none of the results seem to interest me. This is a career we're talking about...I suppose I'm too much of a lazy bumfree-spirit in that way and am too fickle :XD

I didn't see his true colors until after they were married. There were signs, I should have noticed them. I feel like I failed as a sister for not seeing it sooner... It makes me very sad sometimes. I don't think I've ever told that to someone before.

My mom married when she was 18 though. She already had a kid by the time she was my age. Isn't that weird?

Well maybe there's some catharsis there to actually letting someone else know. It sounds like something that troubles you. If some human piece of crap "stole" my brother away from me and myself and my parents all felt the same way...that would just be awful.

21 is way too young. Back in the middle ages it was just whenever a woman was able to be a mother. A half century ago, 21 was still probably just the right age or maybe even a little late to be married away, etc. I don't know. I just think people don't really know who they are until they're older. I don't think I knew when I was that age...I'm not sure if I really know now :derp My parents started later than most. They were married five or so years before they had me, and by that time they were in their early 30s.

"F this learning crap"
:rofl
I rest my case, rebel.

I was being a little crude there wasn't I? :XD I suppose that was the root of it. My formative years didn't necessarily go as planned, but whose does? I suppose I was fed up with the school environment, but not necessarily the social aspect of it. It's not easy to explain, so I won't go into it.

Does her sister have a MH account?? o:

She was a mod before riki. She started modding on her account and after she became inactive, riki made her own account.

You've smoked cigars? :barf So it's the whole "I only smoke when I drink" axiom...meh. I've never tried tobacco products. Anyways this is about 2 pages back :lmao about the mormons? Yeah they tried recruiting me as I was waiting for a ride home. I thought they were some philosophical dudes just doing random surveys outta interest at the start until they were like "Yeah, guess what, we know the answer" and I knew I had been caught in some religious thing and then when I saw the "Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints" I was just like hooolly sheeet I just got involved with some evangelistic mormons.

And then they preached for about half an hour about some Jo Smith or something and I was trying to look interested; then before I tried to run away they asked for my number but I was like yeah, I don't have a mobile :derp and yeah the whole time I was trying so hard to not ask them about magnets...:XD

I find it pretty interesting that Mormons do missionary work in other countries, trying to convert people, and have spread to other countries, because it's a uniquely American faith. It was "invented" here. It just shows you that while religions are all different, they usually all operate the same way.

Omg! You're a fast reader. o_o Bookworms are awesome though. They've read everything, so they can always tell you which books are the best. I'm dreadfully slow when it comes to reading. I have this weird thing where I'll read something and then sit there and reflect on it for several minutes. It happens at least one a chapter, so you can imagine how long it take me to read even a single book.

I have to read it again and again to get the full gist though since im so fast, why thank you us bookworms are indeed very rare and awesome in the most papery way xD

While I may be, it won't be of my own fault I can tell you that much. At least, not while I'm youthful. :3 Already been caught with a speeding ticket, pulled over for speeding (didn't get the ticket), pulled over for getting on yellow line thingie before left turn, and ticketed for reckless driving. Coulda gotten four points, but I managed to end up with three points. How about you? :o

*imagines M3J as an 80 year old man weaving through traffic in his Cadillac at 90 MPH*
:rofl

I can't remember how the point system on your liscense works, really. How many d'you have to rack up before is't suspended or something like that?

I've been pulled over twice. The first time was because I was doing a scavenger hunt and we got out of my car to take a picture acting like animals on the railroad track (just one of the tasks), and someone called the cops on us. We weren't out of my car for even five minutes, damn drunk middle aged people. At least we weren't on drugs or alcohol like every other 18 year old in this town. :notrust Anyway, we got back in my car and weren't driving for more than two minutes before he pulled us over. Of course, we weren't doing anything wrong so I didn't get a warning or anything like that. The other team watched me get pulled over and were laughing their asses off though. Azia was like "Haha! Lookit those dumnasses getting pulled over, what losers!" And Charles said "Doesn't Naomi drive a white '95 Honda Civic?" :rofl In the end, we won the scavenger hunt though because we got bonus points for getting a picture with a cop, not to mention he gave us a few tips on where to find other things on the list.

The second time I got pulled over was because my inspection was out. And I honestly didn't even realize it, so it was only a matter of time before someone noticed. I was clueless to it.

I don't love myself at all, it's quite the opposite, to be honest.

I just hate being paired with people. Don't yoU?

Aw. D:
:hug

Well... I'll admit that it's pretty embarrassing. :sweatdrop
But I usually sincerely enjoy the company of whoever I'm being paired with. So it's pretty fun sometimes! n.n

Both my parents are Mormons. :amuse But yeah, that philosophy sounds good to me. :thumbs I don't refrain from hurting people and cheating my way through life because I want a reward after I'm dead. I do it because it just improves the quality of life that I'm living right now. Seems to make more sense to me at the moment.

LOL...a lost to who/what? I'm glad you think I'm smart, but smarts alone don't get you anywhere. There's a ton of people in college who don't belong there, and vice versa. Doing well in school doesn't necessarily mean you're smart...it means you're good at school.

A loss to society, goddamnit! :yelling XD Ew I sound like a middle aged teacher.

I'm a class-A example of what you just described there. I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not very smart. I have to work really hard in school to get good grades. I always envy those that are more naturally skilled than me, especially when they waste their potential. *dramatic chipmunk face at xi0* :shifty

While I was still in school and immediately afterwards I was really considering veterinary medicine. It's a good field, everyone has pets, plus I love animals. I suppose I sort of talked myself out of that one considering that amount of school involved. It's something I still think about.

A tough field and a lot of school. Isn't that six years at least? It's similar to becoming a doctor. I wonder how competitive it is in that area of schooling.

Yup, I was quick to tell you like philosophy. From what you say, you seem to give it a lot of thought. But yeah, I don't know what the degree would get you as far as a job goes other than teaching.

I didn't declare my major until this semester. I've had chemistry in mind ever since I took my first chem class sophomore year in high school though. The first couple years are just getting your basics overwith anyway.

Have you taken psychology classes before?

Well maybe there's some catharsis there to actually letting someone else know. It sounds like something that troubles you. If some human piece of crap "stole" my brother away from me and myself and my parents all felt the same way...that would just be awful.

That's true. At the same time, I want them to be happy. Divorce is always an option, but an ugly one at that. I think it brings the absolute worst out in people. Now that he has a steady job (which I helped him get, btw :yelling) I think things will become less tense all the time.

Did they? I don't mean to be rude, but are they still married? My dad was 28, so he started at a good time, but chose someone way too young for him in my opinion.

She was a mod before riki. She started modding on her account and after she became inactive, riki made her own account.

Oh I never knew! How interesting. I feel like such a noob when you tell me things like this! hahahah

Oh, the stuff called Spice? LOL, why do you poo-poo it like it was "only" synthetic weed? :rofl I like how you rationalize it :derp

Errr probably. It's called K2 here. The only true rationalization was that at the time, it wasn't illegal yet. :cookiehand I wasn't driving around on that stuff of course. XD I'm not that retarded.

Well twice isn't a habit...but how did you forget? :shifty

I think I forgot because that night was pretty blurry. It was a strange situation, too. The owner of the ice cream place I used to work at was about 65. So his kids managed there sometimes. I was working with his daughter and son-in-law one night (they're like in their 30s :fail) and they invited me over to their place for a few drinks. So I was like of course! because I liked them very much. c: And well... I got really drunk off my ass with them and then they randomly whipped out some weed. o_________o I was shocked, but am more prone to do that sort of crap when I'm drinking, so I had a hay day! I got a 32 ounce chocolate shake that night... :love I didn't even know they came in those sorts of sizes.

You've smoked cigars? :barf So it's the whole "I only smoke when I drink" axiom...meh. I've never tried tobacco products. It's so unattractive IMO...:gwah I've sort of mellowed on it a bit, trying to not be "that guy" who's always up people's asses about it. But I was very much that way with the people in my life.

Only a couple of times. :sweat And yes, they were pretty awful. The next day my throat hurt so bad.

Tobacco is really not great at all. I don't quite understand the addiction to it, but that's probably because I've never been addicted. It's so bad for you too! >.<

You're allowed to lecture me, xi0. I probably need to hear it. Heh. You think smoking is unattractive? Oh xi0, if only you could see me smoke. I'm a total noob ass at it, so I'm like choking over the cigarette with my eyes watering and what not. XDDDDDDDDD I have no idea why I somehow always end up with a cigarette in my hand at parties. :fail It often ends up in my friend whining "where the hell did you get that? WHO KEEPS GIVING NAOMI CIGARETTES, DEMMIT! :yelling"

*cough* Yeah Naomi chan your thread advances really fast huh...

Anyways this is about 2 pages back :lmao about the mormons? Yeah they tried recruiting me as I was waiting for a ride home. They just came up to me and were like, hey do you know the answer to this question and show me a card reading "Where do I go after I die?" I thought they were some philosophical dudes just doing random surveys outta interest at the start until they were like "Yeah, guess what, we know the answer" and I knew I had been caught in some religious thing and then when I saw the "Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints" I was just like hooolly sheeet I just got involved with some evangelistic mormons.

And then they preached for about half an hour about some Jo Smith or something and I was trying to look interested; then before I tried to run away they asked for my number but I was like yeah, I don't have a mobile :derp and yeah the whole time I was trying so hard to not ask them about magnets...:XD

I know. x_x Can you tell that I can't keep up with it?

Bahahahahah! *imagines BakaHaze backed into a corner by overzealous missionaries.

Magnets? o.o

I find it pretty interesting that Mormons do missionary work in other countries, trying to convert people, and have spread to other countries, because it's a uniquely American faith. It was "invented" here. It just shows you that while religions are all different, they usually all operate the same way.

Fucking Magnets, How Do They Work? :derp

I have a friend who's over in France at the moment! And my dad was in Chile for two years when he got out of high school. So that's kind of interesting.

Another one of my friends was sent to California. I pity him above all others. :derp

A funny NCIS clip: click (http://youtu.be/yqHiPklUFvI). Look at the video "All You Had to do was Ask" as well, it's funny how Gibbs reacts to Tony. xD

Hahahahahhaha!

:lmao Yeah Pity I'm not good at singing otherwise Rickrolling would probably have been even better. And :o Really wtf LDS is an American invented faith, wow and they're all forced to go around the world converting others... the poor guy I was talking to didn't even get to save up moeny for uni before he came out here...

I think it originated in New York, if I'm not mistaken?

I have to read it again and again to get the full gist though since im so fast, why thank you us bookworms are indeed very rare and awesome in the most papery way xD

Really? hahaha lol ive been called a lot of things but cute? (Note im the tallest in me family) thanks :hurr you're awesome too!

She likes Keane, D.Gray-Man, Harry Potter.... How much more awesome can you fit into one person?

Long posts... Can't cope... Must flee...

*runs out of the thread*

:bye Blai
...I don't blame you of course. XD

The musical were, Bye Bye Birdie, Annie get your gun, and The BoyFriend... all but Annie were really really cheesy. I guess I did have good access... But I blame it on being ambidextrious... o.o And yes, I was really good in chemestry...

I don't really know those musicals.
Ooo. Chemistry nerddd. ... .. . . .alkjd;lskjdf :hurr

All I did was stood up for myself... But when I get angry I am totally diffrent person.

I knew you had a dark side, I knew it!

Than you can't go wrong by going to Savannah! I think history in general is great... I was in APUSH also, but I dropped after the first grading period... My slackerish tendencies couldn't cut it in there... Wait, I thought you were my stalker... :-.-

Very difficult class, won't lie about that. Good thing it was so interesting, or I wouldn't have done as well. Of course I only managed to just pass the AP test. Since history isn't related to my major, I got credit for it anyway. XD

Stalker...? kdowns please-I mean. Pffft. C'mon you're like...pfft what? Idon'teven.

Yeah, it pretty much flushed my dreams down the drain :scry

I find it kinda weird also talking about a now defunct test ... But it was really really really really (do I need to put more emphasis) easy... I was always finished within an hour... And slept :3

:/ Sorry. I guess in the end, it wasn't meant to be. That's what I try to tell myself when my hopes are shoved aside. :scry ...It's not really that comforting in the end, is it?

You can say that again. People would fail it miserably and then complain that they shouldn't need the TAKS to graduate. I was like.... No, you definitely shouldn't be graduating if you couldn't pass the TAKS dude... The math level doesn't go past the first half of 10th grade.

The English portion was just so retarded. The prompt one year was "tell about someone who is your hero, someone you look up to".
...I wrote about Batman and got a 4/4 :derp

:rofl

I can't remember how the point system on your liscense works, really. How many d'you have to rack up before is't suspended or something like that?
Cadillac? Woman, give me a good car like Nissan Maxima! :gwah I don't see myself going that fast at such old age though, but I can't see me not acting immature, so who knows? <_<

Also, today, this one car was making a left turn (its own lane) while the other car was making a right turn (same lane I was on, a bit to the right though). I decided to pass in between the cars to go straight despite the small space, I gambled and won. That is the kind of excitement I like, gambling. :hurr I thought I was gonna hit one of the cars but didn't. Epic ftw. \o/

To be honest, I have no freakin' idea. I was told by the officer that I should be appreciative or lucky he didn't add an extra point when giving me a ticket or I'd have lost my license or something. I forgot, really. :x I rarely get caught anyway, so screw it. :hurr

Lookit those dumnasses getting pulled over, what losers!" And Charles said "Doesn't Naomi drive a white '95 Honda Civic?" :rofl In the end, we won the scavenger hunt though because we got bonus points for getting a picture with a cop, not to mention he gave us a few tips on where to find other things on the list.
lulz, nice. But wtf at you being snitched on. -.- Shoot their ass with your gang, they need to freakin' respect your redneck ass. D:

The second time I got pulled over was because my inspection was out. And I honestly didn't even realize it, so it was only a matter of time before someone noticed. I was clueless to it.
Female drivers. What can ya expect? D:

Inspection?

Yeah, I've only taken two AP classes fully and took the test over them (Music Theory and MacroEconomics) but I failed both of them but I was so close to passing the Theory test ;-;
But I wouldn't of gotten credit for it anyways D:

Ah I thought that's what you meant. Well, if going from nothing else but our convos, why would I think you're not smart?...that just seems like self-deprecation or humility to me :p Why would you envy someone who wastes their potential? Because they get to be lazy? I think I'm getting dumber as the years go on, that's why I HAVE to go back to school :XD

A tough field and a lot of school. Isn't that six years at least? It's similar to becoming a doctor. I wonder how competitive it is in that area of schooling.

Well to be a veterinarian, yeah it's six years or so. Anything involving life sciences is tough schooling. I'm sure it's competitive enough since it's not like it's something you can major in at every school.

You'd have to double-major or minor in something else, like English or Journalism. Philosophy on it's own is pretty useless.

My brother declared and switched his major as a Sophomore already and he's going into his fourth year and will probably need fifth year or so to graduate.

I took AP Psych in Highschool, but I have other experience in the field :derp

That's true. At the same time, I want them to be happy. Divorce is always an option, but an ugly one at that. I think it brings the absolute worst out in people. Now that he has a steady job (which I helped him get, btw :yelling) I think things will become less tense all the time.

Mmmm, divorce is never easy, but it's much easier when kids aren't involved and when someone is younger and still starting their lives. That way, there isn't much to fight over.

Did they? I don't mean to be rude, but are they still married? My dad was 28, so he started at a good time, but chose someone way too young for him in my opinion.

I don't think that's a rude question, it's not like divorce is really taboo anymore. They're still together, it was 30 years in April. Ah so there was an age gap working there. Well your Mom popped out four(?) of you so things seemed to work for a while I guess? :sweat

I think I forgot because that night was pretty blurry. It was a strange situation, too. The owner of the ice cream place I used to work at was about 65. So his kids managed there sometimes. When you first mentioned shake earlier I thought you meant you drank a cannabis-infused milkshake or something :rofl Something like that probably exists, but now I see what you meant was that you got the munchies :XD

Only a couple of times. :sweat And yes, they were pretty awful. The next day my throat hurt so bad.

Tobacco is really not great at all. I don't quite understand the addiction to it, but that's probably because I've never been addicted. It's so bad for you too! >.<

This feeds into the uninhibiting properties of booze. Everyone has that type of reaction if they drink enough of it, I just never had an urge to smoke when I got drunk enough, but I suppose I never had the urge or curiosity to do it while sober either. Sure, I would/will act like more of goof and do things I wouldn't normally do though.

Well I would hope I'd never have to see you smoke :cookiestare If you look like a noob or if you look Humphrey Bogart it's still unattractive :cookiehand

Technically there is a high that nicotine gets you, but it's so miniscule compared to the more hardcore drugs (stimulants, opioid). The trade-off is that the addiction to it can be as strong or stronger than cocaine....pretty awful trade-off on that alone methinks.

I pretty much agree with Baka on what he said though. If I'm going to blacken my lungs, I at least want to "Fly like an eagle"....doo-doo-doo-doooo :derp

Eeep. I wonder how long it takes for those points to go away.

lulz, nice. But wtf at you being snitched on. -.- Shoot their ass with your gang, they need to freakin' respect your redneck ass. D:

I know! Some people are so uptight.
AND I AM NOT A REDNECK, PUNK! :yelling

Female drivers. What can ya expect? D:

You of all people shouldn't be criticizing others' driving! XD

Inspection?

Yes, the yearly state inspection.

How were you crazy ass? you get wasted and grinded random people? :o Devirginize yourself though. \o/ Be part of the crowd and not have any self-respect for yourself! It's a popular thing!

Yes, I've grinded on strangers before. But who hasn't?

Pantie shot? :ninja

Oh, M3J. :rofl I guess it was worth a shot, but I'll have to politely decline.

So you enjoy my company? :zomg

1) So you gonna give NCIS a try? =D

2) Goddamn your posts are freakin' long! :notrust

3) lrn2smoke. It's not that hard, just inhale, hold, and exhale. Practice with a hookah, it's socially acceptable. :thumbs I think out of six or seven people, I was the only one (if not the second one) to successfully blow out smoke. :o

But of course.

(1) I will check for it on Netflix!

(2) Ugh, sorry. Half of them are quotes though. :sweat

(3) Practice makes perfect, right? Well, that's one thing I'm not going to deliberately practice. I can't even remember smoking the cigars to be honest.

And I see being a Chemistry nerd has you a bit... Arouds :cheez

Absolutely. We have chemistry, kdowns. PUN! <_>

Well I am a gemini :3

Oh? I'm an Aquarius. I wonder if we're compatible. I don't really know anything about that zodiac astrology stuff.

Yeah, I've only taken two AP classes fully and took the test over them (Music Theory and MacroEconomics) but I failed both of them but I was so close to passing the Theory test ;-;

I probably would have failed the Macro AP test too if I had taken it. I just took the college course and paid for it instead for senior year. In the end, that was probably easier (but much more expensive of course).

Would you care to explain this picture I have of you outside my window?

....................................................... You have a very active imagination, my friend! Heh heh!

I know many people who complained about failing the TAKS test repeatedly... and I would just laugh at them... (I am such a jerk :XD)

I got that prompt my Sophmore year and I wrote about My Dad (obvious answer) guess what I got? .... A FREAKING 1...... :scry
Actually I always got 1's on my eassys and OER untill my junior year when I actually needed to pass...

I would do the same! I mean, to fail TAKS... You'd have to make a conscious effort. I heard they're reforming the state exam into something new, called STAR... Naturally, it will be the exact same thing.

Bring It :3

*snaps fingers in a circle all ghetto-like*
Oh, I'll bring it all right!

Hey, you did what your gut told you which was to kill me off... I am just suprised you saved my ass the first night :XD

I know! It makes us almost as tingly inside as xi0![/QUOTE]

:hurr speaking of dgm theres the new one coming out soon :wtf yay :woo
I dont know how much awesome but we kick ass dont we :derp

Mafia game...I :facepalm

Oh, RaveDragon... *sniffle* Have you seen the news? D.Gray-man won't be published this month.... *sigh*
Since we're not really supposed to excessively complain in the DGM forums, I hereby give every DGM fan my full permission to make this into an agony thread.

You were good at the mafia game, shut up! XD

Oh really?...but you're not? I bet that went over well :eyeroll

Well, I hardly see my father so I doubt he knows... I don't act all Molly Mormon though, so he's bound to have some inkling. I drink coffee, wear tank tops, have more than two ear piercings, and that sort of thing. Not to mention, I drink alcohol (he doesn't know that bit though :eyeroll).

My mom knows all of that stuff, but she's not uptight. She understands me better than I know myself sometimes so :fail She's just a lot less naive and more down to Earth and what not. A few years back she told me "I don't care what religion you are, as long as you believe in God". *guilt* Errr, well I haven't really decided what I believe yet so... Although I find organized religion extremely interesting in a historical sense, I have yet to find something that satisfies me.

Oh, I worded that incorrectly. I envy your potential; I get frustrated by your laziness. u.u
Go back to school before your brain melts! Mine's already halfway gone and it's only been one summer.

You'd have to double-major or minor in something else, like English or Journalism. Philosophy on it's own is pretty useless.

My brother declared and switched his major as a Sophomore already and he's going into his fourth year and will probably need fifth year or so to graduate.

Double majoring sounds so difficult.

It'll probably take me three more years to finish school despite my having two years over with already.

I took AP Psych in Highschool, but I have other experience in the field :derp

Being a certified psycho is counted as experience now? :3c

Mmmm, divorce is never easy, but it's much easier when kids aren't involved and when someone is younger and still starting their lives. That way, there isn't much to fight over.

That's true. It seems like the longer you wait around in a miserable marriage, the more vicious the split is.

I don't think that's a rude question, it's not like divorce is really taboo anymore. They're still together, it was 30 years in April. Ah so there was an age gap working there. Well your Mom popped out four(?) of you so things seemed to work for a while I guess? :sweat

Thirty years... That's so awesome. *_* Having parents that're still married seems rare these days.
Yes, four! Hahaha. That's a lot once you think about it. But their marriage was basically over before my last sister was born anyway. I think my mom totally used him for the last one. :rofl

...whatthefuthewhat? 30 year olds inviting a minor over their house to drink? :rofl That sounds sketchy

It does, doesn't it? I was so surprised that I could keep up with them while drinking! o_o We played dominos and got high, it was great.
Sometimes I act like I'm a bitter 30 year old woman anyway, so I guess I fit right in. :cookiehand

When you first mentioned shake earlier I thought you meant you drank a cannabis-infused milkshake or something :rofl Something like that probably exists, but now I see what you meant was that you got the munchies :XD

Oh, xi0. It was wonderful.

Alcohol releases nearly all of my inhibitions, that's for sure. I think smoking is gross when I'm sober though, so I never understood my drunken mentality of doing it then.

Well I would hope I'd never have to see you smoke :cookiestare If you look like a noob or if you look Humphrey Bogart it's still unattractive :cookiehand

Hahah! Well, if you ever become a drinking partner with me, just hide the cigarettes. n_n

See, I don't really get smoking.

Drugs; I mean, yeah there's this massive high that stimulates the endorphin centre of your brain or whatever. And of course, you pay in kind by dying fast or getting addicted with all sorts of fucked up side effects.

Smoking? It's like drugs with no high...so why the hell would you do it? :blink

There are many much better highs you can get naturally.

Even drugs are overrated in my opinion. Drinking is fun, but even it is overrated at times too! I mean, the hangovers are just murder.

Smoking has given me nothing more than a slight light-headed floaty feeling.... That may have been from lack of oxygen though. :cookiehand

Plus cigarettes are so damn expensive. Who would want to pay for that sort of addiction?

This is as far as I got with my replies before giving up. :fail

I'll forever be young at heart, no matter how old I physically may be! :yelling

Me too, Naomderp, me too. :( Oh well, I haven't been busted after that and most likely won't be. Fucking lucky police.

You should slap the uppity part out of them and take out whatever's stuck up their ass. D:
And you are, DEMMIT! :mad

What? Why not? I'm a great driver. I actually established myself as a trustworthy driver yesterday to four old ladies, two of 'em my aunts, and two of 'em who-knows-what. My mom is actually confident in my ability to drive. :notrust And I wasn't comfortable wiht driving the van or its brakes.

Yes, the yearly state inspection.

2) Use spoiler tags! do spoiler=[name] to make it easier!

3) It's better you don't practice it at all, though. Smoking sucks and is so totally overrated, not worth the money. But hey, I get the same high from speeding and shit (when I got home after driving, I was literally smiling and happy, soooo). It's always sad to see kids as young as 18 smoking or buying smoke.

oh. Do you pass that a lot? :o

Oh yes. They just make sure that your car is safe and running the way it should. Nearly everyone passes without trouble. It isn't a big deal or anything, just mandatory in Texas.

I so need to party with you. not for the grinding part, but just to see you go crazy and wild and all. :oh

Haha! I'm a completely different person, that's for sure! :sweat The last party I went to... *sob* Yes, yes. You're right. Has it been confirmed that Hoshino was ill? I guess that's typically the case, so it would be safe to assume that. Even so, I hope it was for a reason not so horrible. She did put out that character book and everything. I can imagine her and the team getting behind. Still so sad. I look forward to her work every month. :crying

You managed to get yourself recruited just in time to be considered on the winning side, right! XD Well played.

I started drinking at the age of 16. And honestly, it's just so young. Hold off for as much as you can, I'd say. I don't know the legal drinking age where you live though.

Errr. I don't know what would be a good way to explain it. It's just a phrase I've heard before. I don't know who to quote it on or if it's really a quote at all. It means just what it says though. If you don't want to hear any lies, just don't ask me any questions! XD Not that I'm lying to you of course. :shifty

Let me listen to you speak. And you spelled stuff rednecky, like "demmit." :oh

I don't have a southern accent, if that's what you're insinuating!

Holy crap. You still a virgin (DO NOT ANSWER THAT, I DO NOT CARE, IT IS A RHETORICAL QUESTION)?! :blink

The night ended up with my friend scratching on the bathroom door whining, "Open the door! I can't let you be alone with her, she's still a virgin!" :fail I mean, I'm only 19 years old. It was a bit like having a babysitter. But it's great to know my friends look out for me at least sometimes. XD Cigarettes are fine I guess, but random guys I suppose not.

NCIS, you witch. -.- Last I saw (months ago), Netflix didn't. There's this site that does show episodes though, but it's not exactly in high quality.

Oh yes! I didn't forget, I promise. It was just a typo. I mix up letters like that really often when I don't proof read. I do that sort of thing when I speak aloud too.

Depends. It's fun, but not all that's cracked up to be, and i've gotten wasted two or three times and drank plenty of times.

Lulz. She cockblocked you! :rofl but why in bathroom? WTFbbq? o_O Funny how your friend blurts out you're a virgin though. D:

Advertising that I'm a virgin seems to be my two best friends' favorite pass time at parties. This time was a well-judged cock block though. He was cute, but I couldn't even damn well remember his first name. I kept calling him "Honduras" the whole night. :fail

Depends. It's fun, but not all that's cracked up to be, and i've gotten wasted two or three times and drank plenty of times.

True, true. The novelty wears off after a while as does everything... (almost everything anyway) I also think that the fact I'm drinking underage makes it much more fun for me. At sixteen, I thought it was the most exciting thing in the world. Everyone loves a bit of rule-breaking at some point in life. As soon as I turn 21, I'm going to be absolutely bored with it.

Also, I love your sig: "To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure." We don't know what death is like, so it could be another adventure for all we know. :wtf

It's my favorite Harry Potter quote from the first books. I still remember reading it when I was eight years old. I didn't understand its meaning obviously, but it stuck with me despite the fact. Death is an enormous motif in Harry Potter, and I love the themes JKR creates with it. She expresses the reality and pain of it so well, but maintains an obscure and fascinated view on it regardless. That quote is one of the reasons that Dumbledore is my favorite character.

D'you have a favorite quote?
