Introduction:
The long due confrontation between Yi Shioon and his high school bully Chang-Ho continues in the latest chapter of The Breaker New Waves. The previous chapter saw Yi Shioon running away from Chang-Ho after realizing that he was not powerful enough to fight him. He then seeks help from a famous Murim doctor who lives in a small cardboard house in the subway who asks for a favor in return for the help.

Page 01:
Chapter 32's cover page shows Saehee sitting alone at a cafe staring into infinity through the glass windows. The shadows seem to represent the time to be around noon, but she is not wearing her school uniform whereas Shioon was wearing his during his confrontation with Chang-Ho in the previous chapter. (Note: The girl's uniform had their skirts with stripes on them, and the sweater was shorter in length and sleeve size [See here (http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/95/50941227.jpg)])

The chapter starts off with Chang-Ho and his gang surrounding the cardboard castle belonging to the Murim doctor. This raises the question, how did they know Shioon was at this exact location? They might have considered the cardboard structure to be suspicious. Also, the gang seems to have converged to the same place while looking for Shioon in the subway (from the intel). As seen in the ending of the previous chapter, the men from SUC seemed to be approaching it from both directions. They might have entered the subway from both entrances and met there. This partially clears that query.

Chang-Ho is very determined to find Shioon and ends up kicking the cardboard house to find him, thus revealing the snakes bought by the doctor. What seems surprising is the fact that these "monsters" from the SUC gets scared by couple of snakes and run away screaming. This just adds to the initial speculation that they are new to fighting and had not undergone any "real" martial arts training. Meanwhile, the doctor uses a bloodmobile do get blood from Shioon.

Page 04-05:
While leaving the bloodmobile, the doctor gives Shioon a small, round pill which, according to him, would give Shioon the ability to use martial arts but, it does not fix his Ki-center. It has been said repeatedly throughout the series that to use martial arts, one needs Ki. Since Shioon's body is currently incapable of gathering Ki, he would not be able to use martial arts without causing physical harm to himself. Hence, the effect the medicine will have on Shioon and his ability to use martial arts is quite intriguing.

Page 06-09:
The moment Chang-Ho and his gang come out of the subway; they come face to face with Shioon and the doctor. Having heard that the pill will let him use martial arts and with a determination to prove Chang-Ho and his SUC mates’ beliefs wrong, Shioon ingests the pill. Chang-Ho tells Shioon that they meet Goomoonryong every day and receive orders personally from him. Shioon trying to convince Chang-Ho that he is being misled, points out that his martial arts is almost like an imitation of that of Goomoonryong. Not convinced, Chang-Ho snidely asks Shioon to show him the real arts and Shioon complies.

While Shioon stands in position confident of winning using the martial arts his Sunsengnim has taught him, the doctor whispers to him that the pill takes thirty (30) minutes to take effect. In a sudden change of mood, which was very well portrayed by the artist, Shioon asks Chang-Ho if it would be okay to fight after 30 minutes. When, obviously, disagreed by Chang-Ho, Shioon decides to make a run for it to buy more time.

Page 13-17:
Interestingly, Shioon seems to be running faster than the SUC members chasing him. This might be an exhibit to show the result of almost the religious physical training he has been doing ever since his Sunsengnim advised him. A mini-van approaches from the opposite direction, and a leaping Chang-Ho appears with his fist reached back for a punch. The punch makes impact with Shioon’s left temple and sends him crashing through the window of a store nearby. Shioon seemed to have turned to reduce the impact of the punch and hence got hit on his left temple.

Chang-Ho orders his gang to get Shioon out and to their surprise, from the rubble rises a slightly bloody Shioon saying, “Ahh.. Now I feel it, the feeling that I had almost forgotten.”

Discussion:
The chapter had a very good flow. It did create a lot of new questions, especially about the intentions of the doctor, the effect and/or side-effects of the pill, and intentions of the two who seem to be controlling Chang-Ho. Though it has become quite clear that Chang-Ho is being used, the reason for forcing the confrontation between them is yet to be revealed. It seems like a test to see if Shioon’s Ki-center is indeed broken or to test out the strength of Goomoonryong’s true disciple. Another interesting thing to look forward to is Shioon’s disposition after getting the taste of the feeling of being able to use martial arts. He has been beaten badly and while the chance of him going on a rampage is minimal, he could go overboard without realizing it, since he has never known his true strength.

PS: This is my attempt at reviewing a chapter for Breaker NW. scav (http://mangahelpers.com/forum/member.php/136240-scav) had done an excellent review (http://mangahelpers.com/forum/showthread.php/70640-chapter-32-review-by-scav) earlier, but since I was writing a summary for the chapter at my site, I thought I make it a bit more detailed and put it up here. Pardon any errors.
