Kurozuka and Akumetsu are pretty gory and dark, if I do say so myself.
And Goth is just plain dark awesomeness.

shamo is really good (just read the latest chapters)
i'm surprised nobody said anything about koroshiya ichi (manga after which ichi the killer was made)
i also love hellsing (but not the anime) but new chapters take forever :(
when you want something with a fantasy setting try claymore (never read it only watched the first episodes of the anime, not so good in my opinion, but it's not my favorite type of seinen :))

I'm looking for some titles of some of the more raunchy/sexy/perverted mangas. Titles as modestly suggestive as Tu-Love to ones as dirty as My Balls.
What ya'll got?

I only know about MangaHelpers and RitualScan (or sth like that) to get raws, so almost all of the raws are from the Weekly Shonen Jump.
I would like to know if there's any site to get all the raws from other magazines like Big Comic Spirits/Original, Monthly Mag., Afternoon, etc...
Thanks!

I changed your threadtitle for easier overview ^_^
As for your question - what do you search for exactly? Ninja fights? Hmmm... try
Ninja Scroll? Haven't seen it, though. Or do you like Samurai as well? Samurai Champloo (Anime), Rurouni Kenshin (Manga) and Samurai 7 (Anime) are may some hints for you? Vagabond and Blade of the Immortal are also nice swordfight manga. Onikiri Jyuzois is a manga by Basilisk's artist which was just completed.
Basilisk is pretty nice, I agree. I especially love the Opening/Ending songs and Yashamaru <333
Did you know that there's a movie called Shinobi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinobi:_Heart_Under_Blade), who's telling the same story as in Basilisk? It's very recommandable.
a_nevels666
July 18, 2007, 05:50 PM
Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai Deeper Kyo.
I think Ninja Scroll was inspired by the same novel as Basilisk.
The author of Basilisk has done several other samurai/ninja manga as well, just google it.

Well, I do have Monthly Shonen Gangan raws. Each issue is about 900+ pages long. If I were to scan each issue, I'd be using up three hours of my life just scanning, and that doesn't even include removing the pages from their binding. I tried doing a scan dump once, and it was just time-consuming (900+ pages obviously), even with an automatic feed functionality. So I decided to scan various manga chapters from the magazine for people to look and see what's worth their time reading. I can do a scan dump of the issue, but for a cost for service obviously... either money or maybe translations of one or two manga chapters per scan dump (or am I too forgiving)?

Actually, there is one done by the same people who did Basilisk.
It is an on-going series, called Y+M or The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls (cover pic below). The plot is similar to basilisk - group vs group.

This has been licenced by Del-Ray recently, but if you want to get a feel of the story, you can try Genesis. (http://www.genesis-scanlations.com/) :amuse

I'm surprised that Shonen Sunday isn't as popular to scan. It has Kekkashi, Gash Bell, HSD Kenichi, Hayate no Gotuku, and Inyuasha. I know Jump has alot more Series that are popular, but these mangas are well drawn and good story lines as well.

Your in luck! I just recently torrented all of DBZ uncut. Go to
http://adbt.ath.cx/login.php and register and you'll find an uncut dbz torrent (about 68Gb worth of DBZ) on the site, 291 episodes, all have Japanese + German audio and 2/3 have english audio. Alternatively there is another DBZ torrent out there but you'll just have to search for it, try

Well Share is an improvement on WinNY in the sense that it's supposedly more secure, but I couldn't tell you personally since I've never had a problem using either. I'm not in Japan so I don't know what could be done to me either.

July 23, 2007, 12:28 AM
I was reading about it on Wiki, and there's a newer program called Perfect Dark, which is supposedly the successor of Share and WinNY. Don't know much about it though, since I can't read Japanese, lolz.
xi0
July 23, 2007, 01:23 AM
Yes, I've used perfect dark as well. It's another one of these programs that is supposed to EVENTUALLY succeed WinNY but it's still new. More and more people are starting to use Share because of the arrests that were made a while back because it is more secure and anonymous.

Maybe Genesis site isn't working at the moment.

I was planning to, once the new issue came out. Something problematic about that, though, is that RAW placement seems to be all over the place on the forums. If you only read the RAW subforums, you'd never know there were RAWs in the shonen discussion forum.

Hey, can you help me out in finding some interesting romantic mangas? I especially love the age difference love stories where a younger man falls in love with an older woman. I read the ‘Onegai Manga’ and loved it very much. Now I am looking for other romantic mangas of ‘younger boy older girl’ love stories. Can you suggest me the mangas of this type and tell me where I can find those? It would be a great help for me.

I hate it too, but its extremely addicting. I have to find out what happens, even though something like this would never happen. Its just that I cant believe that so many girls go after him when he cant even make a single commitment, and whenever somebody goes after one of his girls, he gets extremely jealous. What an idiot, hes not really a bad person though.

You can try Bastard! if you like. It's a shonen that became a seinen in time, and it's wacky at times, but you'd probably still like it as it is hardcore fantasy.
Blue Dragon had a lot of fantasy as well - so does Inu Yasha (though get prepared for a very long series) and there's also Beet the Vandel Buster, which was inspired by the Dragon Quest RPG series. And then there's the Record of Lodoss War, although I've only seen the anime and not read the manga.
I really haven't seen that many fantasy-oriented series myself, though. Which surprises me as well. Berserk is probably the best fantasy series I've read so far.
eternalmetal
October 04, 2007, 06:55 PM
Bastard sounds a little too hardcore fantasy to me. Its just that I was looking for something adventerous and cool, with a bit of fantasy elements.
I have seen some of Beet the Vandal Buster's anime, and I have to say it was dissapointing. Characters were one dimensional and it was too straightforward, I stopped after x episodes.
So anyways, thanks for the suggestions.
Since I made this post, ive read Ichigo 100% (all 19 volumes) and kind of need a bit of relaxing from manga for a bit. Even though it was a shounen, it was kinda emotional to me (how lame, lol).

Huh... I'm not sure if I'm doing this right, since it's my first time asking for anything, but I dunno where else to ask for help with this. I've recently taken a liking to manga adaptations of games I like (again, thanks to my brother. Sometimes I wonder if I'd be such a manga fanatic if I wasn't his sister...), and I've been searching for the mangas of Tales of eternia, Radiata Stories and Legend of Mana. I did get some results, but I was wondering if someone can help find a place where I can get more of those mangas than what I could find with Google, even if it's RAW.
What I got was: Tales of Eternia up to Volume 05 chapter 24, Legend of Mana up to Volume 3 and Radiata Stories: The Epic of Jack, just the first 4 chapters. Is this really all there is on the web? I'd deeply appreciate any help at all. Thanks a lot.

Well let´s see, there are two kinds of Romance manga:Shonen(with male lead) or Shoujo(girl lead), i prefere shonen but i read Shoujo as well.
I will put here my favorite ones by preference order.
Shonen:
1st * Unbalance X Unbalance(46 chapters - On going)
2nd * Haru yo Koi(68 chapters - On going)
3rd * Suzuka(166 chapters - Complete)
4th * Ichigo 100%(167 chapters - Complete)
5th * I´s(15 volumes - Complete)
6th * Video Girl ai(15 volumes - Complete)
7th * Rough(1 volumes - Complete)
8th * Pastel(14 volumes - On going)
9th * Open Sesame(14 volumes - On going)
10th* Yume de Aetara(8 volumes - On going)
Shoujo:
1st * Lovely Complex(8 volumes - On going)
2nd * Nana(18 volumes - On going)
3rd * Good Morning Call(11 volumes - On going)
4th * Hana Kimi (23 volumes - Complete)
5th * Karekano(Complete)
6th * Uwasa no Midori-kun(13 chapters - On going)

Hmm. Lol First of all, Thanks. So leaving out the ones that I have read already, that leaves..
quite a few :D I have read Suzuka, Ichigo 100%, I's, Hana Kimi and Kare Kano, but I do think that Suzuka was my favourite out of those. The thing is, I like reading completed manga so I don't have to have the terrifying wait for however long the next chapter takes to arrive.. read 5 minutes, and then have to wait again XD. But if possible, can you tell me if any of these are similar to Suzuka?
Sorata
October 11, 2007, 04:29 PM
Video Girl Ai is from the same mangaka as DNA2(don´t know if you already read), are both good mangas, the story is from the same style as Suzuka but with a bit of SciFi(but just the introduction), well the ones that are more like Suzuka are Open Sesame and Pastel but those are not completed. My favorite one Unbalance X Unbalance is a stroy about a student and his teacher, very very good.
I know of great completed shonen romances but shorter than 150 chapters lolol:
DNA2(the same mangaka as video girl ai)
Parallel(this one is very simillar to Suzuka but it´s only 5 volumes)
Fruits Basket(it´s good but the main point isn´t the romance)
Touch(the first great work from Rough´s mangaka, but i still find Rough better)
School Rumble(the same as Fruit Basket, great but the main point isn´t the romance)
Ah! Megami Sama(is good but a bit cliché)
Meteru no Kimochi(a bit echi manga with only 27 chapters)
The ones i said up there only School Rumble isn´t completed.
There is a 2 volume manga by the same mangaka as Ichigo 100% very good but i can´t remember the name, is about a kid who falls in love with a succubus who breeds on his life force all the time.

I do read a few game-based mangas, but they are from female-targeted manga magazine B's Log, not shonen's ones. Strangely there is one manga, Togainu no Chi, which is quite off from female manga and closer to shonen or even seinen. There is no BL in the manga that the PS2 game is classified under, but has its share of violence though.

If you are talking about the game manga as you mentioned . . . (meaning ToE for one. That's the only one I know) . . . then yeah, that's all.
If you are talking about other game manga, NO! I got lots more than that! (yep, since I am translator for game-based manga, especially Tales series and occasionally Kingdom Hearts as well, I do have lots of RAW to translate with) I can ensure you that more can be find than what you have. X3
Search, search, search . . . even though I'm going to tell you that Google didn't help me much with Tales series manga, I would say, just give in more effort. X3

Eternia v5 c24 was released by Cabbit a while ago (becire they split), and Boku-tachi has not decided to "skip" to 25. So for ToE, you'll have to wait until Boku-Tachi catches up (which will take a while).
I'm pretty sure there's no other group at the moment that scanlates ToE...

its about a boy finding a dog that is half dog half wolf, he then puts the dog in a series of fighting matches against other crazy dogs. One fight scene I remember is him having to fight another dog that had a rock? implanted in his forehead so that he can hit extra hard but at the end the dog lost because the half wolf had knocked the rock out of his head. the half wolf half dog also have a bulldog thats missing a leg and a eye as his friend...

I don't know. I can't read Chinese at all :p
It was just an idea, since the Chinese scanlators have a lot series online which where published in Chinese at some point. Usually easy to find when you know the Chinese title. I just looked but can only find the Japanese one, sorry.

Hi, does anyone have any suggestions for manga with an awesome male protagonist, that's preferably finished and is seinen (though shonen is fine to)?
I have read or am reading Parasyte, Gantz, Battle Royale, Ubel Blatt (really liked the preceding), Bleach and Superior. I will be reading Berserk and Blade of the Immortal
Heres a list of awesome male protaginists from Anime (and manga incidentally)
Rurouni Kenshin - Kenshin (both Battōsai/benevolent hero personas)
Trigun - Vash
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Kyon
Kanon 06 - Yuichi
Clannad - Tomoya
Kaze no Stigma
GetBackers - Ban-chan
Hellsing - Alucard
Black Cat - Train Heartnet
Gundam Wing - Heero Yuy
Code Geass- Lelouch Lamperouge
Death Note - Light
Area 88 - Shin Kazama
Bleach - Ichigo
Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny - Kira. Arguable, but he does have his moments, especially in Destiny.
Tokko - Ranmaru Shindo
Gantz - Kei Kurono. The anime ended before Kei really stepped up, also he wasn't as much of a pervert in the manga.
Full Metal Panic - Sousuke Sagara. He's awesomeness in combat makes up for his awkwardness.
Gurren Lagann - Simon and Kamina
Fullmetal Alchemist - Edward Elric
D.Gray-man - Allen Walker
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi - Kenichi. Just makes the list.
Spiral - Narumi Ayumu
Darker than Black - Hei
Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto - Akitsuki
Devil May Cry - Dante
Gankutsuou - The Count
Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni - Keiichi (especially Kei)
Sōkyū no Fafner: Dead Aggressor - Kazuki Makabe
Thanks.

By leads, I meant lead. I'm looking for pretty much any good manga, that is easy to find on the internet and is preferably completed. The only criteria is that the protagonist is male and is awesome (so no stupidity, pervetedness, etc.). It would be nice if it was seinen.
I have read or am reading Parasyte, Gantz, Battle Royale, Ubel Blatt, Ares, Hellsing, Highschool of the Dead, (really liked the preceding), Shin Angyo Onshi, Bleach and Superior. I will be reading Berserk and I don't really like the guy from Blade of the Immortal

Jiraishin - the protagonist more son of a bitch I know. He's a coldblood detective.

I'm looking for suggestions for shonen that do have romantic relationships or hints of them developing between usually the main characters and others. Can't say I've read tons of them, but I've read some and enjoyed them more than straight action shonen.

Anyone know of any good horror manga that have scanlations available? I just finished reading "Gyo", and I was thuroughly impressed. I find myself wanting to read more horror, preferably something gruesome like "Gyo."
Short stories and long series are both welcome. So, MH, help?

Do you want a manga that is finished already, or one that's still ongoing?
I would recommend you Embaling, from the new SQ magazine...it's at chapter 2...
and since it seems that the 3rd SQ is out, the 3rd chapter will come out soon...
SQ is but just monthly :(
and there's Psyren - it's on chapter 5 and it's weekly...
but generaly i'd recommend Hellsing! - but well, i don't even now which genre you prefer...
so, how if you'd tell us your favorite Genre first?

Hello all!~~ Happy new year. I have been coming to mangahelpers since about a year or two ago but never used the forums (T.T) and i am in need of help.
I have become addicted to delinquent mangas such as GTO and WORST and i was wondering if there were any new/scanlated mangas that are such as these titles. I live comedy and action infused and not just the violence. I hope somebody can tell me some good titles. Thank you and have a nice day (b^.^)b

Hi ToBo the first answer that comes to my mind is AKIRA, it's the first manga I read (a looong time ago) and also one of the best in history! You can also give a try to classical material such Rokudenashi blues or sanctuary if you like yakuza(I only know about the old stuff...). But I admit it's hard too find a baddass like Onizuka!
Bonne Année à tous!

you might want to try reading GTO (great teacher onizuka), its pretty funny and it's a change from the actiony manga. Kekkaishi and Mx0 are sorta new but good, both are ongoing
GTO -> 200ish chapters
Kekkaishi -> 114 chapters scanlated so far
Mx0 -> 70ish chapters scanlated if i recall

Yeh, i want complete reading a series with whatever time i have left of my holiday. I've read quite a few series already, which i'll mentiion at the end of the post. My taste's are towards action, adventure type manga with a little comedy in it.
series ive read/ reading:
- One Piece
- Naruto
- Bleach
- Eyeshiled 21
- Hunter x Hunter
- Kekkaishi
- Mx0
- Vagabond
- Berserk
- Gantz
- Ruroni Kenshin (read long tim ago so i forgot how to spell this properly)
- Basilisk
- 666Satan
- Air Gear
- Detective Conan (ive only read p to 43rd volume)
- D. Grayman
- Fairy Tail
- Flame of Recca (only tried it and didnt like it)
- Hajime no Ippo
- Battle Royale
- Prince of Tennis (i stopped at chapter 300 or so)
- Bowling King (I read whatever was on onemanga at the time)
- Yakitatte!! Japan (chapter 194 i think)
theres probably some more i missed but this is probably more than enough to get the jist of it. Thanks for any recommendations ^^

Basilisk - Crazy ninja fighting and such, I never read the manga but its supposed to be better than the already good anime.
Eternal Sabbath - Maybe a bit too seinen considering the rest of the manga you enjoy, but is very interesting nontheless. A bit psychological, but is definitely fun to read.
Death Note - I am sure you have heard of it, but its definitely top class stuff. Mystery/suspense at it's best.
Black Cat - Definitely an excellent shounen. Considering the rest of the manga you read, this one is high on my recommendations. If you saw the anime and was a bit dissapointed, the manga is a whole lot better. I couldnt even get past episode 6 of the anime. Super confusing and hard to follow.
Getbackers - Havent read it, but I hear really good things about it. I watched about 15 episodes or so of the anime and it seems like it would make a better manga. Typing this makes me want to reconsider watching or reading it.
Full Metal Alchemist - You must have forgot to add this to your list, definitely a must watch if you enjoy manga at all. Its still ongoing, but it is absolutely necessary that any fan of anime/manga see/read this.
Rave Master - If you enjoy Fairy Tail, it couldnt hurt to check out the mangaka's previous work. I only read the first 4 volumes, but it was fairly good. Not ground-breaking, but enjoyable for a shounen title.
Shin Angyo Onshi - Its not finished being scanlated, but it is technically complete. This is probably in my top 2 or 3 best manga of all time list, up with Vagabond and Gantz. Incredible art, equally great story, plot-twists, etc. I know how you feel about reading unfinished manga (I almost always never finish them, so its mostly all I read anymore either), but I just had to throw this one out there.
I think that should be enough recommendations for now. All very enjoyable manga, I am sure you will enjoy at least one of them. If you need summaries, I am sure you know of animenewsnetwork.com.

I assume you're looking for one shots, then? Those are typically one long chapter for the entire story. I don't really know of any 1 volume mangas, though. :/
Your best bet is to go to the R/T/S forum (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=128) and sort by the prefix "One Shot." You can also go to the Old R/T/S Threads forum (http://mangahelpers.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=419) and sort by the prefix "One shot" there, if you're looking for quick reads =)

Thank you very much for your help! I hope that there are also one shots which are very long to read. The only thing important for me is that if you buy just one released book that you have the whole story in it. So it is handy for me because it takes so long to wait for releases and everything.

Newest CLAMP's work, Kobato.
Its genre are Comedy, Seinen.
Synopsis:
Hanato Kobato is a cute girl who has a mission: fill up a mysterious bottle she carries with her in order to grant her wish. For that mission, she's counting with Ioryogi's help, a little blue dog who seems very cute but who has a terrible foul mouth and bad manners. Now, Kobato-chan has to heal the people whose hearts are wounded. The only problem is that she doesn't really know how to do it. The more people/hearts she heals, the more her bottle fills itself. She only needs to take care to not fall in love with the person she's healing.
For what purpose Kobato needs to fill that bottle? Who sent her for this mission? Will she succeed?

I do not know if you will like it but if you want to read a poetical, cute, lovely, sad and funny manga, I recommend Chobits from Clamp.
If you wanna read a manga that seems to fit better to your already listed series in my opinion, then read Peacemaker (resp. Peacemaker Kurogane) although it will be hard to find it online.

Im am currently or have recently read the following series. Bleach, naruto, one piece, DGM, fairy tail, rave master, hikaru no go, death note, black cat, hunter x hunter, shamn king, yu yu hakaso, and a few more i cant remember...
Blk cat, HXH, rave master, and hikaru no go were my favorites.
Care to recomend a good manga that you think i would like?
(As you may be able to tell, or not, i dont like mangas where bodies are really outa proportion and i really really really love the mangas with great art work)
PS i say were to HXH cause i consider it over seeing as i havent seen any new chapters (Correct me on that if im wrong)
PPS Anyone have or is interested in transtating Rave master? because i have all the raws i just dont have any scans past 26(?) i belive.

Rave Master did have some questionable artwork in especially the first volume tough :p
Also it isn't as much in the lines of the manga's above but you might like Katekyo Hitman Reborn! In the beginning it's mainly just (a medium-core) comedy plot but it gets better later on...
not really similar either but maybe the closest to Death Note is Monster which also is centred around a cat and mouse game same as in Death Note, but approached very different. Masterly written tough.
Also Full Metal Alchemist is quitte good, can't really pinpoint the best aspect of it so I'll just say everything ;)
Speaking of good artwork recently started is Deadman Wonderland with some really nice work and a good story as well :p

I'd also recommend Fullmetal Alchemist and Slam Dunk. If you're the type who just loves humor then Gintama is absolutely a must, but I would recommend watching its anime first if you have the time since the seiyuus are just excellent.
And if you are willing to read good manga, I'd also recommend Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. At first it might seem somewhat childish and boring, but believe me it's worth it. And along with TRC goes xxxHOLIC. Mant don't find holic any interesting on it's own, but they read it since it explains some of the things in TRC (and it does get pretty interesting later on :)).
Just my two (long) cents.

Ha ha - I was going to suggest 'Black Cat' as well. 'Akira' is old but good as well, 'Death Note' has nice artwork. Basilisk is awesome, even though it is based off an anime. There are some manga adaptations of 'Samurai Chaploo' and 'Cowboy Bebop' which are funny but I don't know what's up with them in terms of one shot or not.
There is an awesome Batman manga called 'Child of Dreams'. It's done by Kia Asamiya.

I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this, and apologize if it isn't, but i can't seem to find the right thread.
Anyway, I just finished reading Ichigo100% and Suzuka, and was wondering if anyone could suggest a similar manga for me to read next. To be more specific, I would like it to be more of a school setting, preferably high school or college, please no vampire or fantasy setting, ecchi is also ok. The plot should be similar to the two manga above, where a guy is surrounded by girls and don't know which one to pick. And preferably if the series was 50+ chapters.
I also read love hina. Thanks for the help.

i want to know if this one manga has gotten farther along in its scans because when i read it, it was really good but with few/non-frequent/differing groups/ scanning it
I dont know about my description but this is from what i remember.
A young girl whose normal, wakes up one night/morning (forget) and finds her whole family slaughtered with her the only one alive with minor injuries (maybe a head injury i don't know, or it might have been she had none, also i think she thought she died like got sliced in half?). It just so happens that the police suspect her and put her into a secret prison cell. She finds out she killed her family with some monster that lives inside of her that reacts to emotions.
So thats as broad i can get without getting to far into the storyline, i can mention certain arcs within the series if needed and see if that helps people.
And no it isn't kiseijuu(parasite) which is also a really great manga but in that one the thing in the person is a seperate entity
if u need more specifics, she ends up working for some researchers that help her understand whats happening to her and not go mad and let it take over her, and so she hunts similar monsters and a few chapters later she finds out the monsters shes hunting are like her, but they weren't able to repress the disease
Yeah thats right it affects her right or left arm only

Well, you have Berserk. It's drawn in a realistic way and its story is pretty realistic for the first 13 volumes (not sure about the volume number) except for some parts. After that point of the story it becomes all fantasy but the style is still the same (though the chances of you not knowing this manga is slim).

Yes. I'm reading that. By Nobuyuki Fukumoto & Kawaguchi Kaiji. Two great seinen mangaka in my opinion.
You should try "Confessions". Its a 1-volume manga by both of them.
Plot
You know those situations when people confess their darkest secrets before dying? Right, a guy in a similar situation confesses to murder. Only to find out that
a) He's not going to die
b) The only guy who heard his confession is his best friend
c) The two of them are isolated in a cabin far away from civilisation
d) Both of them are driven to paranoia.
I also recommend "Spirit of the Sun" by Kawaguchi Kaiji.
Plot
Japan gets hit by a series of natural disasters and the government is crippled. In response, China & US began occupying...,"giving foreign aid" to the nation. The story takes place several years after the incident, with a Japanese refugee in Taiwan who lost his memory.
Volume 1 is the prologue might be a bit overwhelming. The real story starts with Volume 2.

What about Masanori Morita's works:
This is from Rookies - there're great motto here and there through the story and they gave me such an inspiration, so, I really recommend this one to you.
http://img34.onemanga.com/mangas/00000414/000037891/08.jpg
Most of his stories are heroic-style like (maybe you've heard of his famous Rokudenashi Blues?) but his drawing is very beautifully realistic.
FYI: His recent work is Beshari Gurashi - it's five-volumes manga about the boys who dream to be a professional joke-teller. I haven't read it though, but I saw his realistic drawing improve a lot.
--
Also the works by Tsukasa Hojo (he was Inoue Takehiko's mentor), his past famous works are City Hunter and Cat's Eyes. The drawing wasn't quite realistic in both stories, it has just started to get awesome in any work after City Hunter.
With him I recommend F. Compo and Angel Heart.
Hojo's lines in Angel Heart:

This is the story of a very smart student called Hirama Ren who is used to always getting the top results in his school, and is the chairman of the student's council. One day, he walks past a group of bullies and asks them to leave--and because of that, they decide to teach him a lesson. They decide to beat up a couple of guys and they reported it to the teachers, blaming him.
Hirama becomes enraged by it and and so he decides to attain some power that could allow him to change the world to a world that he wanted...one without such pathetic people..the people who hides from responsibilities, look for shelter from others when in trouble, etc.
Coincidentally, his vice-chairperson called him and asked if he was fine with her inviting a hypnotist for some event at school to hype up the school population. He thought it might be THE ability that he was looking for, so he agreed to it. During the "trial" test of the hypnotist's ability, he set up some plan and later on used it to test if hypnosis was able to hypnotise people who were avoiding it. With his new found knowledge, how will Hirama use this new power to reshape the world?

This works. But the 8 pages drown out some lesser known ones which I know are good. (I actually took the time to read all 8-9 pages) So thats why no one uses them I suppose.
The occasional underrated series will appear and drown beneath the hundreds of posts in one thread. If there are 10 pages of suggestions, people will read say pages 1-3 or pages 8-10.
So, anyhow. How are the ones we recommended? Any good?

hi, hello & how do u do? :)
this is my first post here in mangahelpers, so please excuse me if i happen to make any mistake. :)
talking about Shigurui, u can find out more atWikipedia. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shigurui) if u like to read the first volume, u can download it via Kotonoha's website. (http://kotonoha.monkey-pirate.com/ongoing-series/shigurui/) i think they've done a very good job scanlating the series that is so difficult to get. just like many other seinen series such as Ichi the Killer, Blade of The Immortal, this one is as violent as any seinen series can get. however don't let the gore deter u from enjoying its art, storyline, historical fiction settings etc. if u like Samurai Executioner & Lone Wolf and Cub, u'll definitely like Shigurui. deep! :D
