Title: "We Were Happy Then"
Type: Poem
Description: the story of how even if love doesn't work how you would like if it's true then you should keep trying and hope that if your lost, it's not for long.
If you loved me
Why would you leave me?
If you went
Where would you go?
If you were lost in the night
I would hold a lantern
To guide you
I would show you the way to your home.
If in the light you were
Tired and frightened
I'd carry you
Through the bleak snow.
If the creature under your bed
Came out to bite you
I'd fight it and pull off it's ear
And scare it off without fear.
But if you leave I can't help you
If you leave I can't make you a god.
If you leave I can't see the future,
And then I can't do any good.
A stranger told me he saw you
Down by the beach, near the bay
He said you'd been crying your eyes out
For several miserable days.
I wish I could be there and comfort you
But you left me and
Went on your way.
A witch told me you'd asked her
To heal all the pain in your heart,
She told you to follow your path back
Right back to the very start.
The rain clouds whispered to me
Of your failure,
How you were lost
In the night and the dark.
So I set out with my
Lantern and matches,
My map, my goal and my will.
I found you lost deep in the forest
And winter began to close in.
The morning came too
And snow piled three feet and a few,
You couldn't walk and were frightened
That you would never see our home,
So I put you onto my shoulders
And carried you on through the storm.
The rain clouds bid us good future.
The witch kissed you good bye.
The stranger packed up your belongings
And we strove to be there on time.
Our home had been ravaged by creatures
That had been hiding under your bed.
We fought Them together till
At last the summer dried them within.
Our house is rebuilt now and we're happy
But the creatures
Had nowhere to go,
So we put them back under your bed
But that was a long time ago
Before now when we have neither
Sun nor snow,
Now you're never frightened
And the rain clouds never show.
Title: "Darkhearts's Failure"
Type: Poem
Description: how one man can ruin everything just by trying to hard. (and yes the spelling is right all the way through it's supposed to be spelt like that)
The armour's rusted
The tin-man's stopped,
The living heart starts bleeding.
The tired eyes,
The cold-boned hands,
The new-born child starts weeping.
The lion roars,
The fire burns,
The courage becomes grieving.
A pretty face,
A darkened smile,
The sadness follows through.
A hundred days.
A thousand nights,
The sorrow shades the light.
The lady turned,
And walked away,
And the beating heart starts bleeding.
A solid wall,
A barrier built,
To separate the two.
The lion’s sleeping,
The fire’s damp,
The grieving becomes hatred
The candle’s lit
The darkness fades,
The mind clears and hardens.
The anger forms,
The blade is drawn.
The fighting man has fallen.
The armour’s rusted,
The colour’s gone,
The shining knight is dull.
The tin-man’s stopped,
The cog’s are broken,
The heart’s been left behind.
The pretty face,
The fallen smile,
The maiden’s fallen dead.
The cold Darkheart,
The matchless strength,
The anger becomes grieving.
The Moon's Curse
Type: Short Story
Description: It’s a short story with original characters created by myself about a lonely boy, a wolf and the moon’s curse.
I was sitting in a meadow, just sitting with my legs folded and my hands on them and listening. What I was listening for I didn’t comprehend. I heard the river trickling waters as they flowed by on my left and the trees dancing to the soft wind. It was the poem that finally caught my interest, a song of warmth and love, the protective moon spirit and its people. Their ultimate mistake and a maidens sacrifice.
‘The moon will shine,
Upon its followers protection most divine,
The moon will accept their wine,
Of the villagers labours combined,’
I didn’t move, I just sat right there listening to the verses spoken by the maiden who now appeared in front of me. She stopped at the first verse grinning at me playfully like I was an old friend. Her clothes were of another time, robes which gave of a sad festive feel of a pure white fabric. Sacrificial robes, I was sure they were, and this girl in front of me, no older than sixteen had saved her whole tribe.
“Find the moon’s tear, and I’ll be free,” she smiled sadly her waist long silvery hair swishing delicately behind her. Her eyes shone tired and yet hopeful.
“Kazu, get down here!” a voice called beyond the horizon and I woke up with a start the image of the girl’s hopeful smile burned in my mind.
I could’ve sworn though, that her eyes radiated with a brilliant golden yellow flame. I could only remember her beautiful exotic face, and the rest slipped my mind. I trudged out of my bed grabbing any kind of clothing within a few metre radiuses and ran down for my usual chores. My aunt shrieked a few angry while my cousins snickered at me. Sophie the youngest, a fourteen year old sweetheart shot me a sympathetic look. Her brothers Edgar, fifteen, and Faust, eighteen, at the most shot me a fist or two.
I was a well-built seventeen year old boy who could easily take them on but it always resulted in a no dinner issue from their father, their mother though seemed to despise me as if I had the black plague. So to please the household, I took on most of the chores around the farm they lived in which kept me well trained so it was not that bad, and stopped indulging the brothers in fights as it got me nowhere. This didn’t stop them from teasing and making sarcastic remarks.
Dinner that evening was no different; a quick bath after tending the horses regenerated me. I wondered for the millionth time if the animals where my only companions as I came down to find their gazes on me filled with contempt. And today it was certain the last straw would be drawn as I sat down taking a deep breath to get this over and down with.
“Look at him, a no good like his mother,” Aunt Gretchel shook her head picking on me and not even the first plate had been done with , “Got his father killed for her sake,”
“Mother please,” Sophie pleaded as her brothers laughed cruelly. I clearly remembered my mother treating her like a daughter of her own. Her mother didn’t have much regards for her and left her in the care of mine more often than not.
“My brother would have been better off without her,” Uncle Berry grumbled loudly, “Dying like the lovesick fool he was! For that peasant woman,”
“She died of scarlet fever!” I spat banging my fists on the table, my soup flying onto the floor. Didn’t taste like much anyway, I was pretty sure she just gave me water more than soup.
“And my father was ten times the man you were,” I snapped moving angrily towards my room which really was the basement, “thank you for all the misery you gave me these last 4 years, goodbye!”
I grabbed my few belongings and stuck them in my rucksack and left just like that. In four years I had sat down at took it all, today I rebelled and it felt good, I felt amazingly alive for once in four long years. They didn’t react until I was halfway off their land; Uncle came out shouting obscenities about gratitude and breaking Aunt Gretchel’s generous heart.
“More like hairy rotten one,” I murmured angrily as light footsteps came up to me.
“You can’t come with me Sophie,” I patted her head affectionately my one true friend in that wretched farm, “I have no idea what I am going to do with my life now,”
Her sweet hazel eyes looked right into mine, “They don’t want me and you know that,”
I looked back and saw no one coming after her, surely by now they noticed their youngest gone? But then again Uncle Berry never wanted a daughter and Aunt Gretchel never as much looked at her once.
“Come on then,” I said with one last ruffle at her soft brown her. I chuckled at how this girl half my size could play me so well and knew she would be a great help.
We walked into the forest for what seemed like hours, jumping down rocks, lifting many a branch out of the way until the moon had set itself in its rightful place above us and still we could not find the path into town when something extraordinary happened. A beautiful wolf with a clean silver coat and knowing golden yellow eyes trotted to a stop in front of us. I looked into its brilliant eyes and it smiled at me, I heard Sophie gasp as it lifted it snout to the new moon howled a song, the song from my dream.
“You’re…” I whispered as the creature walked up to me and she nodded smiling once more. She turned around and started moving to our right, and then stopped looking at us as if we had to follow.
Sophie grabbed my arm gently and pulled towards the wolf and we followed trusting our instinct and the gorgeous animal. Not only was this beauty the animal we had once rescued from a hunter’s trap but also I was sure of it; the maiden of my dreams.
The she-wolf stopped at the entrance of a cave and then spoke much to our surprise, “I have been cursed to take this form for eternity due to my people’s blasphemy,”
“My brother, the future chief, took from the moon the treasure bestowed to our people, a tear drop of the moon itself, the sacred moonstone,” the wolf explained sadly, “It took me many centuries to find it but alas he was a great shaman of our tribe, the moon tribe, and he has left us three challenges to get to the moonstone,”
A silent pause followed as she sighed and tried to get her emotions in check.
“The moon accepted me as her daughter in exchange for forgiveness,” she recalled the ancient time now past, “Until the moonstone is in the hands of its rightful heir, I will walk these lands as a wolf, never aging,”
“We will gladly help you my princess,” I said without hesitation and glanced at Sophie who winked happily at me excited at the prospect of some adventure.
“Thank you my brave warrior,” the wolf said, “and of course thank you as well young priestess,”
We travelled deep inside the magical cave as torches flared up at our every step. The wolf and I talked a great deal, but she would not reveal to me her name saying it was not the time yet. It was definitely the right place though, I could feel a great power surging from every inch of the cave and soon we were hindered by a door with intricate designs of flowers and vines.
A winged cat then stepped down in front of the door shocked at the sight of visitors, “Why this is a surprise, I have not seen a challenger in the last hundred years,”
He motioned at the skeleton slumped by the cave wall next to the door as we all shuddered wondering what kind of test was in serve for us.
“Stubborn fellow really, wouldn’t accept defeat poor chump,” the black cat told us flying close to our faces to get a better look.
“I see young priestess you finally found the perfect companions?” he laughed excitedly landing on a piece of protruding rock by the huge door.
“I am sphinx, if you can answer my one question, just one,” he snickered wickedly, “Well without losing yourself as old Billy here did, then you are all free to go,”
I swallowed my fear as I had never been a good student but I knew we could no longer turn back, glance at the wolf and my brave cousin I accepted the challenge.
“Very well then,” the cat grinned, “My voice is tender my waist is slender and I’m often invited to play. Yet wherever I go I must take my bow or else I have nothing to say. What am I?"
I looked at the wolf completely lost on what to say, I wasn’t one for brains work and the wolf shook her head apologetically. All seemed lost until my cousin chimed in happily.
“A violin,” Sophie smiled innocently and proceeded to explain to the dumbfounded Sphinx, “I’m quite a fan of riddles myself and by chance I also play the violin,”
The door made a load noise and started to move opening our way down another brightly lit tunnel which seemed to swerve at various points.
“By far, my young lady, you are the most interesting child I have ever met,” Sphinx responded intrigued, “Say, I have been this blasted door’s guardian for so long I can’t remember now, you have beaten me, and now I would like to pledge myself to you as your familiar, what you say?”
“I dare say it is an honor for this humble farm girl,” Sophie grinned happily as Sphinx jumped onto her shoulder.
“I always wanted to play a game of riddles with a worthy opponent,” Sphinx purred as Sophie scratched behind his ears as they set out for the next challenge.
This time they entered a room which was wide and could easily host a good game of soccer. At the end of the room was a similarly patterned door only this time it was of a bright blue colour.
“Sphinx, my friend it has been at least a thousand years,” a voice called playfully.
“Pegasus, its mighty fine to see you too,” Sphinx bowed at the horned stallion coming up to us.
We all blinked surprises at the beautiful black mustang with that single silver horn jutting out from its head.
I blinked and blurted confused, “I thought Pegasus as a winged horse,”
“Simple misunderstanding really,” The horse snorted, “He’s a distant relative of mine that fine sonny, and we were born on the same day and our mothers decided to name us Pegasus, those silly mares,”
“What may your challenge be?” the wolf interrupted surely eager to be rid of the curse.
“Oh yes, yes,” Pegasus whinnied a sort of laugh, “You have to catch me,”
At that he started galloping around the room and I gapped letting my jaw drop, both at the childish challenge and at the speed of the magnificent beast.
The wolf laughed and it came out as a raspy bark, “Leave this to me, I had to hunt for my food for a thousand years! This I can handle,”
She leaped gracefully after Pegasus following his every step, he tried to evade her but she mimicked perfectly his every move. Her eyes were shining with the ferocity and pride of the noble animal she had turned into many years prior. In a few more minutes she had cornered the stunned Pegasus who pouted as only a unicorn could at his defeat as the door gave way to our pack.
"Now though,” the kind wolf reassured after catching her breath, “You are free to find you kin,”
This seemed to brighten the Unicorns mood who bowed to them and made sure we would come by to visit him and his family when we passed by his forest.
“May you find happiness, oh Maiden of the moon,” He called behind us and trotted out of the cave to reunite with his family in the forest at last.
Our last challenged awaited us in the last room of the cave. Above a whole led to the outside where the moon could be seen shining its light into the musty cavern room right in the middle. It was filled to the brim with treasure and just in the middle of the room on an altar made of pure gold sat the gemstone lit by the light of the moon. And right next to the moonstone sitting on a throne radiating arrogance and greed sat a man with the same silver hair but cruel emerald eyes.
“Long time no see, oh valiant sister!” The man grinned, “welcome to the last challenge,”
“Kage! Brother because of your greed our tribe has died and I watched them fade one by one,” the wolf growled menacingly, “Do you even know what you have done? Do you even feel for our people?!”
“I feel naught for those moon devoted fools,” Kage spat, “I took what was rightfully mine,”
“You are nothing but a phantom now,” the wolf saddened a single tear making way down its muzzle.
“Enough nonsense!” he grabbed a sword and laughed maniacally, “You must face me, and tell me the name of my ‘beloved’ sister before I kill you!”
The word beloved came out as venom and I grew angry at his ignorance.
I instinctively grabbed the sword lying next to my feet; it was an old thing, an antique most probably, unlike the golden sword the mad man waved at my head. It must have belonged to a brave warrior as old and battered as it was it gave me strength and confidence.
“One on one, if anyone interferes then you lose,” he warned as he struck again.
My cousin and the she wolf watched concern on their pretty faces. As weird as it was to call a wolf pretty she was far more than that. I dodged a blow to my side and almost landed one of my own; I still smirked as a line of red appeared on his right arm, his sword arm, blood dirtying his fine king-like clothing.
As we exchanged blows I thought of this whole new adventure, the beautiful wolf and the moon, at first I thought it was rather selfish to take a girl for her own but then was it not only trying to protect her? The moon had taken the wolf as its daughter; I stepped on a necklace and fell right on my sorry bum as it finally came to me when I looked right into the wolf’s horror stricken eyes.
“Beautiful Moon,” I whispered, “Mizuki,”
“NOOOOOOO,” Kage screamed as he fell to his knees and evaporated with pained cries leaving only a pile of ash behind.
A blast of white light then hit the moonstone and a beautiful woman appeared before us.
“I am the spirit of the moon,” the ageless woman spoke, “You have done well my children,”
She wore a beautiful golden dress which must have been woven with the stars by the night sky for her. Her pale completion showed a gentle and loving soul as she motioned for Mizuki to come close which she did. Mizuki bowed in front of the moon spirit who took her head in her hands and kissed her forehead. Sophie and I who had moved in front of the goddess gasped as we witnessed Mizuki’s transformation from wolf to teenager.
“You are now free of your burden brave one,” she said in the most amazing voice I had ever heard, it was like the stars were talking all together in harmony.
She then took the moonstone in her palms and after another flash of light; she changed it into a necklace which she tied around Mizuki’s neck.
“The moonstone is now in the hands of the rightful heir,” she smiled and then pointed at me.
“Young man, take good care of my child and my husband’s sword,” the moon spirit said pointing to the sword which returned to its old splendour shining in all the colours of the moon’s consort.
“As for you, child,” The moon spirit then addressed Sophie, “Sphinx will watch over you and you will attain great fortune in times to come,”
And then bidding us farewell we all bowed to the moon spirit as she left to return to the skies. We never saw her again and maybe that is a good thing. Quickly we got out of the cave not taking anything but the moonstone necklace, the sword and Sphinx. Together as a happy family we journeyed to the town where the lot of us where sure we would live a happy and normal life. We would face many hardships but together we would overcome them I was sure as I held my love’s tender hand in my own.
The Chaosbringer
Type:Short Story
Description:A short story about a child born to be the vessel for the Devil's son and his destiny. The characters and story are original, created by myself. (in a lonely sunday when I had nothing to do.)
Chapter 1:
He was a renegade,a mystery of nature since the day he was born. The prophecy foretold the coming of the Chaosbringer,a child who'll have his soul possesed by the Devil's son.The prophecy also foretold that the woman who will give birth to this accursed child will endure great pain while giving birth to Chaosbringer, and that the pain will last three days and three nights, three days and three nights of torment. The Devil told this prophecy through a bird with feathers as black as the night. The prophecy was heard by everyone in the whole world(by some unknown magic)and it's voice echoed throughout the minds of every human in the world.
Knowing this, everyone was fearful for the come of Chaosbringer would mean the end of the world. So they were watching for the woman who will give birth to Chaosbringer.Everyone shared the same thought:to kill Chaosbringer right after he is born.Wicked are the minds of humans, for they were ready to kill a baby to save their hides.
A woman living in a small village, cut off from the rest of the world, was crying. She knew what will happen, because she had dreams that scared her.She saw a huge demon, without a face, scorching the earth and destroying everything, and that demon kept screaming her name. These dreams could ony mean one thing: she will be the one who will give birth to Chaosbringer. She too heard the prophecy spoken by the black-bird,but she never thought that she would be the damned one, because she led a normal life, made sins but also many good things. She was afraid, she didn't want to give birth to Chaosbringer,so she cursed him to have an unhappy life,to live ony for himself and fight only for himself. The villagers soon realised that she will be the one to give birth to Chaosbringer,so they banished her from the village.Without a home, she wandered through the jungle surrounding the village. She searched for a place to shelter herself. She found a cave, where, after three days and three nights of pain, she finally gave birth to Chaosbringer. The sky darkened, bolts of lightning arched in the sky,and thunders exploded above the cave in which Chaosbringer was being born. The villagers who casted away the woman, saw the unnatural explosion of nature forces and that a cave was surrounded by a black-red glow, and they felt a chill down their spine. They knew that Chaosbringer was being born there,so they casted away their fear, armed theirselves and marched towards the cave, hoping to kill Chaosbringer.Meanwhile,in the cave,Chaosbringer had finally been borned. The woman ran away from the cave, leaving the poor child to it's own. However, she was killed by the villagers coming to the cave. Then, they went inside the cave and saw a little baby in the center of the cave,on a rock. One of them mustered his courage and went near the baby.He raised his axe, ready to kill him, when he was suddenly struck by lightning!Other lightnings killed the rest of the villagers, leaving only ashes from them. This is how Chaosbringer was born in the world, hated by everyone, even his own mother, with no one to love him, doomed to be the one who will bring end to this world.
Chapter 2:
Even though he was just a baby,Chaosbringer was able to think, walk, behave like a full-grown up human.Even so,Chaosbringer was still a human,so he didn't know why his mother left him there alone,he didn't know why people attacked him,but he did know one thing:he feared death and he was the one who threw lightning at the villagers. He killed them, although he didn't know what he was doing. So Chaosbringer left the cave, and wandered in the jungle. He stepped inside the village, which was empty. He stayed there a whole week, thinking about everything. At the end of the week,Chaosbringer was already fifteen years old.In just one week he quickly rose to the age of 15.There was one more thing that marked him apart:he was born with white eyes, but he could still see everything perfectly. After staying in the village,Chaosbringer (who didn't know his name,he didn't know who he is) left the village, the jungle and wandered around the world, searching for clues about his destiny, and to discover himself.
During his travels,he met in the city of Angroth a blind woman, from which he heard the tale of Chaosbringer. His face darkened as he was listening to the blind woman, his eyes shined, and his mind was like a tornado. He wasn't stupid,he quickly noticed that he is Chaosbringer.Chaosbringer...So this was his name. And it looks like he will have his soul possesed by the Devil's son,and through his body the end of the world will come.Tears shined in the light of the moon on his face,as he heard the last words of the blind woman.A certain man noticed this, but didn't say anything at that time.Chaosbringer was confused,he didn't know what to do next,he was certain about only one thing:he will never allow himself to be possesed by the Devil's son. Then,a man named Egroeg, approached him and looked straight into Chaosbringer's white eyes. His green eyes met a pair of white eyes.Words were wasted, for the man felt that he must become this stranger's friend, because he saw pain in his eyes.Egroeg cunning as h was, noticed that the stranger in front of him is Chaosbringer, the damned one.He wasn't afraid of him, instead he felt pity towards Chaosbringer. He shared a similar fate to Chaosbringer,he too had a harsh life, and he knew the pain which Chaosbringer endured so he swore to stay by his side until the end of the world as his friend.Chaosbringer also swore the same thing to him,and that is how he found a very rare treasure,a true friend.
Fortunately, although the whole world knew that Chaosbringer was born, they didn't know who he is,what he looks like. They were thinking that he is somekind of demon, not a human like them. This is why Chaosbringer was able to roam the world freely. He left with his friend the city, after hearing rumours about a great oracle of the god Bankosen who can tell the future and lend advice to everyone about everything. They left for the oracle, hoping that it will tell them a way to change Chaosbringer's destiny. However, the location of the great temple in which the oracle resides was secret. The only ones who knew the location were the priests of Bankosen. So,Chaosbringer and Egroeg journeyed to a temple of Bankosen, where he spoke to a priest. The priest, however, noticed something strange about the man in front of him,and realised that he is Chaosbringer, the cursed one,so he refused to tell him where the great temple resides.Chaosbringer felt a rage growing inside him,and in his blind fury he killed the priest with his sword Alma. Thus, the first part of the prophecy was fulfilled:Chasobringer will kill a priest. However,he didn't do it by his own will. The Devil himself sent a fury genie inside him,and forced him to kill the priest. However,Chaosbringer felt guilty, and decided to cleanse himself of this sin by bathing in the river dedicated to Bankosen. So,together with his friend they went to the river, where Chaosbringer bathed and his sin was forgiven by Bankosen. In the end, they went to another temple of Bankosen, where Egroeg first went and talked to the priest.Egroeg chose the right words, and he found out where the great temple is:in the Alvanian Mountains,on the highest peak of the mountain in the center. To get there, they would need a magickal beast, the griffon. So they hurried towards the jungle of Crescoda. There, they saw many packs of griffons riding the air,but they were far too away from the ground. There was no way to catch them. But Egroeg knew that there is a trick to get a griffon down:to make a fire in which to burn the leaves of a pnagod tree.Thankfully, although these trees were pretty rare, they found one nearby. After awaiting the night,so that the griffons would notice the fire, they burned the leaves and smoke rose high into the sky.A griffon smelled the scent of the leaves, and hurried down near the fire. Then,Chaosbringer suddenly jumped from a nearby tree on the griffon's back. The griffon immediately flied up,and tried to make Chaosbringer lose his grip so that he'll fall down. But Chaosbringer had tightly gripped his feathers, and didn't let go.He struggled a whole day with the griffon, but in the end he finally tamed the animal. So,with a griffon to ride them, they went towards the Alvanian Mountains. In their way, huge vultures appeared, but Egroeg used his bow to take them down. When they finally reached the center, they saw on a peak the great temple of Bankosen, the war god.A guardian was standing near the gate. The griffon took them there, and after they touched the earth, the griffon howled and flew away from them, back to his home. The guardian was an old man, with a beard long as him.Chaosbringer and Egroeg approached the guardian, and asked him to let them inside. The old man quietly watched them, especially looking straight into Chaosbringer's white eyes. The old man said something, and the golden gate opened.Full of confidence, the two men stepped inside the great temple.Although outside it was very cold, inside the temple it was very warm. They were amazed by the temple,it's decorations and how beautiful it is.They entered a big hall,in which they saw something inside:a statue, with it's arms raised to the sky.The statue was standing on top of a big pool of water. The statue was golden, and they couldn't figure out if it is the statue of a man or woman. At the least,it seemed human. It's eyes were blue like the sky, contrasting with it's golden body.In front of the statue,a inscription was scribed unto the floor. They read it:"Those who wish to know the future and those who are troubled, must stand in front of the statue and cut their palm and let some blood drip in the pool. Then,if he wishes to,Bankosen will aid you".So Chaosbringer stood in front of the statue, cut his palm and let blood drip in the pool.Suddenly, the statue changed it's colour and became red, with black eyes.A voice echoed throughout the hall:"You have a though destiny,Chaosbringer. However, there is a way to prevent Viled to take over your soul:you must find the Sword of Suffering, and pierce Viled in his heart with the sword. Thus, not only would you save yourself, but also the rest of the world as well. The Sword of Suffering lies in the Forgotten Grotto, guarded by a demon.I wish you good luck and brave fights!".Chaosbringer as well Egroeg were confused. They understood almost everything except one thing:how to pierce the Devil's son because he didn't exist in this world,he resided in the Higher Planes of Hell. But,they decided not to think about it then.First and foremost, they must find the Sword of Suffering. So,after ten days and ten nights of travelling, they finally arrived at the Forgotten Grotto. They entered and immediately lost their vision:everything was black. They heard a howl, and Egroeg was punched by something. He flew in a wall.Chaosbringer shouted, but it looks like the darkness took not only their eyes, but their ears as well. Also,Egroeg found out that the darkness took almost every ability from them:their ability to see,to hear,to smell,to taste(he couldn't taste the blood that spilled from his mouth),but it didn't took them the ability to feel.Egroeg felt pain when the demon struck him.Chaosbringer swung his mighty sword around, hoping to cut the demon. However his sword didn't hit anything except air.The demon striked Chaosbringer as well, who fell on the ground.Egroeg realised that the only way to stop demon is by using their only ability left:to feel. The only way they can defeat the demon is to let him attack them, and when they are hit by him,to grab his arm,and never let go of it.So Egroeg rised from the ground, and stood up.The demon immediately rushed to him and tried to strike him with his arm. However,as soon as he felt the arm touching his chest,Egroeg quickly dodged the attacked and grabbed the demon's arm.Fortunately,it's size was that of a normal human arm.So Egroeg tightly grabbed his arm and tossed him to the ground, where he quickly grabbed his other arm and immobilized him.The demon was defeated,it had no way to escape the tight grip.So he shouted to let him go,because he proved that he is worthy enough to wield the Sword of Suffering. As soon as he let go of the demon, the darkness dissappeared, and their senses returned.Chaosbringer thanked Egroed, and went to take the Sword, which was floating in the air.The Sword was beatifully decorated with diamonds and precious stones. It was razor sharp, and had the ability to cut through anything.A battle was won,but the war wasn't over. They still had to pierce the Devil's son's heart with this sword.Chaosbringer felt that it is his duty to do this,so he told Egroeg to not help him in the battle he will have.
Chapter 3:
After a long stay in the Forgotten Grotto,Chaosbringer and Egroeg departed to the tower of Sadrax,an old mage, exiled because he learnt about the demon magic.Sadrax told them that there is a way to enter the Higher Planes of Hell:they can use a portal between the human world and Hell.He told them to prepare for what is worse, because no one had ever tried to enter Hell.Sadrax used his magic to conjure a portal to the Higher Planes of Hell.Chaosbringer and Egroeg stepped inside the portal without hesitation. However, even though they knew that Hell meant suffering, they weren't ready for the Higher Planes.Millions of demons were flying everywhere, and screams could be heard everywhere.Their numbers were overwhelming. But they weren't afraid, they came here prepared to die.A huge demon, made of fire, came before the two heroes, and asked them their names.Upon hearing that one of them is Chaosbringer, the demon howled and another portal appeared, and both Chaosbringer and Egroeg were thrown in the portal. They were transported to the palace of the Devil's son. They had no idea about the Devil's son appearance,so when they saw a normal human, they were shocked. The human was, without a doubt, the Devil's son.He grinned and welcomed the two men. Then,he was suddenly surrounded by a black-red aura, and he started to glow bright red.He transformed into his true form, that of a bat-demon.He was fully black, except his red eyes. His horns were pointing towards the sky.Fearless,Egroeg charged towards him, only to find himself flying through the air and hitting a wall. The hit was so powerful that he losed his consciousness.Chaosbringer stepped forward, and began his battle with the Devil's son.He used the Sword of Suffering with knowledge, dodged and blocked every attack. After a day of battle,he seized an opportunity, when Viled left himself open, and pierced his heart with the Sword of Suffering. The Devil's son screamed, and in a few seconds turned to ash.Chaosbringer was victorious. The battle was won.Exhausted,he wanted to wake up Egroeg to tell him the good news, but suddenly he also lost his consciousness.Though Chaosbringer didn't notice,Viled had poisoned him with the help of a small wisp. The poison was spreading throughout Chaosbringer's body, and soon he lost counsciousness.
Chaosbringer awoke in a house. He turned his eyes, and saw Egroeg near him.He smiled,he was relieved that Egroeg is well.He observed the room in which he awoke.A simple, white room. There was no furniture,no objects.Just two beds. Then,he realised that there is no door to this place. He watched in silence the white room for a few minutes, when,to his amaze, the walls simply crumbled and shattered. He was shocked to discover that they are standing on top of clouds. Then Xardas appeared. He was surrounded by a white aura, with lightning sparkling all around him.He smiled and said:I guess this is a shock for you.Though,I am sure that now you understand:you died, and this place can only be...
Title: "Empty, Empty"
Type: Poem
Description: This poem is about someone who lost someone important in life, and lost the meaning of life together with that person. Inspired by the latest episode of Steins;Gate (episode 19).
I stopped and turned around.
Eyes went wide in shock, tears overflowing in madness.
Desperately looking for something that was once here,
endlessly hoping to find a way to put the pieces back
in a place I could reach:
at this space I called home, at this hole you called heart.
I smiled bitterly, I laughed in despair.
You gave me my world; all the reason I needed to exist.
Those lovely hands showed me my place in this world
and taught me the real meaning of smiles and laughs.
It was the first time I thought myself worthy of living.
You, who had saved me from the edge of darkness;
my sun and my moon.
Then I was there,
powerless as I saw every tiny pieces of my life
flew high to the sky, never returned to me
as you walked out of my world.
My world was never the same one again, torn and shattered.
Everything was taken away from me!
Empty. It was all empty.
All that was left for me is loneliness,
as I drifted to the end of the world.
Empty, without you.
And so I embarked on a long, long journey
until I arrived at the place you could be found.
I was no longer bound to anything.
I would find you
and fix my world or enter the eternal slumber
with you.
Without fail.
A Darkness Inside
Type: Original Song
Description: Pretty much it is about the battle with your inner emotions
This path that we walk is getting shorter and Shorter
Yet I walk with a clear head and yet
You walk the opposite path.
I tried to reach for your hand but you were far beyond my reach
It's time for me to walk away
Down the path of the lost and confused
With no end in sight but only futile attempts
Waiting for someone to come around
and to just call my name
This hesitation of mine is what doomed us
These flaws will continue to haunt me
They are continueing to consume us.
and yet you were able to break free.
It's time for me to walk away
Down the path of the lost and confused
With no end in sight but only futile attempts
Waiting for someone to come around
and to just call my name
This darkness is surrounding me.
I want to break away but I am to weak
Every word spent is tearing away at me
my mind and soul is falling apart
It's time for me to walk away
Down the path of the lost and confused
With no end in sight but only futile attempts
Waiting for someone to come around
and to just call my name
Then in came a shimmering ray of hope
A hand reaches out to me
Maybe this hope will finally get me moving
The darkness is breaking and I am finally free
It's time for me to walk away
Down the path of the lost and confused
With no end in sight but only futile attempts
Waiting for someone to come around
and to just call my name
I am finally Free...
A Cheesy Love Song
Type: Original Song
Description: A Cheesy Love Song.... >...>
Here we lie tonight under the stars
We will fill the air with our words
Our Whispers will be our solace
We long for this everlasting night
Tonight is our night, our solemnity
Nothing will be left unfinished
The wind will carry my words
But will your ears hear my heart screaming.
As we walk down this dim litted street
Your smile will guide me as a beacon of hope
Yet will we walk this path together
Or will we be seperated by a fork in the road.
Tonight is our night, our solemnity
Nothing will be left unfinished
The wind will carry my words
But will your ears hear my heart screaming.
Will you notice my heart beating faster and faster
With each and every single step we take
down this dim litted path
where I am left breathless by this heroine
Tonight is our night, our solemnity
Nothing will be left unfinished
The wind will carry my words
But will your ears hear my heart screaming.
The Fallen Love
Type:Poem
Description:Well, this is a bit weird, the best description would be that this poem represents my feelings and thoughts, everything is original and created from my pure heart in a day when I was struck by sadness. Can't believe I made a poem so sad.
It is so cold outside
And it is so cold inside
How many times have I tried
To gain your love, too many times have I lied
I tried my best to comfort you
Yet you tried your best to push me away
I will never go away
My feelings are too strong for you
We see each other every day
We talk so casually,if I may say
But our eyes will always betray
The feelings within us,without delay
I helped you as best as I could
Yet you only see my mistakes
For me there is so much at stake
Yet you fail to see, even if you should
I wish you would understand me
And that you would come to me
Not like the usual way when to you I come
I wish you would greet me with a warmy 'Welcome'
I have lied countless times
Only because I was unable to play your games
Only because I couldn't say what I had to say
I have lied too many times
Sometimes you see my eyes and catch a glimpse at my feelings
And you wonder and ask me what is wrong with me
Unable to convey my true feelings,I lie and say
There is nothing wrong and you believe me
I dare not hope for this love because I am afraid
Afraid of failure and of the darkness that would seize me
If I would find out that you do not love me
So I prefer to stay away and calmly watch you
There are so many things I wish to do with you
Even though they are hopeless hopes I still dare to dream
That one day you would come to me and say what I have been waiting
The magical words that will heal my heart's wounds
And I hate that the person who can make me feel better
Is also the one who makes me cry
And I hate that the person who can make me happy
Is the sole reason for why I cry...
I was wondering why you would never talk to me
I came to realize that you don't want to be with me
At first, agony struck me,and my tears kept flowing
However I didn't despair and I finally saw it
That after all these years,I have finally realized that my love for you
Has far exceeded the limits of a normal, selfish love, that it has risen far above
To a state of a pure, angelic love, before I only wanted you to be with me
But now,my only aim is not to be with you,but to see you happy and surrounded by love
Even if you hate me
I will still love you
Even if you push me away
I will still help you
Even if you turn your back on me
I will still be here for you
For you all are for me
I shall be your unseen angel
That will always protect and love you

You, who had saved me from the edge of darkness;
my sun and my moon.
Then I was there,
powerless as I saw every tiny pieces of my life
flew high to the sky, never returned to me
as you walked out of my world.
My world was never the same one again, torn and shattered.
Everything was taken away from me!
Empty. It was all empty.
All that was left for me is loneliness,
as I drifted to the end of the world.
Empty, without you.
And so I embarked on a long, long journey
until I arrived at the place you could be found.
I was no longer bound to anything.
I would find you
and fix my world or enter the eternal slumber
with you.
Without fail.
A Darkness Inside
Type: Original Song
Description: Pretty much it is about the battle with your inner emotions
This path that we walk is getting shorter and Shorter
Yet I walk with a clear head and yet
You walk the opposite path.
I tried to reach for your hand but you were far beyond my reach
It's time for me to walk away
Down the path of the lost and confused
With no end in sight but only futile attempts
Waiting for someone to come around
and to just call my name
This hesitation of mine is what doomed us
These flaws will continue to haunt me
They are continueing to consume us.
and yet you were able to break free.
It's time for me to walk away
Down the path of the lost and confused
With no end in sight but only futile attempts
Waiting for someone to come around
and to just call my name
This darkness is surrounding me.
I want to break away but I am to weak
Every word spent is tearing away at me
my mind and soul is falling apart
It's time for me to walk away
Down the path of the lost and confused
With no end in sight but only futile attempts
Waiting for someone to come around
and to just call my name
Then in came a shimmering ray of hope
A hand reaches out to me
Maybe this hope will finally get me moving
The darkness is breaking and I am finally free
It's time for me to walk away
Down the path of the lost and confused
With no end in sight but only futile attempts
Waiting for someone to come around
and to just call my name
I am finally Free...
A Cheesy Love Song
Type: Original Song
Description: A Cheesy Love Song.... >...>
Here we lie tonight under the stars
We will fill the air with our words
Our Whispers will be our solace
We long for this everlasting night
Tonight is our night, our solemnity
Nothing will be left unfinished
The wind will carry my words
But will your ears hear my heart screaming.
As we walk down this dim litted street
Your smile will guide me as a beacon of hope
Yet will we walk this path together
Or will we be seperated by a fork in the road.
Tonight is our night, our solemnity
Nothing will be left unfinished
The wind will carry my words
But will your ears hear my heart screaming.
Will you notice my heart beating faster and faster
With each and every single step we take
down this dim litted path
where I am left breathless by this heroine
Tonight is our night, our solemnity
Nothing will be left unfinished
The wind will carry my words
But will your ears hear my heart screaming.
The Fallen Love
Type:Poem
Description:Well, this is a bit weird, the best description would be that this poem represents my feelings and thoughts, everything is original and created from my pure heart in a day when I was struck by sadness. Can't believe I made a poem so sad.
It is so cold outside
And it is so cold inside
How many times have I tried
To gain your love, too many times have I lied
I tried my best to comfort you
Yet you tried your best to push me away
I will never go away
My feelings are too strong for you
We see each other every day
We talk so casually,if I may say
But our eyes will always betray
The feelings within us,without delay
I helped you as best as I could
Yet you only see my mistakes
For me there is so much at stake
Yet you fail to see, even if you should
I wish you would understand me
And that you would come to me
Not like the usual way when to you I come
I wish you would greet me with a warmy 'Welcome'
I have lied countless times
Only because I was unable to play your games
Only because I couldn't say what I had to say
I have lied too many times
Sometimes you see my eyes and catch a glimpse at my feelings
And you wonder and ask me what is wrong with me
Unable to convey my true feelings,I lie and say
There is nothing wrong and you believe me
I dare not hope for this love because I am afraid
Afraid of failure and of the darkness that would seize me
If I would find out that you do not love me
So I prefer to stay away and calmly watch you
There are so many things I wish to do with you
Even though they are hopeless hopes I still dare to dream
That one day you would come to me and say what I have been waiting
The magical words that will heal my heart's wounds
And I hate that the person who can make me feel better
Is also the one who makes me cry
And I hate that the person who can make me happy
Is the sole reason for why I cry...
I was wondering why you would never talk to me
I came to realize that you don't want to be with me
At first, agony struck me,and my tears kept flowing
However I didn't despair and I finally saw it
That after all these years,I have finally realized that my love for you
Has far exceeded the limits of a normal, selfish love, that it has risen far above
To a state of a pure, angelic love, before I only wanted you to be with me
But now,my only aim is not to be with you,but to see you happy and surrounded by love
Even if you hate me
I will still love you
Even if you push me away
I will still help you
Even if you turn your back on me
I will still be here for you
For you all are for me
I shall be your unseen angel
That will always protect and love you
