Tanemura Arina is one of my favorite Japanese mangaka. She has a different touch in her art which makes her drawings unique and beautiful. Read more about Tanemura Arina on this page at MangaUpdates (http://www.mangaupdates.com/authors.html?id=242). Tanemura Arina is famous for shoujo and romance-related series.

I haven't read many of her works but I always loved the Full Moon anime.

One of my favorite Shoujo series.

I have never watched any anime based on Tanemura-sensei's works. But to me too, FullMoon is probably her best work, with Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne following after it. :3

Her artwork is unique; back then when I didn't know about Shinshi Doumei Cross, just looking at the art I could tell it was Tanemura-sensei's works. I think it's because of the eyes. But at some point, sometimes it feels like the characters look more or less the same; only with different hair styles or hair colors. Like Eichi (FullMoon) and Chiaki (Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne). They resemble one another that sometimes I feel like there isn't many variations in her drawings. :P

Still, I like the artwork and the plot of the series. :D

Always been a fan of Tanemura Arina's works so I follow updates on her constantly, but lately it just seems like there's a lack of activity from her ): I would like to see more of her beautiful artwork and read her romantic stories! Although the one thing that irks me is that the anime adaptations of her manga aren't up to par :\ They're quite disappointing.

I loved Full Moon wo Sagashite, it makes me cry every time. Shinshi Doumei Cross is also really well done. I didn't much get into Sakura-hime though, I'm unsure why I didn't like it, I think I didn't have a connection with the main character which is something I had with Mitsuki and Haine. I never watched the Full moon anime, I felt they couldn't match the style that the manga had.

Honestly I think FullMoon and Kaitou Jeanne are actually better than Cross. When I first started Cross, I bought the first volume but it was discontinued in my country. I don't know if the translation was off or something else was wrong but the first impression of that series was not strong at all. In addition to the characters get somehow confusing and I always imagined characters from previous series. I finally followed it online when I read it until it finished. Again the impression wasn't as strong as those titles I mentioned before although her artwork was still very strong.

Her other works didn't catch me much, mostly because it is not released here in my country or not completely scanlated.
