As we have seen many times, fighters generally have nicknames in this manga. The god fist, the fist of destruction, the sage fist, the bewitching fist, the 100th dan, the god of the underworld, invincible superhuman, suparna, castor and so on. Kenichi has advanced a fair bit in his training and has acquired a decent bit of skill and yet he has shown a proper nickname. He has been called the strongest disciple however that cannot possibly be a nickname which will stick once he becomes a master. So what could he be called?

The peaceful fist?
The talentless fist?
The scared fist?
The tactical retreat fist?
Strongest in history?

Band-aid fist (cause of the band-aid obviously)
Undying fist or the thousand hit king (because you hit him and hit him and hit him and he always stands up)
Master of the five styles (Jiu-Jutsu, Chinese Kempo, Karate, Muay Thai, Kousaka-ryuu)
Or he inherits the title Invincible Superman from Hayato Furinji.

Wel, kenichi has not learned kousaka ryuu yet, he has limited himself to hand to hand fighting. I guess "master of all martial arts" would fit him though. Heck, the styles which he is learning is the basis for an unreasonable number of martial arts, if he gets those he could effectively be a master of all martial arts.

Wel, kenichi has not learned kousaka ryuu yet.
While he hasn't yet learned any techniques from Shigure, she has definitely given him some of her style's broader teachings (like the fear detector and how to fight armed opponents while being unarmed yourself). Despite having not learned the sword, Kenichi is still Shigure's disciple.
And who knows maybe some day he will start learning from her, like when they go up against Yami's weapons division equivalent of the One Shadow Nine Fists.

I like the idea of "peacefull fist"...but it's sounds not baddass enough)
Also Kenichi is kinda stubborn in his fights and trainings,so it's also may be "tenacious fist"
And if consider the Kenichi will become ultimate Ryuzampaku member (wich opposite to Yami and One shadow fist) i think it will be something like "the living fist"(thou its almost a direct translation for Katsujin Ken...but i gues it fits well)

How about the immortal fist? Kenichi keeps getting thrown down and he still gets back up regardless of how wounded he is. There are plenty of fights where he has defeated stronger enemies solely because he has had the greater resistance to punishment.

wait doesn't his name translate to roughly fist (ken) one (ichi)? or rearranged to (since japanese has a different subject-adjective order than english): first (ichi) fist (ken)?

I think Kenichi's title will be the talentless master of Ryozanpaku. ;P

Wasn't his nickname 'Weakleg' (http://www.mangareader.net/337-23507-13/historys-strongest-disciple-kenichi/chapter-1.html)? I'll bet it comes up again in the future. :XD

except he no longer has weak legs. His legs and hips are considered by most masters to be the most powerful part of his kung-fu.

Guys, the "Fist" nicknames are only for the One Shadow Nine Fists, aren't they? Don't give nicknames like that to Kenichi, it's like saying he'll join Yami.

That being said, I think that right now the best guess would be "Master of Four Styles". Since he's got Karate, Kung-Fu, Muay-Thai, and Jiu-Jutsu. Plus, the Elder has taught him things, and so has Shigure (though he wants to keep fighting bare-handed, meaning he might never use a weapon).

If not "Master of Four Styles," then before he becomes a master, he'll be called "History's Strongest Disciple,". After he becomes a master, his masters will then decide on his nickname, I think.
