Frankie - Gejutel:
Basically commenting that the clash earlier exposed the island, and they suspect the intrusion wasn't by the order of the Union's upper brass - it isn't like Union to attack in this way.
Gejutel wanted to know the state of Rai's body, and Frankie expresses anger of how his master was manipulated for the Nobles and declares he'll never forget this.
Gejutel then says still it mustn't be so bad since Rai didn't bother to rest in the sanctum, to which Frankie retorts that Rai refused to rest although Frankie insisted that Rai should sleep even for a short period in the sanctum.

And no Noblesse next week, as that was the end of Season 3. It will return on Sep 13.

Raskeria goes through the same misunderstanding about ramen as Rai did - after listening to Seira's whispers, she asks Rai why he isn't eating it and Rai replies that 'he's waiting for it to become more' - which Raskeria finds it acceptable by saying 'Oh~'. This exchange leaves the trio bewildered, who think 'This is weird...'

Raskeria then asks what his plan is and assumes he'll be staying in Lukedonia, and Rai says he's returning 'home' - She then asks if this 'home', where he is staying now, is really worth that much to him to go back, and Rai replies, 'Yes.'

It was really interesting when the Lord got to eat with Rai. At first (while looking at RAW version), it came into my mind that Rai is trying to saduce the Lord... :love

Nonetheless, it ended with a simple dinner, where Rai only had a nice meal with the Lord.

To me the best part in this chapter, was when Gajutel brought ramen to the Lord. As a gift from Rai to the Lord, in front of all clan Leaders. I just couldn't stop laughing when Gajutel and the Lord opened the box... :facepalm

I don't know, the best part for me was when Rai and the team had arrived back at Seoul (they are at Seoul, right?) safely. To see Frank sit on his desk again, the guardians back on duty, and more importantly to see Rai, Regis, and Seira in students uniform once again... Just look at how Rai smiled. It was as if he tried to say 'Everything is going to be okay.'. As much as lots of danger are coming from the Union for the upcoming arc, his presence is just calming and I can't help get 'awwwww'-ed there. XD

Ramen scenes are purely epic. No comment. XD

I thought it was funny when the central order guys appeared, since they completely overrated their own abilities. Tao was able to knock them out, but I guess they have a decent amount of strength for a "normal noble."
The reaction that the lord was funny, it was like a more detailed version of Rai's reaction.
I think the relationship between Frankenstien and Gejutel will get worse, while I think the CL will start liking Rai. She was blushing while having dinner with him.

LOL~ I share your sentiment. The story is a bit bland without romance, no? :lovebunny
Anyway, this is a sweet closing chapter. The happiness is overflowing from everyone, knowing that they had fixed one problem and that they could return 'home'. It was heartwarming. I was like, "VIVA RAMEN!" when Rai introduced ramen to Raskreia. It seems as if ramen is going to invade Lukedonia and all the nobles. XD

Sometimes I think Frank is overprotective towards his master, including that part where he got mad at Gejutel. I guess that is what makes him special. :3

I loved seeing Franky THAT attached to his Master! Anyway, this chapter made me LOL hard! Second funniest dinner ever (first is the Strawhats at the Royal Palace in Alabasta). I love Noblesse, and I love the authors (only 1 week pause!!!). Hell yeahhh!!!

Finally managed to dl the chapter, late post. :p

Raizel is back in Korea, wow was not expecting that based off the last couple chapters. I thought we would see more of Rai staying in Lukedonia or more of Crombell.

It was a nice transition getting back back to Korea. Which was something I had been hoping for. So that was nice and from here on out in the next season we know who to look out for. Seeing the central guard in this chapter made smile. I still remember how he was fried like chicken by Tao and his "because he is central order, no one can escape his mind control line".

Mind-control done on unconscious humans? Wow Central Order is impressive. :Haha

The moments with Raizel and Laserka in his mansion were funny. I really liked how she had the same reaction to everything regarding the ramen that Rai had early in the series. :rofl

His two smile panels were well placed and it seems with the last one even the lord was impressed. It was also nice to see Rai call Korea his home this just shows he has really bonded well with Shinwoo and the others. It was great seeing them again as-well. Poor Frankenstein has to do all the piled up paper work. :comfort

My only gripe with this chapter was that I didn't really like the artwork for this chapter.
Few things here and there appeared to be more rushed than anything. Also Rael was not mentioned anywhere. I suppose we're to believe that he went back to his clan.


Last but not least, lets not forget this was the 200th chapter of Noblesse. That is a pretty impressive feat. Also the author (Son Jae-ho) and artist (Lee gwang-su) once again took into consideration the fans waiting for the next season / chapter and only took a week off.

Sure waiting for the next chapter is hard but I hope they don't over work themselves. A week off for them seems too short since they wont be able to relax due to preparing for the next season / chapter.

You know Noblesse is one of the few series im actually enjoying and anticapting for every week. I actually also enjoy the fillers in this comic as much as the real plot. I was actually hoping things dont escalate to the point where the kids are always useless and never get screen time. Maybe the author could make like a martial arts tourney for Shinwoo and practice with M21, or an amusement park filler. Get some more character bonding, and find out if Seira likes Shinwoo or not, cause that has been bugging me for awhile. I at first wanted to hope for a beach/swimming filler, but i realized that would be too unelegant for the nobles. Bummer. Anyhow a one week break will fly by thankfully, heres hoping to a good fourth season.

@Charlie: No offense to Ludis and his Central Order, but I'm a bit worried about their mind control. :p I think Rajak is seriously 'educating' Rael at the moment, which would result in an 'explosion', a rebellious and wild Rael in the fourth chapter. More troubles to come for everyone. ^^

@halfcrzy: So true! XD Another round of character bonding would be awesome. At least everyone deserves time for their small happy group/family after all that happened. XD

@lawrence: LOL, indeed. But even in their silence we know that they are not people who don't care about their surrounding. That makes them even more awesome.

I agree though there were a lot of chapters where thee artwork had improved looking better than before.
I'm hoping for more of steady non evolving art every few chapter or so.

But I still have my hopes up for the upcoming season. :D I think the artist is continuing to evolve but got tired and rushed toward the end, and that's where the inconsistency has come from.

The moonscape back in chapter 197, i think, is the most impressive artistic display in the series. Followed closely by the expansive panels in battleship vs Ludis fight. Those were both pretty impressive artistic achievements, the problem was that in concentrating on big moments like those no doubt took away from all the new backgrounds of Lukedonia. Such as Raizel's mansion, which i thought came out pretty ugly looking(which was displayed this chapter), and the Lord's Tomb which basically had no background.

I think the artist is going to have to find a way to better balance his efforts in the future or, do what Japanese mangaka do, and force assistants to do most of the backgrounds for him.

I think maybe the tomb is meant to be without design; it is a tomb after all, you wouldn't need many decorations. Though decorations could also show respect. Maybe it's their style. The mansion, in other side, might be a bit bland and more or less only like old building. Nothing really special. Personally I don't give that much emphasize to the background, although it surely made the whole art more interesting; I enjoyed the flow of the story and the characters action that sometimes I forget about the background. :P

I think perking up things by adding more detailed background would help to make the series more colorful and dynamic. Maybe not as detailed as the character, given their one week time, but surely it won't hurt to try to add more either. ^^
