I thought the quad crew was Jinie, Ji-Gun Yoo, Sera Noona, and Shioon. Is Ji-Gun Sera's brother? I think this is an interesting cover.

The cover's probably a hint by the author that all four of them will finally meet up again. If not this chapter, then hopefully in the next chapter.

Ji-gun and Jini are pretty much in a similar situation. Both of them left their respective clans due to one reason or another.

Sera's teaching Shioon about Murims and later bring her master to teach him. Interesting setup of these four characters here.

So Currently 4 of them are shown. Its starting to look like a team fight. 5 vs 5? or 4 vs 5? Will Gang Ha Ill become the fifth? I mean if you check on the right side, there seems to be a circle thats been left out. Maybe he wanted to draw Gang Ha ill too but isn't sure if he should.

As for Sera and Ji-gun being siblings? I never heard of this. I don't think they are.

Summary of Chapter 42 also known as Sera Knows Everything

Ha-Il attacks ShiWoon, demanding to know where Jini is. Shiwoon, who has no idea that Jini has disappeared, displays confusion.
Wrong answer. Ha-Il attacks Shiwoon and threatens to kill him if he doesn't tell 'im.
Sera comes in.
Ha-Il explains (read: yells) to Shiwoon the situation at hand and about Jini disappearing. He blames Shiwoon.
Shiwoon tells Ha-Il to calm the fuck down, and that this is a time for putting heads together and thinking, not stabbing innocent young men's hands.
Sera says that there's nothing to worry about, Ha-Il asks if she knows what's up, Sera says she does to a certain extent.

Jigun is admonishing Jini for being reckless but Jini...
OH SHIT.

Sera pretty much summarizes what has happened (holy fuck a summarization inside a summarization this is so meta) regarding Jini and her grandfather.
To summarize (oh shit, summarizing a summary inside a summary what is this Inception?) Elder told Jini to kill Shiwoon, Jini didn't, ran away.
Ha-Il doesn't believe Sera, gets pissed off.
Shiwoon says that they should look for Jini first before anything else.
Sera points out that Jini could have killed Shiwoon.
Shiwoon says that there's no definite way to prove Sera's claim, and that what he knows is that Jini saved his life many times.
Ha-Il tells Shiwoon not to go searching for Jini and to instead work on recovering (WHO'S FAULT IS THAT YOU FUCKING HAND-STABBER?).
He also tells Shiwoon that he's sorry for stabbing him (okay, I forgive you, Ha-Il) and that he'll apologize properly later.
Sera tells Shiwoon that they have found the first person from the Sunwoo clan who's on their side.

Jini eats food, is full.
Jigun tells Jini a bit about the SUC and how they're going around breaking the law and causing trouble and shit.
Jigun asks Jini why she's alone, wonders if she ran away from home, and is thinking about calling Shiwoon.
This is a comic, though, and nobody allows stuff to get resolved that quickly. Jini, using manhwa character powers, lengthens the plot by telling Jigun not to.
Jigun asks Jini if she has a place to stay and offers a place where she can stay and get work.

Some dude who Jigun knows is reluctant to hire Jini (partially because she's wearing bloody clothes) but agrees to do so.
Jini asks Jigun why he's helping her when they were enemies before.
Jigun says he finds Jini to his liking.
He also says that he wants to take her down (knock down / throw down / defeat) someday.
On.
A.
Bed.

Turns out Jini's new employer is also a Murim-in. He's a 문외제자, which means Gate Outside Student. Footnotes say that it's a person who learns from a school despite not being a member of that school.
He says that Murim-in who are no longer affiliated with their schools find it hard to make a living.
He says that Jigun himself had a hard time after being chased out of his school and that the reason why Jigun is trying to help Jini is because he went through something similar himself.
Also, Jini's working at a MAID CAFE.

Old woman is told by Shiwoon about what happened, takes a look at the hand.
Surprise, it's nearly healed!
She thinks that the healing's too fast.
She wonders what the hell GMR did to Shiwoon.

Important Notes For People Who Didn't Read the Summary:
Sera is working at a maid cafe.
Ha-Il was once chased out of his clan.
Jini is looking for Shiwoon.
Jigun's wounds are healing too quickly.

Sera smiled once again in this chapter, and Shioon's regenerative abilities is becoming stronger(?) since that injury didn't take long to heal. Jini in a maid outfit lol, imagine if Ha-Il or Shioon sees that, I can imagine Sera saying something funny like "Your new fetish, Jini?" when she sees her.

Anyone notice that the burgers and french fries boxes had the MacDonalds logo on them, plus Ji-gun's wearing a University of Phoenix shirt.

Love it an angel explodes huh? Yes that is peculiar that pretty much every time Shioon bleeds he gains new allies. Just thinking through the New Waves series thus far pretty much every time. Chapter is good I think that ChaoticKen's summary is the greatest and I think Shioon is going to be like Wolverine/Hulk with his healing abilities. After all his whole body is full of ki.

At the rate Shioon is healing, I'm amazed his shoulder isn't back to normal yet. Is having the main character in an armsling for the entire series some kind of theme for the authors? Same thing happened to 9 arts dragon in the previous series.

So. Shioon's healing is sooo l33t. So yeah, it is indeed strange that Shioons broken arm hasn't healed yet. So when will it heal? When he leaves hospital? :eyeroll

Another strange thing is his mother. She hasn't bothered to even call or visit Shioon in hospital. Is it really her who was mentioned some chapters ago as mysterious "who"? :blink

It could be that Shiwoons arm / shoulder injury is taking longer to heal due it being his misuse or applying of ki. Whereas, the knife wound would be just a normal flesh wound. Now bringing back the point of Shiwoons healing powers, I think it gives more hope for Shiho's recovery. It will be interesting if that is how everything ties in, meaning the reason why she is not dead yet in the first place.

@ Revenge - maybe his mother is in the hospital, like how it was hinted someone close to him was in trouble and Sera was withholding the information from Shiwoon.

Chapter page wise it was much longer than the usual 10-11 page. If I recall correctly, there was 14 pages in this chapter.
Several pages were focusing on Jini and sword boy so that could be the reason why it felt shorter.

Wasn't the reason why he heals quickly was because of the super amount ki he posses / in addition to that super pill from part one like you mentioned. The granny is most likely not aware of his healing abilities thus shocked over it. I don't this is something new but who knows? Maybe...

I am thinking that Shioon's shoulder will be fine next chapter. That he hasn't used it because no one knew of his healing ability and also because he hasn't tested it. Kind of like taking the doctors word for it that you need to be in a sling. Shioon is going to be a monster. I had this crazy out there vision for him that each of the different Schools were going to take an interest in him. Kind of like what Sera said about having someone from the Sunwoo Clan actually on his side. Though I don't think Sera knows about Elder Jeon.

Granny: Don't be, I wanted to see what GMR's deciple is capable off, anyway is your right arm still broken ?

Shioon: Now that you are mentioning it, my arm doesn't hurt any more.

Than Shioon takes off the bandages and says: Wow, I'm already able to move it like nothing happened. Thank you Granny (hugs her).

Granny: I'm glad to see that you are happy, but i really must go and rest now. Oh, girls do the same as yesterday, and I'm leaving Shioon in your care from now on.

Assistant Girls: We understand master.

At that time "Assistant Girls" start to take off Shioon's clothes.

Soon after, Shioon would be heared screaming from outside the house: Nooooooooooooooooo... (he would think that girls want to rape him, but they would only wish to give him a massage...)



Scene switches to where Granny and Sera are:

Granny: You were here this whole time again? It's morning already, you know (pictures of looking at the first sunbeams/sun rays are shown). Young people like you should sleep at such hours.

Sera: Never mind about me, more importantly, are you alright master?

Granny: I was better, acctuly this child is really impressive. He is accumulating ki rather naturally, not to mention with broken ki center. All that I needed to do was to distribute that ki, becouse his ki center was destroyed.

Sera: I'm sorry to give you so much work.

Granny: What are you talking about, your boyfriend must be strong Sera !!!

Sera starts blushing: We have not come so far master, why we only know each other for a few days.

Granny: It's nice to be young. Anyway go look why Shioon is screaming so much.

Sera: I undestand, than I'm going.

Granny in her own mind: Sera you really have a good instinct for finding yourself a good man. I would be embaressed to tell you the acctual truth, that age does not matter when dealing with ki, so even if I would still be young, I believe I would still be as exousted as I'm right now. Not to mention that this boy didn't pass out like last time. If we continioued, I think I would pass out before him on the second day of his training. This boy really is something !!!



Scene switches to where Shioon is:

Sera openes the door to the room where Shioon was training, only to see somebody (Shioon) rushing/slaming like a rocket at her.

At the end she would be unable to react so fast, so this would happen:
