Uchiha 'Brothers' Speculation

So far there are 5 known uchihas and one non-uchiha using one eye of obito, who have awakened MS. Among the 5 known uchihas, 4 of them are composed of two pairs of brothers. Itachi during his fight with sasuke, talked about his brother's eyes being the spare pair. So i've been wondering if it could be like the ability to awaken MS always appear to a talented pair of uchiha brother. In that case shisui and obito could turn out to be brothers. And another hunch that i've is that tobi could have been using the other eye of obito. With sasuke and itachi we've seen that brothers have similar MS jutsus. Shisui was famed as 'Shisui of mirage'. In the latest chapter, we got the chance to see what kishimoto means by 'mirage' from nidaime mizukage...and its a bit similar to how tobi turns untouchable. Also Mei mentioned that Sandaime Mizukage was controlled by something similar to shisui's genjutsu. So tobi has something similar to shisui, could it be because he is using the eye of shisui's brother obito?The last piece is the fact that tobi said kakashi's sharingan won't work against him. Could it be because they're both using eyes of the same person and so it would've cancel out kakashi's jutsu? So yeah, my theory is obito and shisui were brothers, they had similar but not cigar jutsus, and tobi is using obito's eyes(while his own eyes evolved into rinnegan, as he claimed). Discuss.

Shisui was actually famed as "Shunshin no Shisui" (Shisui of the Flickering Body) referring to "Shunshin no Jutsu" (Flickering Body Technique) which is the most basic 'teleportation' technique that all ninjas can use. Whenever you see a character vanish in a swirl of leaves or sand, that's Shunshin no Jutsu.

The 2nd Mizukage is specifically using a genjutsu (illusion) technique.

Madara's technique which allows him to become intangible is a Space-Time technique.

However, it's true that Kakashi's Kamui technique, using one of Obito's eyes, is similar to Madara's teleportation techniques. Both are Space-Time techniques, involving all that swirling and teleporting.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Madara were using Obito's other eye, or if he were even "using" Obito's body. The Tobi/Obito connection is definitly still a possibility, IMO.

Oh i see, i was misled by the translation 'shisui of mirage'. In any case i still thing shisui and obito being brothers is a possibility. And mizukage uses yin manipulation(genjutsu) for his mirage. Space-time jutsu could include yin-yan manipulation. May be from there, tobi specifically does the yin manipulation part to become intangible.

It's possible however Shisui and Obito's abilities differ quite a bit. If we look at Sasuke and Itachi (although it is implied that Itachi gave Sasuke his MS powers) they have more or less the same powers with minor differences. We can't really comment on Madara and Izuna since not much is known other than them being equals but we can assume they had similar abilities based on Sasuke and Itachi.

Madara taking Obito's eye is a good theory - I still think it was crushed to the point of no return but we just don't know at this point. You could make sense of it if this was true - the most likely reason Madara states to Kakashi that his Kamui will not work is because he can already warp between dimensions - Kakashi's Kamui simply warps an object to another dimension thus having no effect. So there is potential evidence that he is using Obito's eye. [A funny side thought on this is if they are actually warping to the same dimensional space: Kakashi sent a lot of bad things that way - such as Deidara's explosion and his arm!]

Whether or not Kakashi has fully developed his MS is also unknown however similarities between Madara's and Kakashi's eyes are apparent but I cannot see a concrete link between Obito / Shisui because of the differences between their MS powers (there is one possibility - see below).

Throughout the development of the MS we found out that each eye has a different ability with the possibility of a final combined technique - this doesn't seem to be the case with Shisui as it would seem both his eyes have the same Mind Controlling abilities. We don't know for sure however it has been said it's 1 ability per eye which would rule out Obito's (or anyone's) eye being able to warp and control people. IMO it doesn't make sense that one 'brother' can control people whilst the other can warp time and space however there is a catch here:

You mentioned Yin / Yang - the only possible connection I can think of is that rather than each eye possessing Yin / Yang techniques (such as Sasuke / Itachi) this was split between the 'brothers' - Shisui was able to use Yin (I.E Genjutsu) whilst Obito was able to use Yang (I.E Ninjutsu). Something like this may also imply that they were potential twins hence the split between Yin / Yang. Far-fetched but a theory is a theory.

A final point: The controlling of the Mizukage was a curious point in the Manga - we know that Yagura was in full control of the three tails however we also know that the three tails was out in the wild - when the separation actually happened is unknown. If Madara was controlling Yagura then it would only be possible if the biju had already been removed. From here there are a number of possibilities: Yagura may not have been a very powerful ninja after he lost the 3 tails therefore a simple non-MS sharingan (such as the hypnotism used on Torune / Fu) may have been enough. If not then Madara may have used his left eye.
