For me it was Pufou´s death. In my opinion he died in despair not having completed his self-imposed mission of protecting the king and the grief of losing to the humans whom he considers clearly inferior to the ants.

So, which one is your favorite?

Pufu hands down. He died with the knowledge of the King being aware of Komugi and last but not least. He struggled, he probably tried to crawl his way to the King but died in the process.

Take a closer look then you see a trail and some blood that he coughed up. What a sad way to die.

probably one of the saddest way to die, crawling in the floor with grief. Togashi really created a fitting way to kill Pufou according with his personality

What do you think about Yupi´s death? I think it was the least impressive of them, felt that it was a plot device to expose the poison.

I don't think there any differences between how pufu and yupi died. Pitou was at least remarkable in that he got his head smashed by gon which is significantly more interesting than helplessly dying out of the blue from poisoning.

Pitou's death was the most dramatic. Pufu was essentially a traitor to the Royals and how he died suited him, basically dying on the side like a squashed bug and nobody, friend or foe, cared.

Yupi's death was inevitable. Even without the poison, he was the size of a fly and I doubt he was going to cooperate with Werefin, so he's going to die anyway.

I enjoyed more Pufu's death, but I think Pitou one was the best. Died fighting and fulfilling his role as a royal guard, being even happy of being completely wiped by that power. That's something I really wanted to see because in the end He was the more "Ant" so to speak.

I thought Yupi's death was cool because it was like "WHAT? Welfin killed him!?" But then we realized it was poison and it's like "Well that makes sense" and then it's like "Dang. Welfin got lucky." Until he meets the King.

Yupi was the size of a fly. This isn't Dragonball where you can have the universe's most powerful chocolate candy that still withstood attacks as if you were at your human size. Pufu even said that if his real body is at the size of a fly anybody who found him could easily squash him like a bug. Sure Yupi has higher physical abilties compared to Pufu, but a fly that's 10 times stronger than your ordinary fly is still easily squashed by a human being.

Now that I think about it , Yupi´s death could had a meaning behind it. Considering the comments of Phantron, Yupi was (if I recall correctly) the strongest of the three on brute force, so if you kill him like a fly is ironic how easy I died when he could whitstand quite some attacks of several hunters (or so I think) in normal conditions.

I thought Yupi and Pufu died horrible deaths on purpose because they basically betrayed Meryem. If you look at the Royals, clearly the best thing to do would be to die while protecting Meryem. Only Pitou died like that, and he was the only one who was loyal to Meryem to the end. Neither Yupi nor Pufu even had the honor to die by Meryem's hands, and dying like that was clearly the worst that can happen to them, but they brought it on themselves since they're lying to Meryem and attempting to kill Komugi.

True. Still I wouldn't have thought early on in this arc that Welfin would attack Yupi and survive. But it does make sense with him being a fly.

Werefin's attack appears to be the type that ignores physical defense and takes the same time to kill someone regardless of their strength, since it's essentially some kind of killer parasites that attack your brain. I'm not sure even Meryem can survive if he just stand still and get hit. Clearly to counter his ability you either kill Werefin before he attacks, or just calmly fight back after you get hit. There is no way Yupi can do that since he's essentially the embodiment of anger. With or without the poison, Yupi was pretty much dead anyway. He can't possibly kill Werefin in that size, and his personality is exactly the type that would be vulnerable to Werefin's ability.

Yes I get that. I'm saying I would have expected Youpi to become the size of a fly
and Welfin to be able to beat him.
