So the thorn regalia is a giant bow an arrow, kind of lame. Looks like it was an oversight by OG Kiric does have regalia. If kiric is crying something bad has happened I wonder if they took out Rika.

there is no way Kirik got orignal form of Gem Regalia it is just replicate like Ringo has and Rika is tied up SF might go ultimate deffence mode i think

This is weird...

So if its not a flashback then the other SF members are not out just yet. They've come back to create some kind of formation which has trapped Rika?

Kiric has seemingly put on a jacket for some reason and bandage head guy has seemed to restrain Rika bondage style. Kiric is crying possibly due to the brainwashed state Rika is in and with image of the giant Brain on the panel is possibly trying to reverse it...?

that 2nd page that shows sf and a captive rika is the sky regalia... they activated the sky regalia!!... but it's not 100% sure if it was sf that did it though it really seems like it.

You noticed too!

A flashback could fit with how not only does Kiric loses his jacket but his regalia as well by the time Rika has dropped most of Sleeping Forest back in chapter 329.

Actually, if you read the spoiler script, all of that "Sleeping Forest lying defeated" bit was an illusion created by the Rising Road, courtesy of the bandaged dude. In reality, Kilik and the others were almost totally winning. And Kilik already had a replica of the Gem Regalia, with a core, so the picture of him still using his Sub-Regalia was also part of the illusion. [The real Gem Regalia, the one that isn't a Sub-Regalia, has six wheels total; four of them go on the bottom of the ATs, two on each shoe, and then there are two additional ones, one on the top of each shoe, that make up its core, the "Hardest Apostollica".]

And according to the spoiler script, Kilik is crying because he's going to have to kill Sora and he doesn't like it. Sleeping Forest activated the Sky Regalia, and Kilik is going to use it. But he doesn't want to hurt Rika, since he loves her (I think he said something like that; I could be getting it wrong).

hardest apostolica is the core, and really, that's all that matters. Regalias are regalias because of the core, the rest can be changed according to the rider's preference...

anyways...so, does this mean that OG double-trolled us on two consecutive weeks?

Now we know why Kiric is wearing a Jacket he was masquerading as bandage guy. Kiric proves once again he is the Sun Tzu of Air Gear. I still don't expect them to win but this was one badass strategy.

Sorry, but what manga are you reading? In the manga we're reading, the main character is Ikki. [I know I shouldn't feed a troll, but still.]

And I know that Hardest Apostollica is the core. I'm just surprised that even though the members of the current team Sleeping Forest have resolved never to use real Regalia again, Kilik is actually using a real Regalia now.

But yeah, most likely, something will happen to make Sleeping Forest lose.

Kiric isn't stupid, he wouldn't go into battle against Sora without regalia, and if those are true regalia. Then he knows sub-regalia wouldn't stand up to his level of power and skill. SF has stated they don't have what it takes to make true regalia which is why Ringo uses a sub-regalia. So the real question is. if Kiric's gem regalia are true regalia, who made them for him?

DragonOsman2
October 04, 2011, 05:50 PM
Of course it's a true Regalia. Only the real Gem Regalia has those two wheels on top, right? That's the Gem Regalia's core.

And Ringo said that everyone in Sleeping Forest uses Sub-Regalia. Kilik must have some sort of reason why he decided to use a real Regalia. And yeah, I know he isn't stupid, but I did think he was too stubborn for this.

Looking at the chapter again Rika was the only one able to hit fake Kiric. Sora tried and got frozen to the ground, without Rika Sora couldn't even hit a fake. So Rika is going to have to get free if Sora hopes to win.

just having the wheel on top like nike doesn't make it the gem regalia... as the flashback with gazelle proved, the thorn chain wasn't the 'core' since she removed them in her escape with kaito and after she kills herself, sora takes her a-t shoes because they held the core of the thorn regalia. we also have ringo who we know has a sub-regalia and it possesses the same thorn chain that we are familiar with for the thorn regalia but it still lacked the core. so the likely case we have is kiric had designed an a-t that functions the same way as the gem regalia but it lacks the proper core and will likely break with overuse.

i don't really read chinese but the more complex kanji is usually the same between chinese and japanese, and ami (the short haired ttt member who is good at hacking) sees a close up of the regalia that rika is using and confirms that it is the real thorn regalia (version 10.7 according to minami)... so does that mean that nike was busy reclaiming the thorn regalia from rika prior to arriving in the wake of the old sf vs. new sf battle? it would make sense since nike is a sneak up ambush type of guy so he could have managed to take rika by surprise and get the regalia without her seeing him. this also fits with his lack of appearance until after sora was beaten - nike is blindly devoted enough to not sit around and watch sora get that hurt, so him not being around at all until after the fact makes sense.

it does seem like sora's finally actively participating as we see his pants ripped up as he starts to use his regalia (since last chapter and early pages of this chapter, his pants and normal shoes were in untattered condition). the thorn regalia's active transformed appearance isn't that surprising... i mean, we had gawain many chapters ago with his sword for a-ts so at that point, i was ready for any sort of possible shape of a regalia. what i also wanted to comment on was how much of a trooper the head wrapped guy is to take those hits from rika... though i wonder if nina was more or less absorbing shots for him so that he won't really get beaten down.

the best part, sf activates the sky regalia which surprises the crap out of sora... i guess kiric was serious enough to take on sora that he would use the sky regalia if needed. guess this will give us a glimpse of just how much the sky regalia is capable of.

I have a feeling OG is going to have Kiric pussy out on killing Sora so we won't see the Sky Regalia trick. It'll be the dumbest fucking way for SF to lose Kiric being a little bitch. It love Kiric's character but if he's going to turn into an emo fucktard in front of a mass murderer then that's going to be lame.

I know that stuff about the Thorn Regalia . . . also, when Kilik was shown in that illusion, he didn't have wheels on top of his ATs. And if you recall that panel that has Nike smiling after having taken the Gem Regalia core from Kilik, the wheels shown in his hands in that image are the ones that go on top of the ATs when one wears the real Gem Regalia. So yeah, the Regalia Kilik is wearing, I'm still believing it's the real Gem Regalia until it's stated otherwise.

@Carnevil: With the Sky Regalia, you can use Tricks from any and all of the Eight Roads. So there's really no specific Sky Regalia Trick . . . or at least I don't think there is. [I wonder if Kilik will be able to use the "Null Wind" Trick by accessing the data on Ikki's Memory Stick.]

Do you even know what the core looks like though?

Obviously the core was inside the regalia component when in Nike hands but time and again there have been crazy working ATs that don't have cores at all. Just because Kiric has another component on top of his AT what makes you think he's got another core in there?

Didnt they say Nike was superior to Kiric who doesn't have a proper regalias?

Look at this page: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v33/c328/16.html; One of the wheels from the Gem Regalia core are shown in there. You should know just from looking which one it is. Now, compare that to the wheels on top of Kilik's ATs. The wheels we saw Nike taking from Kilik were definitely the Hardest Apostollica. Kilik didn't have the Gem Regalia core until now, probably because by now, Ume or someone else must have made him another pair of wheels to replace the ones Nike stole. The component on the ATs in and of itself is the Hardest Apostollica. The wheels drop to the sides of the ATs while on the ground to cause tremors and earthquakes when the Gem King wants them to, remember? That's how they create the Gem Vibrations.

Oh and, yeah; damn, guys, we've seen the Hardest Apostollica more than enough times already; here's another pic (look at the first panel): http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v33/c326/13.html

"In terms of pure attack power, it obviously surpasses Kiric who lost his regalia..."

Unless its only within Sleeping Forest, the rest of the AT world does not consider Kiric as possessing a bona fide Regalia Core.

Haku made a visually exact Wind Regalia that could preform Infinity Atmospheres from the Wind Road that Kururu couldnt even tell was inferior:
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v16/c139/6.html
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v16/c139/7.html
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v16/c139/8.html

But in the end was seen as totally fake:
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v16/c140/10.html

Unless O!G goes on to say explicitly Kiric had another regalia core forged from scratch, the current story is implying to the readers that Kiric is not wearing top end equipment.

Carnevil
October 05, 2011, 07:20 PM
Funny thing is riders without a core aren't considered kings like Ohama said to Ringo when they were discussing the thorn regalia. But the entire Air Gear world has always called Kiric the Gem King. The only people who have ever referred to Nike as the Gem King is himself and a few other members of Genesis. But even members of Genesis have referred to Kiric as the Gem King. So core or not Kiric is still respected as the true Gem King and feared for his abilities. So who cares if he's wearing a true regalia or a sub-regalia Kiric is still the man.

OG never ceases to tease. Here's a summary/partial trans of the chinese scan

Professor Minami talks about how it's not people's body that can't fly, rather it's their "heart" that can't. The announcer is hyping SF vs Genesis.
Sora: Isn't this a little too one sided, baka. Are you worried about something? You've been holding a grudge against her for a while, just fight her.
Kilik: Sora, how low can u get...she's pregnant asshole.
People are surprised, "this is the power of the tower's guardian?" SEKIHA TENKYOU KEN (G Gundam reference, intended or not...probably intended considering OG referenced Gundam in the past). People are surprised at Rika's AT since it's the original thorn regalia ver 10.7, the newest, strongest, lightest, Prof Minami's "masterpiece"
Rika: Kilik...you are the 2nd person in love with me *shoots
Killik: rika...the rika I know wouldn't rank people...wake up
Rika: I'll defeat you and prove that the road of the number 1 lover (Sora) is correct
Kilik asks her to stop one more time and tries to a trick: Gaia Road: Infinite Gaia which sora stops with his wind wall. Prof minami explains that Kilik was trying to solidify the air which sora just countered. Sora thanks Kilik since he was the only person who could fly to the same goal but that this was the last stop. The goal btw is the gravity children's birthplace.
Kilik: please...before I die...I want to grope Rika's breasts
The whole point of this was to capture the Thorn without harming Rika. It's time...ALL REGALIA FINAL FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSHION. Sora no regalia, kido! Kilik says that he and Sora flew to the same height, but he can't recognize him as friend or foe.
When the 8 roads collide, AT GOES TO AN UNKNOWN DIMENSION

i debated this issue many chapters ago when the inorganic net battle happened. i believe that o!g has made a crappy inconsistency but that's just me.

flashback and some inorganic net views of kiric with his regalia:
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v17/c154/19.html
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v17/c154/24.html
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v17/c155/10.html
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v17/c155/11.html
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v18/c164/12.html
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v23/c214/8.html

the flashbacks we know for sure that kiric possessed the regalia and in all of those shots, it is a back wheel design.

however, between chapters during the inorganic net battle, the regalia's design changes:
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v24/c218/17.html

so basing the regalia on it's placement isn't really evident of it being a true regalia. heck, dontores and yoshi both had the regalia during their duration as king but both had vastly different designs.

on the summary provided by megakim: is head wrapped guy a pervert? well, it is o!g so i can't be that surprised but if he actually said that, then wow... though i'm wondering if any of that summary is partial author ad lib.

DragonOsman2

Yeah, well, in the back-wheels design, the core is the same as the one shown now. That's the Hardest Apostollica. Maybe Ume made him a replica recently, or maybe he already had one lying around. But it's true, what Carnevil said, that the rest of the AT world still considers Kilik as the true Gem King even though the actual core was in Nike's possession this whole time. Though, Simca referred to him as the "former" Gem King of the Jade Road (don't know why she called Kilik's Road the Jade Road, though, when that's actually Gaia Road plus Wing Road).

But yeah, O!G's been changing the design . . . what the heck is up with that?

Not like we haven't seen the Gem Vibrations replicated before. I'm actually wondering why Bandage guy didn't get the real Thunder Regalia over Blackburn when Blackburn is a failed gravity child.

DragonOsman2
October 06, 2011, 08:23 PM
Um . . . every Gravity Child who was in the "Tower" had his/her own copy of each of the Eight Regalia, since Minami said that the ATs the First Gen. Gravity Children were wearing inside the "Tower" are now known as "Regalia". It's just that the Ring Road Riders' "Regalia" aren't ATs, though they did have ATs; their Regalia are in the form of a cross. But was the bandage dude part of the First Generation, or the Second?

And if you're referring to Nike using the Gem vibrations, that was different; with the Gem Regalia, you're still able to move out of that spot right after causing those vibrations, but without the Regalia, you'd be glued to that spot. Read back to when Aeon used it against Nike; Nike was surprised at him "being able to accomplish that normally takes so much skill". Buccha doing it could be referenced, though, I guess, though I don't fully understand how he did it.

actually, if we are basing it off of a diagram of the roads, there are 8 that branch from 1 source and each of the 8 has 2 roads that branch off of it. that really only gives us 24 but it could be argued that there are 3 variant regalias of the same road. so i don't think it's really having 3 of the same core, but 3 of the same concept but different applications of cores.

So Sonia Road can create thorns (in this case, arrow) that is 'stab' damage. So they are capable to pierce through air and gem barrier in exchange with low stamina, weaker-than-fang damage, and user's body shredding characteristics.

Wing and Over Road create 'impact' damage. Fang Road create 'slash' damage.

Maybe I've played Monster Hunter too much. lol

I'm not sure if OG will make SF win this fight. I really don't want to have Kilik and Ringo become last boss for Kokara (Yes, both are awesome but...) SoraxSkyRegalia v.s. KokaraxSFxAll-Others-Rider would be more suitable for final epic battle in my opinion.

Would it be a surprise to anybody if Sora escapes figuring he can't win then returns during the battle with SF and Koga to take out the winner since both sides would be exhausted and give himself the advantage.

so summary from the japanese raws:

-minami explains that what keeps people from flying on their own is their 'hearts'

-tanaka is mc'ing and mentions how sf vs. genesis is the last match of the 1st tier match as well as the biggest show.

-we once again see the aftermath of the match so far (even seeing the head wrapped guy too this time). sora goads kiric to fighting seriously, but kiric retorts with sora's cowardice to use rika while she is pregnant (since sora was likely banking on them not wanting to actually harm rika due to her baby).

-tanaka is ranting at the turn of events, wondering if this is really what sf is really made of. meanwhile, minami gets one of the ttt members filming to zoom in on rika (she is activating the regalia).

-inside the tv van, ami sees the close up on the thorn regalia and confirms that it is the original. minami says that it is version 10.7, the latest, greatest and lightest to date. it takes on a shape that is pretty much a bow.

-rika uses the regalia to shoot down kiric. kiric is hit and pleads with rika, but she continues to attack him. kiric tries to use an infinite atmosphere trick, gaia road "infinity stratum" gravito suffocate (not sure on the 'suffocate' part)

-sora makes a wind barrier to stop kiric. tanaka doesn't quite know what's going on and invites minami to give in his observations. minami explains that kiric was using his gem vibrations to create a solid mass of air to throw down at sora and rika but sora effectively blocked it. kiric's a-ts crack.

-sora comments that he was happy to fly with kiric, but this place is their last stop. rika comments about how the happy blue bird is searching for is at the place where grav kids were born. kiric wonders if rika has remembered, however she rubs it in his face about how kiric always wanted the love she and sora share with one another.

-sora says kiric should be happy if he at least gets a chance to grope one of rika's breasts with his own hand to which rika kinda offers. suddenly she is wrapped in the straps of the wrap that head wrap guy wears.

-'kiric' disappears and it turns out that head wrapped guy was charading as kiric, and he says it was the rising road's alpha electromagnetic waves and this shocks sora. nina commends on a job well done to head wrapped guy who is named onibasu (a prickly water lily that is also called the 'devil lotus'). nina then uses her trick, over road's phased array optics (lit: phase conjugation optic/light variation... but after much research, i think the goal was phased array optics since it seems to make sense with what happens next).

-tanaka is confused and wonders why there's two thunder kings and what happened to kiric. onibasu complains at why he's the one who had to get hurt and mikan says that his 'net' (thunder road) is able to stop the thorns without injury. kiric then pulls off the wrappings on his face and reveals himself (he was disguised as onibasu). kiric explains that they weren't trying to not hurt rika but that they were trying to apprehend 'the thorn queen who possesses the regalia' without harm, just to be able to beat sora.

-with all the pieces (all the main roads gathered), ume launches out some equipment and they activate the sky regalia. sora is shocked that the sky regalia is being used. kiric gets a bit emo over the bond he once shared with sora as friends but now they are enemies.

yay, we now know the last grav kid's name in sf - onibasu. on the note of them aiming at capturing rika... the way kiric phrased it makes it sound like the main key piece to really use the sky regalia was the thorn regalia. maybe it's just the gathering of all 8 roads or sub road that branches from the main 8 (since om is clearly the 'lather road' but what if that happens to be a branch of the flame road? kinda opposite but at the same time it has the same 'shapeless' form like flame) but that kiric would actually say 'thorn queen in possession of the regalia' instead of 'the sonia road' makes me wonder if they need the 8 roads' regalia (also iffy on the pledge regalia, since it was first possessed by ine who was not a grav kid - but her dad was one of the researchers and may have given it to her) to also use the sky regalia. or maybe they got the 'key' from the suitcase to unlock chronos, but in order to actually utilize the sky regalia, they need the regalias. as for the lack of gem regalia, what are the chances that they have one of the other regalias that followed the gaia road or one of its sub roads?

Onibasu, that's a fucking badass name. He's just shot to the top of my list as one of my favorite characters right behind Kiric. So Sora was using Rika to defeat Kiric and now Kiric is using Rika to defeat Sora. That's hilarious if Sora hadn't have brought Rika they wouldn't have been able to us the Sky Regalia.

So far it seems:
Flame ~ Wind = The 2 "most free roads"
Gem > Wind, Flame
Thorn > Gem, Wind
Flame > Rising
Rumble > Wind, Fang
Fang > Thorn

any others...?

So we know now that the Thorn/Sonia Road's weakness is Rising Road.

Rising > Sonia

It looks like every road has at least one disadvantage against another...

Thanks for summary. ^^

Maybe Gabishi is categorized in Flame Road since his technique rely on heat too. Just like Mikan, since he's not speed-type like other flame king (as seen when he fought Aeon) but focus more on aggressive attack power.

So that put Om in Fang Road just like Orca, Genesis's Fang King, who use (more powerful) water-based attack as well. Fang is based on air vibration wave. So maybe Lather Road use the same principle but input vibration in water instead. Yes, maybe.

If that is it then..

Wing Road - Mikan
Sonia Road - Rika
Gaia Road - Kilik
Flame Road - Gabishi
Fang Road - Om
Over Road - Nina
Rising Road - Onibasu
Ring Road - Ume

p.s. Not sure if Over road > Gem as well since Kazu use this road to absorb Nike's vibration. I don't know :p
p.s.2 Fang > Thorn ???

p.s.2 Fang > Thorn ???

Thorn is acknowledged as being weaker than Fang in straight-out damage...since Gazelle was developing Fang from her original road. And Im assuming you need more stamina/attacks from Sonia to equal the same amount of damage as a Fang attack.

Gabishi's Road's Infinity Atmosphere was said to be similar to that of the Fang. Agito said it when they first met in the "Tower". And it actually is similar to that of the Fang (Fang requires a 0-100-0 "run," and Gabishi also moves his leg extremely fast before he stops it and then fires out a Light-elemental attack), while the Road seems to be based off of the Bloody Road, except Gabishi targets just the face whereas Bloody Road Riders target the entire body.

Also, as far as the diagram that was shown when Ringo and Kanon were talking about the Regalia while inside "Tower" is concerned, I was under the impression that the Regalia that were shown branching off were the Sub-Regalia, the fakes that don't have cores. Kanon also referred to the Regalia used by Sleeping Forest as being Sub-Regalia, meaning that they all use Sub-Regalia, and he also said that the Hurricane Road would be the "genuine Ninth Path of the Regalia". If all 28 Gravity Children had their own separate Regalia while they were in the Tower, then Kanon wouldn't have called the Hurricane Road the Ninth Road since the other Gravity Children's Road's would already have covered that number and more, up to 28. And Alexander had a replica of the Flame Regalia, since he was Genesis' Flame King. Gabishi is the Horn King, while Orca, even while having an "exploding Fang," is still the Bloody Road's Fang King and has an actual Fang Regalia. All that's needed to produce a Fang is a 0-100-0 "run," and the Fang Regalia's main components are also made only to allow the Fang King to do that more easily--it was stated in the Behemoth battle, if you guys care to look. The Fang Regalia has a special part in it that allows the user to come to a complete stop whenever he/she wants to after having accelerated full-speed.

And if a complete set of Regalia are needed in one spot to activate the Sky Regalia, then I don't get how they can do that while having Sub-Regalia, which are fakes since they don't have the main component that Ringo said makes a Regalia, a Regalia--the "core". All of Sleeping Forest currently uses Sub-Regalia. Except for maybe Kilik, if I'm right about him having gotten a real Gem Regalia somehow.

i would also like to point out in kanon's speech when he talked about that from the japanese script, he used 'kimi-tachi' which is a plural form of 'you' but he didn't say 'minna' which is 'everyone'. in other words, his 'you guys' could have only been referring to ringo and her sisters since they are second gen grav kids and didn't have regalias. if there's one thing about japanese you should keep in mind, it is the fact that they have a rather subtle grammar structure.

there's also no reason for the scientists/minami to give the genuine regalia to the 'failure' grav kids while the successful ones only get sub-regalia. from a scientist's pov, it would be logical to give the better stuff to the better experiments.

I'm pretty sure the ATs and/or other equipment (adding that to include the Pledge Regalia) were given from the start. They were experimenting on them with the pressure and the AT-usage since day 1 and evaluating them on that. So they couldn't have known, when they gave them the ATs, which ones would fail and which ones wouldn't. Also, Kilik had one of the Gem Regalia copies, and he was a successful Gravity Child. As has been stated, out of the Gravity Children that gathered to form the old Sleeping Forest, everyone besides Kilik was a failed experiment.

Also, if what I'm saying is true, then the eight Regalia had replicas. Each of the replicas were given to each one of those 28 Gravity Children.

And doesn't "kimi-tachi" mean "you guys"? Kanon was saying, "The Regalia you guys use . . . ". In that context, "everyone" wouldn't have made sense. Saying "you guys" is good enough, though.

Now, um, remember what I said about the Storm Regalia being a combination of Wind + Rumble at first, due to Kururu deciding that she'd fuse the mechanism of "Wind" with the mechanism of the "Rumble"? The one wheel of the core the way it was before having those other cores combined into it, that we saw when it was damaged, has division-lines on the white edges of the wheels that look similar to the ones on the Bagram wheels, and it also has the same skull with wings. Page of the wheel from back then: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v30/c286/16.html.

it really does make a difference when you say 'you guys use sub-regalia' vs 'all of sf uses sub-regalia'. just saying 'you guys' could mean everyone but it could also mean more than just 'you (singular)' however not actually include everyone. by saying 'everyone' then it is definitely all members.

kururu definitely took into consideration of ikki's original base road of wind and in my opinion re-made the rumble regalia with a focus on the wind road (aka bagram) so the design will definitely share a lot of characteristics of bagram. i'm pretty sure that even the multi regalia core version of the storm regalia will still hold onto many characteristics of bagram, because ikki's road is a branch off of the wind road and it will work best for ikki if it was still geared that way. he'll definitely have extra abilities for sure, but the focus will likely be on wind.

I've already aware that Gabishi's Road rely on the concept of Fang Road, however the idea of creating very high heat via friction also use by Flame Road Rider too. His attack use high-temperature supercritical fluid as a shell (not light-elemental attack).

And as we've seen Gazelle's combination of Fang and Thorn. I could say that there no limit that you have to possess one road at a time. Then my theory would be Gabishi use combination of Fang and Flame Road. Yes, he looks more like Fang Road rider, but what I try to express is that if Gabishi can be in Flame Road and Om in Fang Road then there will be completed 8 main road when they activated sky regalia.

(Now Air Gear Wiki mentioned about all 1st generation gravity children (except 1st Generation of SF) that "There Regalia was stollen by the Takeuchi Brothers about ten years before the story.". I wonder where this's told before or it's just a hypothesis.)

I'm aware that one person can have more than one Road. Like Ikki and Lind.

@Suahnir: I think we'll need confirmation as to whether or not they all use real Regalia or not.

Gabishi himself, by the way, said to Aeon in their fight that he's not really a Speed-type Rider. The Flame Road's main focus is extreme speed. Gabishi saying he isn't a Speed-type probably means that even if his Road [I]is a combination of the Flame Road and Bloody Road, it focuses more on the Bloody Road since his Road's Infinity Atmosphere is similar to that of the Fang, requiring 0-100-0 movement just like with the Fangs. The Flame Road requires constant speed all throughout, so that the Rider can create enough friction to ignite the ground/floor. A Fang is produced in proportion to how hard and how fast one runs before coming to an immediate stop, then shooting. IMO, a Fang + Flame Trick would be one where a Rider went full speed, with enough friction to ignite the ground/floor, and then immediately stopped and shot out a Fang, that would then turn into a Fang with flames on it. We saw Kazu and Agito do a combination Trick like this in the Sleipnir battle as well. "Kazu + Agito x Akito: Flaming Fang Firebird".

Edit:
Suahnir, I think I should point that in case anyone was wondering how Kururu could have combined a Bagram replica into Ikki's Regalia core when the one she made is currently being used by Sora, Kururu could have made another Bagram replica to incorporate into Ikki's since she's a genius Tuner and is also the Pledge Queen. She should have the parts now, unlike before when they were missing a whole bunch of parts and had to take the original Rumble Regalia apart. So really, I think that right now, Ikki's Storm Regalia is a combination of the Wind, Rumble, Flame, Fang, Gem, and Thunder Regalia.

I liked it better when the Hurricane Road was just the Wing Road plus Over Road, so hopefully, after battling Sora, and/or once Agito and Kazu can ride again, he should give back all of the cores besides the Wind and Rumble, and maybe the Thunder (to augment the Wind and Rumble, and also because a hurricane also involves thunderstorms). I'll be okay with him keeping them as long as four conditions are met:

1. Agito and Kazu get new Fang and Flame Regalia cores made for them

2. the Thunder and Gem cores are replicated, along with also the Rumble core (though Ikki will be keeping the original anyway, even if it isn't replicated; I just don't want the Rumble King's seat to be empty, same for the others)

3. a new Rumble King is chosen, and also maybe a new Thunder King and a new Gem King (the first one is due to the fact that he Rumble Regalia core is inside Ikki's Regalia, so they need to replicate the core and give it to the new Rumble King; second one is because since Nue isn't using the core of the Thunder Regalia, if he still declines using it, they'll have to pick another Thunder King, or just have Blackburn return as Thunder King, and give the new core to him or whoever they choose as the new Thunder King; and finally, the third is because the Gem Regalia core is also in Ikki's Regalia, so they'll need replicate that one and either choose a new Gem King or give the core to Kilik if he accepts the position back--that is, unless the Regalia he's using right now is really a real Regalia and not a Regalia without a core).

4. and finally, the cores combined into it so far should be the only ones; two more being combined it will make it the "Sky Road," and with that, Ikki won't the Hurricane Road's Storm King anymore.

I'm sticking with the belief that the 28 First Gen. Gravity Children, while inside the "Tower," had one full replica each of the eight main Regalia, and that the Water Regalia was made as a replacement for the Flame Regalia in the current Sleeping Forest only recently (if it's for the Flame Regalia), and the Horn Regalia (Gabishi's) then being a replacement for the Fang Regalia in the current Sleeping Forest, since Gabishi's Road is similar to the Bloody Road. I'll keep this thought until the manga explicitly or implicitly proves it wrong.

Anyways, there were posts I made in Mangafox that I want to quote in here (one is from a member with the username of Azrael_Chaos.

Anyway, speaking of the Ikki's Road and Regalia . . . does anyone remember what his "shadow" like? [I'm talking about this: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v19/c169/14.html; every Rider has one that is exclusive to them and their Road, a "shadow". Akira's, for example, is a giant monster with huge fangs, and Agito's is a giant shark with dangerous-looking fangs.] It also showed up when Ikki used his "Null Wind" Trick. It's probably going to change when Ikki uses his Regalia, since it's a combination of different Regalia cores. Maybe it'll get things added to it that represent the addition of Flame, Fang, Thunder, and Gem (I think the Rumble is already included in it, since the "Null Wind" Trick has aspects from the Over Road, and Ikki's "shadow" looked like that even after as he used that Trick). The Winged Beast itself is from Ikki was the Wind King, so it represents the Wing Road, and the Wind.

This one is from that other member I mentioned:
Yeah Buccha's race was right after Rez Boa Dogs I think. Thanks for telling me the fights where they first appeared. Rika's disc match was the first appearance. I stopped searching after the Sabel Tiger match...meaning I was only a couple chapters away when I searched the other day lol. Lame. Anyway here it is for people to look at:
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v06/c047/2.html

And next was for Behemoth's fight:
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v08/c065/17.html

And the first transformation was at the Devil's 33. As far as I know, it was the first time Ikki rode the wind without an external current (i.e. wind pressure from the train tunnel or Agito's fang). So with his upgrade in skill riding the Wing Road came an upgrade in his shadow:
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v12/c102/11.html

The beast still has a bit of a skeletal structure if you look at the neck "bones", but now the beast is metal and the wings have feathers. Because of its position we can't really see what the rider looks like there, if there is indeed a rider of the beast like the original "storm rider" shadow and the later "Storm King" shadow. The next appearances are a couple times during the Ringo fight and it's just the head and wings so I won't bother linking it.

After that is when he's named the Storm King, giving the addition of a rider with winged black armor and a large sword:
http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v19/c169/14.html

Since then it's been pretty consistent. So we'll see if it transforms again once these regalia are finished.

Another one form me:
It already had feather wings at the time of the Devil's 33. But yeah, thanks for those links. Even after he was already named the Storm King, though, notice that the "Winged Beast" still has a skeletal tail. What's up with that? And I also don't understand why the skeletal version of the "shadow" had a guitar in the place of a sword.

They call him the "wind," by the way, both him and Sora. For Ikki, though, Simca once called him a "powerful and tempestuous wind" or something along those lines, and Sora, during their disc battle, said to Rika that he's a wind that has already become a storm. [Though, I think it should be that he powered up from a wind to a storm when his Road became the Hurricane Road.] I think that, because of that, the Storm Regalia needs to be built such that the Wind and Rumble components are given center-stage, while the other Regalia cores' parts are there to augment them. Mainly due to the fact that, yeah, Ikki is the wind that became a storm, or a powerful and tempestuous, stormy like wind, and he's also first and foremost a wind-user.

And remember what I said about the Storm Regalia being a combination of Wind + Rumble at first, due to Kururu deciding that she'd fuse the mechanism of "Wind" with the mechanism of the "Rumble"? The one wheel of the core the way it was before having those other cores combined into it, that we saw when it was damaged, has division-lines on the white edges of the wheels that look similar to the ones on the Bagram wheels, and it also has the same skull with wings. Page of the wheel from back then: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v30/c286/16.html. The Hurricane Road, at that point, was a combination of Wing Road plus Over Road, and the Regalia was reflecting that. I'm pretty sure the Storm Regalia core does have the Wind Regalia core combined into it. Kururu could have made another replica of it (directed at anyone who would otherwise wonder how she could incorporate the Wind Regalia core into it when Sora already has the one she made).

To show the Wind Regalia core: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v16/c137/19.html (I need to find the page that has Kururu laying her own version down on the piano, in the "factory," but that'll take some time since I seem to be very far from it right now). The parts where the core is splitting there seem to be close to where the division lines on the Storm Regalia core were when it was just Wind + Rumble, right?

Anyway, I'm still hoping that Ikki will give back all of the Regalia cores that are being combined into his Regalia, besides the Rumble one and maybe the Thunder one. He won't give them back now, I know that; most likely once Agito and Kazu can ride again since right now they're injured (Kazu is a lot more worse off than Agito). If Ikki keeps the cores, that's fine as long as Kazu and Agito get new Flame and Fang cores made for them.

Edit: I finally found it; the image with Kururu's version of the Bagram. Here: http://www.mangafox.com/manga/air_gear/v16/c135/14.html. We see the division-lines and the wing "feathers" more clearly in this one than the one I posted, no?

Keeping those posts in mind, what do you think; will Ikki's "shadow" change after he's started using his new Regalia, or not? And I'm not thinking it'll change much, if it does; it'll most likely just get things added to it that represent the other Roads, or, since the Hurricane Road is mainly supposed to be based off of the Wing Road and Ikki's mainly a Wind-user as well, maybe it'll stay the same? I can't wait to see what happens with that.

But one thing's for sure: Ikki's Battle Level will increase due to the Regalia. It might even shoot through the roof.

Maybe you forget about Mikan, her road is based on Wing Road but mainly focus on using aggressive power of wind more than speed like other wing rider do. So I think flame road rider doesn't limit to have to be speed-type. Anyway, I can't argue that he's more like Fang Rider.

Another point, what Gabishi shoots should not be categorized as fang (yes, although same principle) since it rely more on 'heat' not 'air wave vibration'. He shoots it like some kind of beam and its shape and impact looks not that like something like fang, yes in my opinion.

it wasn't actually confirmed that sora took the other grav kid's regalia. minami only mentioned that sora 'ate' them which could mean a lot of things but mostly towards having 'killed' them. whether he actually did take their regalia as well is something to be speculated. my personal opinion is that he did take the regalia that the other grav kids had... maybe some of those cores were given to the grav kid kings of genesis? arthur/shalott busted out some pretty intense tricks that would wear down a sub-regalia (if their battle could last longer, we'd be able to see if their a-ts would break from being over-taxed).

here's what i am currently wondering about: was the current activated thorn regalia anything like the version that rika used when she was the thorn queen 6 years ago? it seems pretty apparent that it is not, but at the same time, we have never seen rika activate her regalia during any flashback. i don't even know if the thorn chains are really the true activation of the thorn regalia as we have seen gazelle do. i mean, yoshi used his rumble regalia during the devil 30-30 but it didn't look anything like how it looked when he used it and actually activated it when taking down percival and his huge mecha or spitfire and all of his battles yet only with kazu do we see the flame regalia's activated form. so if gazelle's thorn chains were not the true activation of the thorn regalia, what did it really look like and was it the same or different from what we see of rika using now (version 10.7)?

probably because he left them for last due to him knowing they were 'sucessful' grav kids (except for rune, i think he didn't really care because rune was kinda supporting sf back then like simca)? if om, gabi, nina, and onibasu are closer to kiric's level (with kiric being the best out of all grav kids) then someone like sora would have probably had too much trouble dealing with them 6 years ago... that's what i think. actually, i think his push for forming a team to get the sky regalia was because it was getting too difficult to go after the other grav kids, i mean look at all the trouble they had to go through in chasing after gazelle and i imagine that she was a 'successful' one as well since minami considered her his masterpiece at the time.

SF was created before he started going after the others. If you remember Kiric talked about how every year less and less of them showed up until it was just the 8 kings. He thought it was because they started living normal lives but now we know it's most likely that Sora was killing them. But there's also that line where Sora mentioned if he had gathered the strongest of them he might have won. There's a lot of fucking plot holes in this manga.

the grav kids escaped probably when they were 10, which is around 15 years to present time, and sora had went after gazelle 10 years before the series and sf was formed around 7-8 years ago (just a bit before rika joined them because even she heard about a team that had a gathering of kings). it can be assumed that sora had succeeded in taking out a few of the grav kids before gazelle in the gap between them escaping and gazelle's flashback. besides, if there were 28 and most of them wanted to quit a-ts, they would be just as likely to not really keep in touch with the other grav kids unless they happened to live near to another. kiric and simca were living in hokkaido and haven't really kept in touch with anyone either until kiric noticed the internet rumors of the sky regalia to which he finally started to reach out to fellow grav kids. as for the gathering of old sf kings, that phrase wasn't 'a bunch of grav kids came by but only a few stayed on as kings and as the years went by, fewer dropped by' it was more like 4 came at first and then 2 and then 1, etc. the fact that they didn't come was probably because sora already killed off a bunch of them, minus the successful ones. there was no telling at the time they were gathering, who would actually agree to take up a-ts again, and it just happened that sora lucked out on the other successful grav kids back then.

We're only assuming Sora took them out before and during OSF. It was never stated when Sora "ate them" for all we know he decided to take them out after his fall because he needed their regalia for his team. As long as OG doesn't have Sora have some kind of super regalia with 13 different cores that would be fucking retarded and cliche'.

ahh yes, i do that o!g will not take the cliche route and let sora have a 'super regalia' like what we are pretty much getting with ikki's storm regalia.

that's true that sora could have had nike take out more grav kids in the gap between sora's defeat by kiric and present time. nike did become rather unstoppable after gaining the gem regalia, and of course their military assests would have come in handy.

It would also explain why Om,Gabishi,Nina, and Onibasu weren't taken out since he couldn't get to them because they were in the tower.

It's probably nothing but why I thinking that, that sentence was going to end with I Am your babies father.

Onibasu was the one saying that, though. And also, there are still more chances of Sora being the kid's dad.

Anyway, was Nina really a Gravity Child?

@Suahnir: If each Road has three different variants and three different Regalia, then how come there were three Ring Road Riders, including Simca? They all must have had Pledge Regalia replicas, too . . . well, either way, I hope we get some answers on this soon because I'm confused.

What are the chances that Minami will make another Storm Regalia using parts at his own lab, letting Ikki give back the cores that given to him (since Minami would make the Regalia the same way as Kururu, but without having to combine Regalia since he was the one who made all of the Regalia in the first place)? The Gem, Flame, Fang, and Rumble, and Thunder Regalia cores can rebuilt, but if Minami makes a Storm Regalia that is already a combination of those ones and the Wind Regalia core, allowing Ikki to give the originals (plus the Thunder core; Minami rebuilt another one already and that's the one Ikki's going to be using) back. I won't like it if Kazu and Agito don't get their cores, and I'm also not gong to like it if the Rumble King, Gem King, and Thunder King aren't chosen to fill in those empty seats.

By the way, have you guys noticed? I read some chapters again, and like Carnevil said, Kilik was being referred to as the Gem King still, even without the Gem Regalia. Even though Nike was the one with the Regalia, the rest of the AT world was actually still considering Kilik the Gem King. Simca was really the only one who called him the "ex-Gem King of the Jade Road".

Edit: About the 28 Regalia, I also have to add that if what you're saying is true, Suahnir, then Orca, Alexander, Shallot, and Arthur had different Roads from the ones they're using now. The Bloody Road was Falco's, the Flame Road was Spitfire's, and the Over Road was Dontores', and yet Genesis' Fang, Flame, and Rumble King are those guys (minus Shallot, the other Over Road Rider aside from Arthur the Rumble King). I really would like to know what their Roads were; hopefully, if it's true, the manga will talk about it soon.

And about Gabishi: As I said, his Road is very much like the Bloody Road, right down to the fact that he injures his opponent directly with his attacks--the only difference between the Bloody Road and Gabisihi's Road is that the former targets the whole body while the latter targets just the face. And the Infinity Atmosphere is also similar, though I guess if the Horn Regalia is one of those 20 Regalia that branch off form the main eight, it makes sense for its Infinity Atmosphere to be similar to that of the Fang since it's a Regalia that branches off from the Fang Regalia.

Mikan's Road, the Gale Road, is a Wing Road variant. But Mikan wasn't one of the First Generation, she's of the Second Generation, so her Regalia, if it has a core, can't be one of the 28. I think there's a higher chance of her Regalia being a core-less Wind Regalia, since she's Sleeping Forest's Fuujin (Wind God), as stated by Ume (Ume just doesn't say it out-loud).

As for Om, as previously stated on here, there's a possibility that her Lather Road is one that branches of from the Flame Road somehow, despite being of the opposite element. I think it's also possible that Om and Gabishi aren't using their cores, if they had them while in the Tower (in the case that the Regalia they're using turn out to be the ones they had while in the Tower).

And also consider this: if there were three of each Regalia, one being one of the main eight and the other two being those that branch off from it, then there were actually 24 Regalia, meaning that there would need to be 4 extras to cover for all of the 28 Fist Gen. Gravity Children. I just thought of this, but what if the four extras were actually Pledge Regalia copies? And Nike is one of those four extra Gravity Children, right? And we know he was originally a Wing Road Rider; we also saw in the Gazelle and Kaito flashback that he and Sora both had one half of Bagram each. Nike most likely gave Sora his half of Bagram before he stole the Gem Regalia core from Kilik.

Kanon referring to the Hurricane Road as the "genuine Ninth Path of the Regalia" also comes to mind; I'm still confused about this, in the wake of the 28 different Regalia thing. I guess, for the Hurricane Road to still be the genuine 9th Road, we have to think that it's the genuine 9th main Road. It just doesn't have two other Roads branching off from it (of course, it doesn't need to).

lol~ re-reading that in the japanese... yeah, it definitely has a vibe of some real wtf revelation. we do like to overthink things, but it fits in so well. if kiric was the real daddy, how the hell did that happen? a drunken evening and both had a one night stand? it was rather early on that sora and rika got back together, so that's really the only thing i can think of as to how kiric and rika slept together.

as for the discussion on grav kids and the original regalia, i made a thread for that... if anyone cares to join dragon and me there~

Unless Rika found out about Sora killing Spitfire and threatening Ikki and Rika went to see Kiric and she was distraught and they ended up spending the night together.

Haha, could be, but it was said she was off on a trip for her wrestling career or some such when she was kidnapped by Genesis. The chronological order probably wouldn't match up.

Isn't that Onibasu talking and pretending to be Kilik though? Well, that wouldn't stop Oh!Great, but I don't see Kilik talking about his intimate moment with Rika to his team.

I doubt OG will make Sleeping Forest fail too quickly now, but I don't see him drawing a "2 against many" fight. I also remember Kilik training in some pressurized room, I wonder if it will be used in any way...

He wasn't training to be a better Stormrider, he was just training to make sure he can stand any kind of pressure, so that he'd be able to stand against Sora's wind.

And I'm thinking Sleeping Forest is somehow still going to lose, since Sora is the main antagonist and Ikki has to fight him. Also, hopefully, Ikki and Ringo can make it there before the battle ends. Ringo is the leader of Sleeping Forest, so she has to participate. Ikki isn't part of Sleeping Forest, so he'd have to sit it out and just watch.

Actually they didn't believe she was kidnapped because they thought she was on her wrestling trip. It was never stated when she left and if she's not showing then she not that far into her pregnancy.

I'm SOOOOOO happy Sleeping forest was not pwned offscreen.

Now we can actually get a chance to see all of them in action and better yet a real match between Kilik and Sora.

LOVED this chapter!

I haven't been this eager to read the next chapter in a while lol.
