well, that was totally anticlimatic =/
and here I was wondering when we could see Negi tricking some1 else into using a big spell only to turn it back to them again... I kinda wanted to see Negi's (1001 Arrows + Freezing World + Titanoktonon) X Ouka Houken, so that was pretty disappointing.

It's certainly a possibility. You'd think Chachamaru would know if she did and have already told Negi and Asuna about it though, if that were the case.

We're just saying Chao could have left behind some technology that could help them. I think that's unlikely though as Chachamaru would probably know of it and have already told Asuna and Negi.

True, but does Chachamaru know the full extent of the plan? She may accompany Negi everywhere now as his secretary, but I don't think Asuna would tell her about her sealing, else Chacha would have told Setsuna and Konoka by now.
