Livebearer lost as expected, and it looks like maybe Toriko's cells evolved again.
It was a fun arc, looking for the next one

Looks like it's gonna be an interesting chapter...I hope they at least show Coco and match beat up the chefs. I don't want another cut away and then come back with the enemies already laid out.

Good chapter. It'll be interesting to watch if the anime makes it to this point, but seeing as in the anime they're censoring all the the blood and battles (most likely for the kids), I wonder if they'll be doing the same with all the drinking, poisoning, killing, crimes and drugs going on in this arc, not to mention that perverted chef. How they'll do it is beyond me though. Chances are they may skip it completely.

Nice climax of the arc. Coco's awesome. It's just a shame we didn't see the fights. And was sort of surprised that Livebearer was near to fodderdom when it comes to combat fighting.

Overall, liked this arc. Shima did well thinking about this.

I knew Livebearer would be a sore loser. But I didn't expect them to cut out the fight. And what makes it worse was that Coco beat him and we didn't get to see it.

Also, Toriko might get a 2 for 1 deal this arc. I never expected the combination of what he ate plus the poison potato at the end would make his cells evolve. If they get the meteor garlic I wonder if that will make his cells evolve again.

Nice chapter. LB was disappointing, I wouldn'T have mind a additional chapter of a fight. Coco sure is smart, he wasn't portrayed to be this smart, so there are some new character development right there. Now Im wondering in how they will get the information. LB is out, so how are things gone work out?

The chapter was good, but still a bit dissapointing at the same time. I actually expected them to show a good and interesting fight against Lifebearer, but he was just offpaneled.
Even though Coco was a real genious.:) His plan was really impresive. It would be great to see some other combinations like this from him in the future.
Also, Toriko's cells evolved and that's interesting. It would be great to see if he will get Meteor Garlic, because it might make his cells evolve again and that's would be great, because as I see it for now all the other Heavingly Kings were stronger than him even with his monstrous 36 Ren Twin Kugi Punch.

Coco sure is smart, he wasn't portrayed to be this smart, so there are some new character development right there.

I don't know about that. He came off as pretty smart in the Jewel Meat saga where he spent an entire chapter explaining how his newest poison attack worked. I remember getting about halfway into that explanation and flipping ahead a few pages to see if he was going to nerd out for the whole chapter.

Liked the chapter quite a bit. Toriko usually eat things all willy-nilly, so a chapter where we learn the consequences of pairing certain foods together was exactly what I wanted to see. And Match almost got to do something! Off-screen fighting for the win. GIven that we probably won't see him much for a while, I was glad we at least got that.

Here's hoping there is actually some Meteor Garlic in the casino. I know Livebearer said there's data for it in his mind, but there's data for a lot of things in his mind and he still had those items in the casino's vaults.

The card game was good and intense, but I also wanted to see LB fight Coco! In the end he was weeaaak....

Poor Coco, he did all the job and it's Toriko cells which evolved :-)

I'm really curious now how they will retrieve the Meteor Garlic. I can't imagine they steal the memories in the way Livebearer did.

Yeah, Coco is smart and a great tactician. A lot of the moves and decisions he made were based on reading LB as well as the knowledge he already had. This arc really showed off Coco's thinking skills.

I just realized that I was so disappointed in the fight not being shown and wondering how they will get the Meteor Garlic, that I forgot all about the information Coco was looking for about Atom...the drink for his full course. I wonder if he'll get that info as well.

As the arc continued it was to be expected that LB wouldn't be their fighting villain. He isn't their main goal because he was eventually more or less match's aim because the Underworld Cooking Society had released several highly illegal narcotic ingredients and they were plaguing the hungry children.

Toriko's aim is the meteor garlic and I wonder what info LB can and will give them. Btw, anyone else thinking that the bishokukai might be near to kidnap LB?

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if next chapter, a GT robot appears to abduct LB. And who knows, the Bishokukai might have their eyes on Meteor Garlic too. After this mini-arc, I suddenly craved for some action.

Same over here, LB is on their abduction list and bishokukai is well informed organization which isn't sitting quiet.

My biggest question is also what the basic conditions are. The meteor garlic's place of origin is totally random. LB is a swindler, this is proven by his attitude during the game. I don't expect that he has the ingredient, it will probably be a vague stolen memory which will be a hint and the rest will be up to toriko and co

Well, if they really wanted to make sure that LB won't trick them, then they should get the memory from him like how he takes it (though it's unlikely). Or, if ever there's really a GT Robo(s) that will be after him, maybe he can deal with Toriko to protect him in exchange of him telling the location.

Seriously, those are not that plausible for me so I really want to read the next chapter now so we can see how Shima will play it. XD

I totally agree. At first LB seemed like a worthy opponent but as soon as the arc continued he was a swindler and nothing more who cheated during his game. I really don't understand how someone can be disappointed with the current pace. LB and his narcotics dealing are Matcch's concern. Komatsu, Toriko,... became LB's aim but on the other hand they are only interested in the meteor garlic. They don't care about LB hence why his defeat was fast and off screen

In according to a post I made about 2 months ago about Livebearer being one of the names Bishokukai mentioned they want to get their hands on and after reading fkm's comment I wonder what would happen if they are brothers and Grinpatch is the one dispatched in order to kidnap him and we see that Livebearer has also memorized some Bishokuya's fighting techniques and now he will be defeated and taken captive in an on-screen fight.

Also I don't know why but I want to see his nose broken it has to strange a shape.

I hope we don't have Toriko and Komatsu transitions chapters after that like last time, rather more about the others subplot and then a new ingredient arc
