Luffy vs. Rob Lucci. That was one of the best fight in One Piece, due the the emotional investment and the many power-ups both of them went through, with the first (I think ?) appearance of Gear 3rd.

Even though my personal favorite fights vary a lot in difference of everything.

Luffy's vs Rob Lucci is still a fucking awesome fight. Therefore my vote goes to that. I personally liked the entire Arlong Park Arc and therefore also Luffy's fight with Arlong, his fights against Enel and Crocodile. And most of the fights of Sanji and Zoro, but the fight against Rob Lucci was just fucking bad-ass.

Usopp vs. Luffy - I had never been more saddened (I mean that in a good way) after watching a fight. To not know who to cheer for, and to see the pain in each of the character's faces when they were struck by someone who'd they'd traveled with for so long... It was an emotional fight for Luffy and Usopp and an emotion evoking read for me. -nods-

I support Luffy vs. Usopp. Because fights don't have to be about big techniques or strong opponents. Every punch and dial they were hit by must've hurt so much more just because it was from their best friend, not to mention how much it must've hurt inside to punch your friend in the face with all you've got. There was never such mental torment and emotion behind a fight again (okay, maybe Luffy vs. Lucci, but in a much different way) and thats, in my opinion what makes this fight great. It wasn't filled with tension because you were unsure who was gonna win; you knew from the start that no one would, really. It's the pure emotion of friends being ripped apart against their will that makes the fight intense all the way through. Watching this in the anime the first time, I won't lie, I had tears in my eyes.

Not saying that it wasn't at all a good fight in terms of fighting either, because Usopp really got to show off his "Usopp Tactics" (my nomination for favorite non-DF ability) against someone he knew how to fight. But where that style of fighting is usually used as comedy in the series, that was all turned around in this fight. Every lie, every ketchup stain and egg to the face which would normally be funny was just seen as tragic attempts to best his captain who he knew was much stronger than him - but surprisingly, it worked quite well. Not to the point where you were ever unsure that he'd be beaten by Luffy, though. But again, in a fight like this, no one wins.

It's been my favorite fight since I first saw it with eyes filled with tears.

I'm surprised of all these Luffy vs Lucci and not a single Zoro vs Kaku. That's by far my favorite duel of Enies Lobby. Luffy and Lucci fight took forever all the beginning is always the same until they get out. Even Blueno fight was better, the introduction of Gear 2 is one of the great moment of One Piece.
But well, my favorite battle in one piece is part of one of the least loved arc in One Piece : I nominate the Groggy Ring.

I nominate Zoro vs Whiskey Peak. I just loved this small arc on Whisley Peak. Zoro was awesome, his little fight with Luffy, vivi trully introducted in the story, first appearance of Robin, crocodile being revealed as well ...

The fight where Zoro defeat all baroque works members is priceless: Very funny, No downtime, Silly characters, ...

I also Support this. IMO this battle was the "tipping point" to bring this New Age of Pirates to life. Not only the end of Ace's journey, but the point in Luffy's journey where the long term stakes were raised greatly!!

Luffy vs Crocodile! Surprised no one nominated that, if possible I would like to imply the fight as a whole. First time Zoro got worried for Luffy because he was facing such a dangerous man, first big villain and first time Luffy lost, all of that made the final the best!

Luffy vs Lucci, the first and only battle on the Grand Linetill now in which both opponents fought without help and without having advantages/disadvantages. Luffy beat Crocodile besides his strength and his will because of his luck finding out about Croc´s weakness and also Robin´s help, Enel lost because of Luffy being the only person unaffected of his lightning attacks. Moria lost despite having the advantage of having stolen Luffy´s shadow and despite having Oz.

One of the hardest choices! In the end went with the one that was more emotional and more One Piece-y of the two, because the two of them are both the best of the best, I am talking about Usopp vs Luffy, it was a battle that no matter how much you watch/read it, you always end up discovering the fabric of One Piece, which is the most important thing of why we all love One Piece. The second choice is Luffy vs Lucci, though that was one sided with emotion on Luffy's part.

I guess that was to be expected, I didn't like this battle myself, I find it the least interesting of Enies Lobby. On the contrary I'm happy that Usopp vs Luffy made 2d place.
