This was a good chapter. Pretty sure it's Dino in the shadows as he is the co-captain of Reborn's team. Also Fon isn't really weak. It seems like he wasn't used to his body and his clothes. Also he is going up against another Arcoboleno so of course this isn't going to be easy. I wonder what's going to make Verde transform though.

Okay, moving on. XD I'm glad Amano at least had something about someone having to adjust to their normal size. I mean, it has been years, and going from one foot to like six or something has got to be a least a little disorienting.

I loved the little one-sided rivalry between Mammon and Fon and how Mammon resents him for this and that, lololol. So amusing. <3

I'm kind of wondering if Mammon/Viper is actually a girl? That shine on Mammon's lip...Amano normally only puts that on girls, right?

Anyway, awesome chapter. 8D I hope Dino, who I'm pretty sure is the guy in the shadows, will join in!!!

Sademi, I think you may be right about Fon's uncursed time being up soon...perhaps he'll accidentally use it all up, transform back at the worst possible time, and then Dino will have to jump in to help out his tutoree? *w*/

I also really wonder what the significance of that sound was. It may have been the sound of Mammon's technique starting or it may have been what caused Fon to doubt his victory--it seemed to hold more meaning for him than XX and Hibari, who were just confused by the sound.

Yeah I think it's Dino too what leaves Skull Team to be facing no one, unless Basil is figthing then alone what should be impossible I guess..

But something has bugged me in this ch. well it's pretty well known that Fon and Hibari are alike in appearence (with no explanation yet so far), and I've never really thought about it but in the moment Mammon appeared behind Fon he/she resembled me mukuro/chrome is it possible that behind that hood he just like Fon that is similar to Hibari he/she would be similar to his nemesis? (it would be even more strange if it was since Mammom and Fon seems to have an difficult relationship either)

Xanxus look quite amused with Mammon transformation. I'm a bit said for Squalo, and I'm even sadder that now I believe that the other team that will get out in this second day will be varia, I soooo wantend to see Xanxus vs Mukuro.

So now verde, what does Amano-sensei have under her sleeves for him, can't wait to see...

Agreed with Hibari when he said "things are starting to get intersting" when the 4 of them clashed, yikes Fon turned out to be a total badass! and ye i can definitly see the resemblance between both Hibari and Fon in both looks and strength.
I'm not really that glad to see viper's adult form although the rule he set is a bitch, btw lols at his mini flashback with Xanxus.

I think that the team that will be defeated here will be Varia team. Dino will step in and save Hibari plus saving Fon... and if we think about it, it doesn't make sense for Mammon win here... We already have Verde's team with 2 genjutsu users like Mukuro and Fran. I like Xanxus too, but they will lose here... Fon was already owning xanxus...
In the end i think Hibari will join Tsuna team... maybe because Fon will give up from this Representative battle due to no uncursed time, and its pretty obvious, Fon is not really interested in the prize... only in the truth about the curse

I hate how the long awaited Hibari vs Xanxus battle got sidetracked this chapter.

Hopefully Hibari's quickly pwns Squalo so he can finally get to the real battle with Xanxus while Fon takes on Mammon.

umm Squalo's watch is destroyed right after Fon's dragon attack which was so awesome!!!!! loved this chapter. the team is mammon + Xanxus vs Fon + Hibari and no other team mates. This better have a great outcome, and most likely one of these two teams is going down. I wonder if the hotel will still be in one piece. I so want mammon to be a girl, but I don't know why??? Maybe it would be like the relationship I-pin has with Fon and Hibari. The way the author made Mammon talk in this chapter was some what proof. Oh well hope the fight is a least two chapters long, and no surpise (like a three way fight dino vs hibari vs xanxus).

Wow team Mammon is down to just him and Xanxus. Wouldn't be surprised if Varia is knocked out of the tournament by the end of next chapter or Fon fails somehow and gets Hibari's watch destroyed.

Wow nice chapter though i find it strange that it was so much babbling from the 2 parties involved in the fight and the 3 minutes limit on Fon's watch didn't get consumed in the end ;)
Well anyway i liked how Mammon managed to bring Xanxus in the fight , lol i should have imagined he will be brought there eventually with some kind of trick , nice job Mammon :thumbs
And yeah like i imagined Squalo is really strong and not a fodder like Lussuria or Levi though it sucks that his watch got destroyed :darn . But i must say Fon and Mammon are really amazing . I totally loved that dragon attack of Fon . And Mammon looks nice in her present state as well , all the arcobaleno were pretty hot :teehee

The chapter was good.:) And we still don't know who's team will be out next and I suppose it would be Fong's team.:) I believe this chapter was in order to show how strong Fong and Viper are and thus we'll get how good should Marmon be to take them down. In one on one Marmon doesn't have a thread of chance against Fong, but with such tricks he might win. For now he just needs to destroy Hibari's watch and the fight will be over, thus I believe everything might end in the enxt chapter or in the next two.

That chapter was great! Fon and Mammon are awesome and I never thought before that Mammon can be a girl but now I think it's pretty sure. Their contradictions between physical and mental prowess are so subtle. If Reborn intervene I will hate him forever. And I just realised that arcobaleno in their real forms aren't the same age as i thought before. Judging by their looks seems like Verde is the oldest and Mammon is the youngest. At leas it seems to me like that.

Mammon looks younger than Skull.
We don't know anything about Mammon since Mammon is the misterius arcobaleno(do you remember the rankings by Fuuta?Mammon was ranking first as the one who has more secrets).
Mammon looks at the same level of immaturity of Skull.
I think Mammon is the younger arcobaleno,even if Skull is young he looks older than Bel(i think Skull is about 18)-while i think Mammon is around the same age of Bell,or a bit younger.

Well I want Fon's team to be out... First of all I don't like the idea of Xanxus being defeated by Hibari. Second of all I don't like this "Hibari is the strongest" thing when he's not really... I like Hibari but really...author should work some more on his main character personality cause I don't know how after so many chapters, fights and arcs [Without dying will flame]he still is exactly the same "No good Tsuna" he was at the beginning of his journey...I start to doubt Reborn's tutoring skills. For once arc should end with personality upgrade and no another power up for the team....sooner or later it will be ridiculous how strong next main villain is and Tsuna will have to gain "dying will flame" on nuclear lvl.

Well I missed those because I'm usually participating in discussions about Naruto. Watching Hitman Reborn anime made me pretty certain that Mammon is male.

Next chapter we will see more of him/her and maybe it will be clearer.
For example we need to see his/her hands,in reborn all the boys have bigger hands even if they are petite boys(Tsuna,Fran).
I think(and hope)Mammon is a girl,she/he looks petite and has a delicate face.

Well, this is interesting, most people think viper is a girl..Now, I don't know which sex viper is, but I do know there are some characters in this series that dress a little off...When it comes to gender, I don't call out in any anime series, I'll wait until I see the face or it's verification.

I always assume, viper was a male anyway, if it turns out he/she is girl...I would like that better to be honest, we have enough strong males as it is..

I have the feeling that both Viper's and Fon's teams will be out of the competition in no more than a few chapters.

It would be interesting to see Verde in his adult form, but what reason could he have to use the temporary curse removal? The only thing that I can think of is that maybe: adult body = bigger brain. A bit far fetched, though, haha.

I think when Verde releases his curse, he will turn into Mcguyver,lol. But seriously I think he can use his ability to invent things at a quicker pace, like probably in the blink of an eye. He was known as the Second Coming of Da Vinci so that's what I expect.
