Hello, again. :hurr
This week's edition is about the most favorite romantic panels/pages in shoujo/josei series you read. Well, yeah, romantic is romantic. Feel free to attach a picture of the panel/page, but make sure to put it in spoiler box so no one would be spoiled just in case~ :3
I'll start!
In Midnight Secretary, the woman who originally worked for the vampire-boss wanted to return to work for him. At her new place she was promoted to head of secretarial department when she wanted to resign. She also heard that her old boss would get a new secretary. She fainted when they met, and when she told him what she felt, how she didn't like it, how she still wished to be his secretary...

That was very sweet because her vampire-boss wasn't the type to express his feelings much, so when he hugged her, although simple, it expressed how much he cared about her. <3

In fact there is not much romantic scene in the few shoujo i read :-)
In Kimi ni Todoke, i guess
chapter 39 with the confession of Sawako to Kazehaya was quite moving. In particular when she can't say it without the wall between them. How can we don't understand each other to such a point !
In 7 seeds there are not much romantic scene so far at all but the only one I can think of is also one of the most beautiful part in the story
When Mitsuru dies dancing to rejoin Fubuki while giving all her clothes to Takahira. Man did I cry when I read this scene !

Another one of the best ever:

CLAMP did amazing job with Watashi no Suki na Hito. Brilliantly conveyed, various love-related feelings girls have deep inside. Also it is inspirational to know how it may result too, though the stories told there might be a bit too sweet. :P

My most favorite, because it makes my heart melts every time I read it:
They went back into Nanami's memories twelve years ago and Tomoe met the younger Nanami who said she wouldn't marry because men are unreliable (cue irresponsible dad). Tomoe said that if it's him, he will make her happy so Nanami asked if he likes her and he answered...

Argh, slow internet connection is annoying. Well, I will update this post once I can get the pictures uploaded. :33
Anyway, among my recent most favorite romantic pages...
In one chapter amongst many chapters of Akagami no Shirayukihime, there are few pages in which Zen and Shirayuki talked about their future. Because they wanted to talk somewhere more secret and Shirayuki's leg was weak after her their confession (which was very cute), Zen took her to a room and answered her that he would love to have Shirayuki by her side.
It's just... Not much romantic, maybe, but I feel their determination and devotion to be together and work on the obstacles. Just sweet. <33

This is romantic for me, but for some others, this might be a little bit too "hot".. :hurr
It's from Watashi ni xx Shinasai, so for those who have read it, they'll know what I mean. :teehee
Anyway, I think this part is really romantic because Yukina only asked if he's there, but Shigure answered that he's always been there. Awww~~ :lovebunny
It's simple, but it carries a deep meaning since at that time, I don't think Shigure realized how deep he has fallen for Yukina.

If you want some more hot stuff, you should read what happened after this scene. It has something to do with licking. :hurr

Just stumble on it today and it really cracked me up, so I thought to share

for those who wonder it's from a web comic called my heart is beating. It's from the same guy who wrote Annarasumanara. Last chapter was out today, and I really recommend it, don't be afraid by the weird topic, it really is worth the read.

ah from one of my favorite anime of all time:
lol I was supposed to post and realized I wanted to post an entire chapter. hhaha.
chapter 128 of Fruits Basket, it's the first time any of their feelings have been said, and it really squeezed my heart because it was the penultimate chapter of the entire series :blai

I want to cry and laugh at the same time when I read this. That moment when the girl chooses the one she loves.. it's just so romantic. *melts*

No words, but that's why it is so much more romantic. I don't particularly like the series (which I bet you know of) but I love this particular scene.

Visiting this thread and I saw this post again. My heart aches in pain and anger. :mono

LOL~ It wasn't as touching as it probably should be for me. At that time my mind was too confused to understand the whole plot, so I was happy but was not hyper about it, haha. But it does have its sweet moment. CLAMP sure know how to give deeper impression when no words involved.
You know the funny thing? Check the first post of the favorite confession thread. See the resemblance. :hurr

When I first read it, I was not that touched too... but after reading again and gets an inkling of the plot, I see that this scene is very, very touching, considering their history.
Only the positions really. But the characters are different, their expressions are different, their story are different, and CCS!Syaoran says something while in TRC, there is no word. I guess no word can describe the feelings they have in TRC. If TRC!Syaoran said I love you like CCS!Syaoran, I think the effect won't be as powerful (since here, both of them obviously know that they love each other, as for CCS, Sakura is just so dense, Syaoran has to say it :fail).

now you make me wanna read TRC. -_-
I started reading it and about some three worlds in I was just too... I mean I felt it was probably too much effort to read this thing. I don't like action shoujo much, lol. makes me use my brain too much. :gwah
Although I did finish CCS.

LOL I was reading TRC when it was still being published so we could take things slowly, discussing the crazy plot while waiting for new chapters to come so it wasn't so exhausting. I once planned to re-read TRC to understand the whole plot better but I gave up immediately. And TRC is popular for the mind-wrecking plot twists at the later chapters... So yeah. XD Still it was quite a fun ride.
CCS is too lovely not to be read, and you're so mean if you don't finish it unless you just have the series for something else but the plot and graphic. :XD

oh but I did like CCS, and it remains nostalgic to me since it was my first encounter with CLAMP... and probably... my first shoujo.

I think TRC is awesome for confusing even the mangaka themselves... :derp
I don't read CCS, only watch the anime. Am I mean? :oh

It's probably my first shoujo too (in case of the anime)... since one of the earliest memories I have of watching anime is watching CCS.

not mean but... the anime never got to show what the manga offered, and to make matters worse, I think the dubbed version chopped and changed a lot of things to mask the darker side to CCS that clamp was always keen to.

TRC is just too exhausting. Maybe that's why it ended like that. :XD
And what baboysai-chan said about CCS. I read the manga and watched the anime, but I recommend the manga more. The anime is very long, a bit too long for my taste. While it's actually fun going around catching cards and turning them into Sakura cards... It can get a bit boring sometimes. (And I used to hate Mei Ling for getting in the way between Syaoran and Sakura lol~) The manga has this right pace, right length, and the scenes give more impact in manga. Ultimately, the confession scene.
But maybe that's just me. Not that I hate the anime, of course.
