I nominate Ybienne from Ciel ~the last autumn story~ for Best Female Character. She is intelligent, beautiful, witty, and even street-smart, but her most definitive trait is her nihilism. Her burden is that she does not know why she is alive, without any will to live, without anything to live for: no dreams, no ambitions, no love. She is such a rare character in the world of comics/manga/manhwa, and her character development is central to the plot of the series. The heart-aching portrayal of her feelings makes her a unique and memorable leading character in a decidedly unique and excellent manhwa.
