Well Shiwoon has pretty much hit the bottom of the barrel after the events of last chapter. His mother is in a coma, and now he believes his only hope is a pill thats completely useless unless you know an attack is coming beforehand. So of course he feels useless.

The fact that there is only 1 pill left leaves me to believe its going to get serious here soon though. No more of that shit. I wonder if he is planning to go ahead and use the pill now for training or save it as a last resort.

Anyway, not much action this chapter, but as Bludvein says, it seems like we may get an update on Shioon's ki-center-cure or an alternative to the pills he's currently using soon. Gotta wonder what Jinie & Ji-Gun were talking about though...

Bludvein I agree. I think his pill sucking days are over and he is going to become bad. he is going to get it back. I predict, though I am almost always wrong, that Shioon will go for a new ki center in 6 more chapters. then we will get 6 chapters of no Shioon. All Jinie and Ji-gun, and Sera, and Ha-il. Maybe add a little bit of Smugs and Hyuk and Kangsung. Then tada Shioon fixed ki center.

Got stuff to do in five minutes but if a scan hasn't been released by the time I come back I'll post a more detailed summary. Just a few interesting tidbits regarding the good doctor Be.

I think that one moon guy will give the doc an idea as to how to make the medicine. Because right now the medicine is like a firecracker. But what we need is something that acts like a sun and can burn for a long time.

is it just me or is this gearing up to be the end of part 2 and on to part 3 part 1 ended in a dramatic fashion with him having his ki center destroyed and being introduce to the murim world and this one is gearing up to the same direction with shiwoon getting his ki back and shino coming back to life or whatever here name is

I don't think Be has any intention of fulling restoring ShiWoon's ki. At the moment, he trades pills for ShiWoon's blood. If ShiWoon's ki is restored, then no more trades, yeah? Sure, he might experiment around, maybe make a pill that lasts a bit longer or gives more strength. But if he does, it probably won't be for ShiWoon's sake, but rather for himself, whether it be a more effective way of getting ShiWoon to pay up for to sate his own curiosity.

The impression I got from Be from this chapter is that he's part mad scientist, part drug dealer. He doesn't see ShiWoon as a person, but rather as a convenient and interesting thing that provides him a special ingredient he can use to further his medicine making. He appears proud of his pill, he states that "there's nobody in the world who can stop once they've fallen for the charm of my pill." Which is a colorful way of saying it's addictive. It has to be. It grants you shittons of power... but only for a short while. Once you're out, you need it, because you feel weak without it. And ShiWoon's fallen for that trap. He's grown to rely on the pill because without it he has no way of using his ki. He burns through them quickly; he uses them to fight, to train (at least that's the impression I'm getting), etc.

Too bad, I was kinda hoping the doc would pull through, but he turns out to be an asshole. Now we can't trust anything he said about Shioon's ki-center, because he might've lied to keep the blood coming.

I wish Shioon would've taken Sera's lessons to heart and question why the guy is helping him.

Sure sounds like he's intentionally trying to keep Shioon as his cash cow and that Shioon might've already obtained a permantent solution to his ki-problem had the doctor been of the more honest sort. :notrust

... Makes me wonder whether Sera knows this or not though (her clan did copy the pills, so they might've caught on)...

This is kind of getting boring. Instead of going further with the story and the upcoming conflict between Shiwoon/Sun Woo and SUC the author integrates another subplot which complicates the story unnecessarily. The story was really prepared good til a certain point, Shiwoon despairing because of his weakness and a glimpse of what challenge he had to overcome, namely the same as his master not to succumb to the darkness with which revenge can tempt you with. The BHT was/is basically an embodiment of this darkness. Now though, we have to deal with a stupid idiot who is supposed to be the this bigshot and master plotter of New Waves (smugface )and a doctor who will literally drain the life out of our protagonist. Shiwoon on the other hand is as naive as ever, never doubting the hand that reaches to him to help. I just hope the author can overcome this low point of storytelling and connect to the ways of Breaker 1.

I think it is just Shioon crying in despair of being helpless and having to depend on others for his own safety. He started as a disciple to 9AD just to avoid such situation and now he is in a worse situation than where he started. He cannot help himself let alone others, all while carrying a responsibility like being a Gaju.

what i hate in this chapter is Shioon losing his mind and always thinks that doing things secretly (pills from the doctor) can help him he always take things secretly maybe he should left the Head position and run away if he does not need help of the others around him it will not a bad decision if he ask Elder Kwon about restoring his Ki Center but in the end Shioon becomes a junkie :)

but i do recall at the final chapters of the breaker, he was at the martial art alliance building
when the final clash of Nine arts dragon vs Three arts dragon happened.

Also i think there might be a possibility that some prolonged time ki-medicine could be produced, also with temporary lasting effects.
Sun-woo clan did specialize in high speed movements, teaching their own members and other students their martial arts.
If the first four elders (is the first generation), does this means theres also many more of those out there? (second generation)
I did recalled that Shion was protected by 5 great sun-woo clan master class fighters, or somewhere along this line..
Or am i wrong? (Southern Red Star was one of the stronger members within the Sun-woo clan)
Though makes one wonder if there are others.

If Sun-woo clan alone is strong enough to be a 2/3 of the murim world, then it indicates they do have many more strong people :s
Also they mentioned splinter factions of Sun-woo clan, does this mean those splinters also got their own kind of variants of the original martial arts of Sun-woo Clan?

About Elder Kwon following Shioon might be a possibility, he did once, why not twice?.
Hmm i'm reading a bad vibe here, S.U.C. has been way too quiet, also i did noticed that S.U.C. was expanding their influence.
I highly doubt that they will get even more powerfuller then before, but i might also be a possibility.

There's also a lot of unanswered questions around revival of Shi-Ho Lee, if it works with her,
does Un-Wol or other bad people get revived back? i doubt this, but can't take this possibility away.

S.U.C. nor Black Forest Defence have acted lately, so what's the hold back?...
Also its not like the entire Martial Arts Alliance is going to play sitting duck and gets kicked around by S.U.C.

The supernova's also makes me wonder, if there are more like those, annual or rarely..
The murim world is quite interesting, thinking that its just a part of the world, though makes one wonder if there are many other alliances or groups?.

The ten great murim masters, titles given away... but what if a murim master hides his skills with very bad intentions?.
It would be hard to do so, but i also cant take away this possibility.

Right now all I'm hoping is that all what this arc is about is for Shioon to gain knowladge of murim world, and to grow up into a personality that can not be shaken by any word, what so ever, coming from the enemy and stand behind the principles Shioon himself believes are the correct one's (Shioon bare handedly experienced what the 'absolute bottom' in murim world is, thuz knows what awaits all murim and normal people alike in the worst case scenario !!!)...:mono

later everybody Shioon, both doctors and people from Shunwoo clan would realize they can benefit one from another. Which is to develop a cure for Shioon on one side and for Shiho on another side, plus become rich when discovering a new type of medicine that could heal untill now some disease's, which were unable to cure...:derp


Shunwoo clan to go in war with Martial Arts Alliance(making people like Kangsung, Hyuk, ...) his enemies, but at the end realize that the main problem is a clan Hyuk originates and individuals from somewhere else, in other way known also as the main ringleaders that established Black Forest Defence, and who are really the bad guys standing behind everything, what would at the end GMR realize, thuz come back to his sense again...:)

I can't understand why you guys are so pissed towards Mr. Doctor. He said he would restore Shioon's ki centers (not to Shioon, so we can trust those words), he admitted he has a PATIENT and for treating him he needs very expensive facilities... and that's what the blood's for. He's acting like an ass because he kinda has to, imo, if he wants to get what he needs. Also, I believe he's some kind of a runaway from his clan of devils, meaning that he's a good guy... just a bit mad, since he's a genius. I'm sure as hell he won't try to harm Shioon. Ever. Not unless it's strictly necessary to treat his condition (and I believe this is the case and that seeing Shioon as an ingredient is actually a psychological trick to help Mr. Doctor himself do what he has to do to help Shioon).

i am currently re-reading everything of the breaker new waves.
i also discovered the actually third s.u.c. leaders identity (or just a presumption, i saw her photo at the martial artist alliance conference)
When they we're discussing the new waves of young promesing martial art masters..
Also saw Smiling Blade.. Haru is quite a pretty ><''

Also i did noticed that Ji-hee (Jinie) is atleast one of the 5 strongest sun-woo martial artists.
I do think that southern red star is atleast one of the top 3.

I could tell that Jinie is the only guard Shioon had.

Also that S.U.C. is still increasing their power and influence
Noticable at ch 1 to 34 least.

They wanted to recruit Smiling Blade a promising master class martial artist as one of their captains.
i also could deduct that they are trying to consume the amount of new waves, promising masters.
by asking or convincing them to join one by one, if they disagree dispose of them.
(in this case with Smiling Blade they failed, as one S.U.C. captain or more people tried to persuade him and failed to do so.)
[also they tried to dispose of him] then they critically injured him and also cause false rumors go around.
thats how he got expelled from his school. (he got framed for S.U.C. mess)

Smiling Blade was angry, and then sought the person responcible,
then came to Shion, with Sera (heavenly maiden school) wants to be Miyang head.

After a while she has to get rid of Shion, in order to succeed the title.
but she refuses, afterwards Sun-woo clan promises her the Miyang head title.

Then starts to help Shion, but true motives still remain unclear,
theres not to much information released about it.
Miyang head, tries to cut the bonds between Shioon and Nine arts dragon.

Supprisingly she fails, because Shion is driven by vengenance, he wants revenge for what S.U.C. has done to his mother.

each S.U.C. captain has a amount of team leaders under them, which leads the squads.
each squad is about a few 5 to 10 people.
Seeing as how the Dark princess S.U.C. captain used a large amount of S.U.C. members,
i would say 5-10 squads, it quite a large amount of people.

I couldnt find out about the lonewolf and the s.u.c. captain.

When the cool guy captain confronts Shioon he says:

My guess is kwon follows shioon, and realizes how shiioon's been able to use martial arts( the pill) and also figures out that the doc is trying to USE shioon, thus I bet he'll come out of hidding and threathen the DOC to make a permanent pill for shioon or he'll kill him...basically an ultimatum.

The Ilwollsindan - the medicine pill Shioon ate in Part I - is the highest caliber of wonder drugs found in the Murim. The problem though is the Ilwollsindan is too powerful to safely consume. Shioon is the only known case to have succeeded, partly in thanks to his master teaching him the Black Heaven technique (it's the only reason Shioon is still alive btw). With the Ilwollsindan still being present in Shioon's system, he's a walking medicinal ingredient.

Wait what ? :blink I don't think that's the case . I mean we already saw 9AD right and yeah it's true that they kinda resemble each other but there's no way they are the one and the same person IMO. :^_^

Hell no shiwoon would have guessed it if it was true, and we saw GMR in Germany or somewhere.
