Okay, manga colorizations were okay too here in the art thread? Yosh. Here's one from chapter 60; Jio has so cool eyes. This pic's going the be in Jio fanlisting's layout and it's story is funny: the original pic in the scanlation was actually pretty small. When I tried to scale it bigger it became blurred. The shadows that Seishi had done were looking weird when the eyes were cropped from the rest of the face.

So I actually took a paper, put it on my TFT screen and TRACED the pic! XD Then I cleaned it and scanned it again and then it was big enough. Then I had fun for hours with the program called Gimp.

I like it, but it got a lot of lines running diagonally on the big version. I'd work on getting those away :)


It's a distort effect called "Video", and merged with the other layout the image most probaply works. But if it goes wrong I don't know if I still have the "un-videoed" image anywhere. :s

@nawulf ... would you mind posting the uncolored version as well? I wanted to try some eye coloring for a long time and this pic would be the love to train with it :D

Hehe, the effect is kinda neat, but jpg (again) destroyed it. Maybe a png would be better. And oh, here's the bw version:

No, its called live trace. Its a function in Illustrator which enables you to trace any figure and make it vector shapes instead. It's not 100% accurate, but pretty damn good on anime if you ask me. The one of cross in Metatron state i used that and a little tweaking manually by adding certain missing lines and then final sketch brushup in photoshop

hehe, that dog sketch was funny :XD Just the perfect imitation of them, and personally i don't think it was that bad, the mane on Ruby ithink would have been better if you colored it all the way down tho instead of the gradient/transition method you used now :)

Yosh minna-san~! I did a complete revamp to my first post in this thread. Now it's much more cleaner and easier to use if you want to see my fanarts. Plus, there must be like tens of new works you haven't seen! Go check 'em out! >:3

You need a naruto doing Rasengan vs Jio using Zero R and both of there attacks clashing casting the shadowy figures of the kyuubi and Satan behind them on their respectable sides and then one with Kyuubi 4 tailed naruto vs Satan in final rockbird fight jio clashing
