there has been alot of stylistic changes recently to the bleach anime - a majority of which has disappointed me - however, after watching this episode I really feel like it is coming to terms with its style/look; and Im relieved to know that Nara Animation was back in the driver seat for this particular episode

over the last several episodes it has bounced from Hanjin Animation to J Cube Animation, and now finally back to Nara - who I hope will countinue the rest of part II.

the tone this episode generated felt like this "calm before a storm" - alot of serious story elements, with an occasional hint of comedy - gotta admit though, Hiyori's voice I had pictured in my head to be alot more masculine simply by the way she carries herself - but other than that - watching her and hirako interact is priceless. :p

For some reason I enjoyed this chapter abit more than the two last (even though the animation didnt seem to get any better), and judging by the preview, the next chapter will have alot of people excited :)

This episode feels like an appetizer for the main course ^^ On the menu, we have.. Vizard, Arrancar, Soul Society, ex-Shinigamis and 2 Quincys. Can I take your order? :p

Well, Ichigo and Ishida are at a crossroad now.. I wonder if Ryuken has any association with Aizen or is he just another independent player.. and the Vaizard doesn't seem to be the bad guys.. they kinda remind me of the Bounto.. especially when Hiyori said she hated both human and shinigami.. And she somehow reminds me of hitsugaya :XD maybe her expression? And the voice actor of hiroka sounds a lot like the voice actor of spandam in OP!! I like the way he's able to run on air..And I also wonder if Ryuken and Isshin might be rivals.. o.O

I take it you do not read the manga? that is to bad because this weeks chapter was a doosey.
back on topic, Yeah now that you mention it Hiyori does kinda remind me of toushiro-kun most notably because of the spiky hair and the way she wears her Zanpakutou.

I'm just glad that the animators have started to really get a hold on how the characters are supposed to look, this time around. If they can keep it up, then next week's episode will be great, for sure.

You can't really call them good either, Hiyori tried to kill Orihime just because she had good looks and a good name.

But if she had really wanted to kill Orihime, she wouldn't have let Hirako carry her off. :p There isn't really evil intent there..

I think she really wanted to kill Orihime after all Chad told Orihime not to follow them if not because the Visored were much faster then it's because Hirako would kill them. What I am saying is Hirako - as a visored- looks down at both humans and shinigamis and doesn't mind killing any if it was up to her. If not bad, the visoreds aren't good or noble either.
