Beautiful cover page. It would be better if only there's a bit more background detail.


Pretty! I wonder if Hoshino is going to continue the trend of white-background covers from now on.

I had the same thought. If so, quite pity IMO coz DGM color background were quite awesome.

Its a pretty well coloured cover, but I have some complaints:

- First of all, ever since Hoshino started serializing the series in SQ, its like all her colour pages look the same (white background, same colours, etc...)
- I'm kind of tired seeing purple and light colours being used. Why can't we have awesome colours like the ones used in Timothy's cover, the Science Division's cover, etc..?
- Again, the white background is just way too plain...
- The cover seems to be missing something. That, and Allen is unecessary on it.

In the previous kanda cover (vol2) he was with that "misterious person" that's probably Zhu from Asia Branch (i'm not sure, was this his name? The guy that told Kanda to never mention the flowers). He's an important person to Kanda (he went to talk to him when this arc started)
In this cover, his place is occupied by Allen: that means is Allen the most important person for Kanda, even if they are always fighting each other.

I guess you mean "expulsion" ^^

but still this arc. does not have much of allen... so its hard to tell why he was placed on this volume cover..... in my opinion Alma should be there too as its generally him and kanda story and not allen (who appears only like in 1chapter on few pages...[and few panels in some other chapters)

so it would be better in my opinion if this volume cover had at least alma in it (like alma,kanda and allen in background)


well we can look on it under the skin... and so we would see that allen was taken to the NA branch due noah ect. but still Earl main plan was to awaken Alma (allen is just a bonus there)

Well, Allen is possessed by the 14th right on the beginning of the volume, and he watched the whole flashback, so I guess i'ts normal to be on the cover.
But I don't really like the white background, I mean, I think this cover could be a little better, maybe with Alma and etc. (nothing against the white backgrounds, I like them, but not this time)
Although my favorite cover it's still the volume 10.

Kanda is wearing a rosary and the Buddhist bracelet (at least I think someone mentioned somewhere that it was Buddhist.. I'm ignorant). It's interesting how "accessories" from different religions can be randomly thrown in together.

Anyway, the rosary combined with the uniforms and the position of the two of them is... kinky :p

You should be happy that you just put Idea's in my head. But you have a point.

I personally am in LOVE with this cover. (Mostly cause I am a hardcore Yullen fan.) I mean, not only the color scheme, but everything. The drawing of it, and the people *Drools* But seriously, am I like the only Yullen fan here? I doubt that. I also think while it would be cool to see Alma on a cover, I think it's better to have Allen, cause remember the 14th and what he said "I will kill you and become the M. Earl (To lazy to type the first part...)" That could be one reason (I still love that moment.) Another, could be because Allen is inside Kanda's memories.
Hell, it could even be that Hoshino likes Yullen! (I wonder if someone has asked her that before...) (I would be happy if she did...) But I doubt that...

But people, stop your complaining! It is still a beautiful cover no matter what and you know that!! (I am very sorry for being mean.)

Okay, so that everyone else minus you guys does not throw a hissy fit, let's not get into a pairings discussion. AKA no "Hoshino likes xyz". No comment on fans forcing the mangaka, cause even if it was in support of my fav pairing, I'd still feel sick that they have no appreciation for the story and art.

Look, we have 6 chapters (189, 190, 191, 192, 193, 194) in this and only 2 of them have major Allen appearances, the second only having 25 pages. That is not the same as Alma and Kanda who had appearances in all of the chapters. Allen was just not a major character in this latest set of chapters. In previous volumes, the covers have had the dominant characters on them and/or symbolism. This has neither. I can only conclude that this cover was drawn to increase attention to DGM. Sadly, it only makes me sick to my stomach. I really hope Hoshino knows that she is pulling the trigger to her traditional fans.

Simple review: Kanda's great. Timcampy's great. The color scheme's great. Allen is not (find a more unflattering pose for him to prove me wrong.)

A traditional fan it's me: i dont like lenaxallen pairing, i dont usually read dgm doujinshis or similar, but 2 characters together can do something great (there are a lot of great friends couples in the literature/media story): Kanda and Allen are a great couple (not sexual considerations here) they fight each other but fight together: they share dark pass and traumas and the two of them know about the other. I think this is great: their relationship is an important corner in this manga so: why not share a cover? how many volume covers do they share? (Kanda has 3 covers now) This one it's good: two fighters that have a break.

(Actually, Allen has appeared only in 4 covers of 20 volumes and it's the main character! xD)

also, remember: there's not much Alma she can show because he's still mysterious looks wise. If she settled on old!Kanda, she probably wasn't going to put little!Alma, and old Alma only just got revealed (and i'm talking about his ch194 looks, not what he looked like when he was sealed in the floor. Logically, if she was gonna put Alma, it would be his recently revealed form. But that would be major spoilers, and would limit anything else she could put on the cover. so.....second main character after Alma is.....allen? so yeah. that's my reasoning atleast xD

I was actually expecting *that* picture to become the cover, but i'm happy with the one we ended up with, too (I am also happy with the lack of purple for once. Or any other strange colors for that matter. I never thought i would miss the color red so much...).
I do love Hoshino's coloring, don't get me wrong. But once in a while I'd love for her to use normal colors. I loved the last picture we got of Allen and Kanda for that reason. It feels good just to see something different once in a while. : )

Now.. I would love Viz to come out with like, a special edition of vol.20 with the alternative cover included or something. *wants*

Way to make me spend money, Shueisha, because you just know that I'll end up buying everything, volume 20 and the latest issue just to get the alternative cover :]

Like earthforge, I'm not exactly raving over volume 20's official cover (for similar reasons), but I am looking forward to the short comic that's usually included in the inner cover. I liked the previous one about the Noah, hopefully this will be just as hilarious.

And maybe Hoshino will shower us with more 4-koma comics (Bookman's auction, etc) at the end of the book, I actually liked this new format more than the previous one about D.Gray family (the one where she changes the dialogue in the original comic into some kind of cracked up family drama). Even the early interview format was better choice since they give us insights about the characters.

I'm hoping that Hoshino does a bunch of 4koma again. Last volume reminded me of Fullmetal Alchemist with all of the little strips at the end (as well as the hilarious inside cover).

In volume 19, there are three 4-koma comics (+ an additional image of Lavi complaining) spreaded over 2 pages :'D I'm hoping for a similar amount for this volume. Otherwise, there are also some extra pages between chapters. These pages can be filled with anything--interviews, D.Gray family gag, drawings by Hoshino's family, random images, character stats.

Initially, I had thought that 194 would be left out, so that would leave her 21 - 24 pages for other materials. But even with everything included (2 pages of character info, 4 extra pages in between chapters, 2 pages of 4-koma, 1 content page, 1 title page and 1 credit page) there's still about 10 pages left to fill. :blink

OMG! *hugs TC* Thank you so much for the info! Where's my copy, dang it! Gosh, they sure look young for their age! Goodness, I can still believe Touyi's age to a certain degree since she's rather mature but Edgar looks barely a day over 25 O.O But I guess all this makes sense if they are indeed Bak's parents. And thanks for the link too! ;D

And yeah, 番外編 is like a side story/gaiden of sorts (Jap link) (http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%95%AA%E5%A4%96%E7%B7%A8#.E7.95.AA.E5.A4.96.E7.B7.A8). It either has no direct relation to the main story, is something that happened between chapters or it might be an inside story.

Under the front cover is a short with the Millenium Earl (human form) and Lavi wearing the Earl's usual form as costumes. Allen might be in it as well. "Eh, Lavi's a stuntman? Hooray!!" "Boy? How do you feel about being taught a lesson with needles in the soles of your shoes?" I have no idea who says what.

I wonder if Volume 20 says when Volume 21 comes out? Since chapters 194 and 195 are already published, it would make sense if Volume 21 comes out in four months. It would be agonizing, to say the least, if we have to wait six months for a volume again. Who remembers when DGM used to come out every three months? Me neither.

Title: Volume 20 Behind the Scenes
Here, the Earl is taking a 30-minute break from his work as a stuntman. His next scene is the 'Allen and Tyki crashing onto the Earl' scene. And he's happy that he's able to work on such action even at this age. Lavi, on the hand, is another stuntman because he's just too free. Same for Timcanpy, who's working part-time as the road doll.

And Tyki asked Allen (calling him shounen) if he wants to add nails to the soles of their shoes before they make this scene XD

Also sorry that the scan is rather small. I'll see if I can upload a better one so that you can see all the text properly.

Though, I just couldn't figure out why Hoshino chose to fix the bubble in Allen's panel. Obviously the symbols were funnier :/

Yeah, it would have been nice if this was included into Chapter 194 (after all, 194 is so short). I was hoping for some reaction from Bak since we've never seen him interact directly with his parents and I wanted to see how he was in the aftermath. Still, this little short chapter is beautiful too and I'm glad Hoshino did show us a little of the aftermath (despite how short it is)

One thing that I find quite peculiar is Touyi's words, 'Promise you won't protect us, no matter what it leads to. It's what all of us in the research facility want.' It's almost like all the scientists involved in the 'Second Apostle Project' were welcoming death. I feel like this comes to show that they are all reluctant participants in this project and they are actually relieved that it has finally come to an end.

But then again, if they all agreed to accept the consequences, why did Touyi chose to let Renee go? In the final panel, there's a crack on the wall and I assume that Renee escaped through there with Touyi's help.

Though, this explains why Bak was so upset about the Thirds. His parents' sacrifice will mean nothing if they continue with those human experiments T_T

Edit: And I was wondering what is that little detail that kept on slipping my mind ever since this morning. It was revealed in Volume 20 that Volume 21 will be released in November this year. Which means, that's another 5 months to go D:

@earthforge: Bak seems to believe that Renee was forced to work on the Third Exorcist project (considering how he was going to charge to the Central until Fou sat on him) but I'm not too sure about Renee though. In Chapter 185, she didn't seem all that reluctant and unhappy about it and when Bak asked her why did she do it, she told him that the previous attack on the headquarters made her realise that in order for humans to prevail over Akuma, some sacrifices are necessary, which seem to echo the ideas of Leverrier.

Then again, Bak and Renee were the ones who sealed away the Order's dark legacy, so I guess she just had a changed of heart ever since. However, I do believe that Renee meant well when she took on the Thirds project, the Crows were volunteers after all and she certainly didn't expect the consequences to be so severe.

Come to think of it, how did the Earl know about Alma anyway? Legory Peck mentioned that those who have reached the level of Section Chief ought to have an idea of it. So that would mean that the newbies, younger recruits and lower level staff wouldn't know and only those in the higher level has knowledge of it. A traitor somewhere? Or is the Earl really that well-informed?

Ah~ In chapter 185 (http://www.onemanga.com/D.Gray-Man/185/02/) does anyone notice how uh....richly Renee is dressed? that was the first thing i noticed when that chapter came out. I mean, she's wearing leather, fur and precious stones. She's a scientist, and i don't believe they get paid directly (money may or may not go to ppl's family), but she suddenly looks really rich....
I also remember when the 4th akuma attacked, she had an out righ look of horror on her face....so i think it wouldn't take too much of leverrier's energy to coax her into continuing with the project (plus, she said that she like Leverrier more than Bak). Like someone said, she was the only survivor who knew of process of making 2nds, so she would be the only one able to lead 3rd project...

I also went and reread chapters of Ark Arc, and realized that Jasdebi also knew of Bookman clan, and provided they're like, 17/18 years old, Bookman clan probably worked with Earl a few years back. Kinda worried if Bookman Sr. is a spy, since we know he is much more neutral than Lavi....or if the Bookman before Bookman was with the Noah. Then, we also have possible brokers with in the order that may be leaking information. Heck, knowing that Cyrill is a governer, it's possible that Central/Branches are accidentaly leaking information unaware that they are leaking it to Noah.

Well, we all know that the Earl's human form is a high-ranking British aristocrat, and that someone from Central murdered Cross. I think it's quite possible that the Earl or one of the Noah (Mightra or Lulu, probably) are directly involved with Central.

Either that or there's a broker involved. I doubt a broker would be in the Order, but there's definitely someone in Central leaking info to the Earl. Remember the files of Allen and Cross that the Earl had?

@earthforge: I would like to believe she's conflicted as well but she's also equally determined to do something about the situation rather than sit back and take the next blow (though she probably didn't expect to make the situation worse than it is). Between Bak and Renee, I would say that Bak is more idealistic and soft-hearted while Renee is much more down-to-earth; their approach pretty much reflect their parents'.

MSofAofCOCA: For some reason, I always believed that the more influential families, like the Chang, Epstein, Leverrier are considerably rich. Their families have been around for so long and most of them held high positions, surely they receive some sort of funds for their services. In the first novel (Bak's story), Komui did mention that he was able to increase his research funds due to his position (and we all know what does Komui uses it for), so it wouldn't be strange if Renee uses it for other purposes. Besides, I always thought Bak is more vain cause he has a change of attire every now and then and more frequently than others, certainly more than Komui XD

As for the Earl, I do suspect that he has some contacts within the Order and Central (and from how he's easily able to obtain old and confidential information, it's probably someone of a high rank). He might not want to completely annihilate them yet but surely he keeps an eye on them, and with so many Akuma (that can take human form) in his service, I think it's rather easy for him to send a spy. Doug from the novel became an Akuma and he still managed to get pass their radar, similarly for Lulubell later.

I only mentioned the cover because some people might have forgotten which volume I was referring to. And I made the comparison because I thought it'd be an interesting point of discussion.

Also, I don't really quite think that the better sales of other series will affect the sales of DGM. The stark difference between 18 and 19 can be explained by the shift of the manga to SQ and the hiatus then. As for 19 and 20, there's not much difference, and Jaymie said, it could possibly just the time it was published.

Yeah, Allen's scar isn't blue anymore! It started off as red, turned pink, turned purple, and then Hoshino started drawing it as blue for about a year and a half. And now it's pink again.

The past two volume covers abused blue and purple like woah and there was white space everywhere. This one is back to Hoshino's old style, and I love it.

About the pink tones in Japan the little boys were dressed in blue - the color of the sky to protect them from evil spirits. The girls weren't thought that important to be protected that way so there was't special girl's color. Some guy centuries later decided to think up of a girl's color and picked up pink. That guy was't even Japanese if I remember correctly. So pink was not originally girlish color, especially not in Japan.

hmmm well if we take into account the title "litle goodbye", chapters 194-199 and allen as noah on the cover... the big eye could simply be "wisely's eye" becouse he kinda was responsible for awakening alma (and took a big part in wakeing him up) which resulted later in allens awakening ^^ (like it was responsible for what happened to allen and alma)

I think that's because, in the last chapter, dgm doesn't had a color page and everytime a volume goes on sale, the series win a color page. I think that's it.

it has strange looks becouse all those dots but its in japanese... (lots of kun's and san's there...)

example first bouble contains "koro okaso" later "sonjiou-kun" and more more names.... I suppose its hoshino's thanks to her stuff (assitants maybe) for all the work in this year...

Yeah, I noticed that too :p It was both clever and cute, in a way :tem The Code symbols are nice to look at 8'D (the Aesthetic Me is talking) an the clown moon is creepy o_o Reminds me of the Earl, it's probably the evil grin :p

I must say that after comparing the art of volume 1 and volume 21, it astonishes me how much Hoshino-sensei has improved over the years! I've never seen a mangaka developing as much as she has! The art has become so beautiful and detailed(seriously, when I see the latest chapters in book-form, I've decided that I'll never ever complain again about short chapters again :blink she really puts a LOT of work into every scene, and has even retouched all the 'messy-looking' pages ;))!
The mangapanels are much more professional *_* and the storytelling has also improved 8D It's much more "Showing, not telling", I like that ^^ Oh God, I'll just encourage everyone to buy DGM in book form, because you really see the difference :zomg I'm totally gonna buy volume 21 in English too (in the future), and then I'll cut every single page out of this one and frame them and hang all of them in my livingroom cuz they're all so beauuuutiful :zomg :zomg

Most of these are just cleaned or 'finished', but it really makes a difference! And some are redrawn too :P But I wonder how much the actual raws are 'messy'(or have thicker lines), because there can be a lot of changes when a chapter is scanlated.. but oh well, enjoy again! :D

looking at the raws from the volume and the original scanlations i have to say that the art is much more acceptable because of the thin lines, the thick lines made it feel sloppy and made it difficult to follow what was going on in the story...thanks relory!

As you can see, by Volume 22 we would've been basically getting volumes 2 months after they were released in Japan, and then we would be getting Volume 23 before it was even out in Japan!

If someone (that own a copy) notice, both of those hilarious story are back stage for The Rose Cross Journal 1 & 2 cover. Not the volume cover.
(Someone remember? This very short newspaper of Black Order was first introduced in Reverse 2, though the name itself first used in Gray Ark)

Both are extra from vol 21 and reverse 3 and featured the updated profile of the model. There's a high chance that there will be more of The Rose Cross Journal in future.

I'm not 100% sure myself, but I think it's more to do with the state of the workrooms in her home and her studio. She's quite meticulous with the interior of her home workroom (e.g. a bit obsessive with how it looks), but she's more lax with the studio one (e.g. it's messier there). Since she spends a lot more time at the studio though, she recently prettied it up a bit (hence the picture in the sleeve?) but it's still kinda messy...

If you look closely, the Earl in that picture, in addition to wearing the same hat he wore on the night of Mana's transformation into an akuma (http://www.mangareader.net/210-15094-14/dgray-man/chapter-3.html#14), also has a picture of a crown on his coat. And his hands look strange... almost like the ribbon that Allen wore like a tie in the beginning of the series -> http://www.mangareader.net/210-15094-2/dgray-man/chapter-3.html#2 *I'm too lazy to look up a better picture, but I recall it being red, since that's how I've always drawn it*
Coincidently, in Allen's weird mind-trip back in Chapter 198 when he first met/saw Neah, they're both wearing similar ribbons -> http://www.mangareader.net/210-57363-13/dgray-man/chapter-198.html#14 I think the ribbons must have something to do with linking Allen, Neah, and the Earl together. I wouldn't be surprised if the Earl wore one in his human form, or if there's some picture floating around of Mana wearing one.
This is kind of unrelated, but I've heard a red ribbon around the neck can represent slitting one's throat, or just death. What with all the things linking Allen/Neah to great Destruction, I'd say this isn't a coincidence.

I must be rambling and/or restating lots and lots of old stuff at this point. XD Also, the figure of the Earl in that picture appears to be much taller than Allen. (If you compare them on the actual volume, it appears much more obvious) Maybe there's going to be some kind of time skip at some point? Or perhaps since the Earl has both his normal form and a human one, maybe Allen will end up doing the same?

Either way, imagining Allen masquerading as the Earl like that seriously freaks me out. :D Kudos to you for pointing that out, relory!

Oh, the bonus manga that are usually on the insides of the covers? I thought you were talking about the blurbs that she puts on the actual cover flaps. Now I know what you're talking about.
For some reason Viz Media/Shonen Jump seems to be very inconsistent with which bonus materials they put in the volumes. I checked, and all I can find for the 19th volume are the blurb from the cover flap and the little 4-koma comics she has. However, I have that volume in Japanese and I see what you were referring to. :/

For the third volume I can't find any bonus materials at all other than the cover-blurb.
As for the 15th volume, though, I found a bunch of bonus images in the Viz-translated version. I don't know where they're from, but I'll scan them and PM them to you as soon as I can. :)

I agree with this. Viz used to do such a good job on the earlier volumes that I didn't mind buying them. I prefer to have the actual manga in front of me, but it seems they are doing a poor job recently. And this isn't the first time they translated Marie as a "she." I know Marie is a female name, but he doesn't look feminine at all. I don't see how they can have such a horrible mistake.

I just got my volume 20 and it doesn't seem like they did too bad of a job. (I'll need to examine it a bit closer) Though the Noah's names are still the literal translation which is just weird. At least they got Edgar's name right.
They've always just been pretty bad on the names and stuff. In some of my volumes Lavi will randomly be Rabi and Reever Riba. Quite annoying.
Personally not even the earlier volumes were that great either.
I hate how they turned 'womb' into Mother's Body. womb sounds a whole lot better. These Viz guys need to learn a thing or two from our translators here.

The first four volumes were hit-or-miss. We got lots of Linali's, Riba's, Rabi's, etc., but after volume five things started to stabilize.

Though I believe they do sometimes spell Komui as Kamui, even in the later volumes. And they can't seem to decide on Lvellie's real name. Revelier, Rouvelier, or Rouverlier? They're all wrong, but they could at least go with one of them.

OMG, I just bought my 21 volume today! Its sooooo beautiful! I can't scan it right now, but i'll do it this saturday (02/18) or next Saturday (02/25), so I will reveal some details about the volume:
The volume contain a poster of Allen and Kanda (that pic that was cover of Jump SQ last year).
There's a lot of change in the images, Hoshino re-draw many things and it's so beautiful! I loved!
That poster of strip Allen is on the volume, but that poster of Lenalee and Kanda (section of photos 2) didn't come with the volume.. =// (maybe in the 22 volume?)
And for the end, this volume is saying that volume 22 will be on sale on June/2011. That's it. When I scan the volume, i'll post it here.

Gray-Man is published by Glénat, a French publisher, but the're some differences: in France, they add the extras and also the inner covers I was looking for (I've volumes 6, 7 and 19 in French). They also respect the typography for the serie's logo, which they don't do in Spain, but some panels seem of bad quality (I think they're a bit blurred) and some dialogues difficult to read (when there's a little space for the character's lines). In the other hand, the Spanish edition is a bit little but, they add an extra space in the spine of the volume to let you read it better (I mean, sometimes you had to force the book when the dialogues are too near of the spine). But in the rest of the terms I think they're good editions, without name's spelling mistakes or things like that.

But sometimes, they don't publish the draws of d gray man fans (of Japan). But it's ok... they put even the posters. So, i like they work.

DGM is definitely going to last a while. It's hard to believe that it only has 22 volumes. Bleach nearly has 50, Naruto is reaching 60, and One Piece is reaching 70.

Hopefully Hoshino can make slightly larger chapters to... pick up the pace a little. AnE averages 40, so even ten more pages a month would bring things a long way.

Think DGM is more likely to reach 45 volumes. We seem to be about halfway through the series, with many but not all of the main players introduced, and the plot finding it's direction. I agree with Jaymie, Hoshino could greatly improve her mileage sotospeak. That goes against the effect Hoshino might desire, which is to maximize the emotional impact of this arc.

Lovely cover. I'm glad Lenalee is getting attention, she's likely to not have much after the most recent chapter.

I don't read Bleach, Naruto, or One Piece so I don't know anything about them being ruined at all. However, I did read Katekyo Hitman Reborn! for a bit. And let me tell you, THAT story line has been dragged through a field full of nails and I really dislike it now. It would be a nightmare if that happened to DGM.

Wow, finally in color!!! It's awesome and yes, it is more realistic in its colors, at least, according to what we'd seen about the official version of Black Order's uniforms. The expression on Lenalee's face is so sad... I love it!

@Asclepius: well, I think they're not pink, just a color between pink and light (?) purple. In spanish I'll say they're fucsia... For the Innocence, it seems that Hoshino has employed a deep red pencil more than a red one. Same for the uniform's adorments, except the buttons. And I like then more than purple, wich seems to me too much darker. In the other hand, fucsia and deep red are more feminine (but this is only my opinion ;)

Well, volume 22 contains the very end of Kanda arc, so it might keep the 400-450k copies of sales. Maybe more cause of the cover. ^_^
Kanda fans + Lenalee fans = double win. :P

i'm pretty sure that it will sell more than 500.000 copies. This volume has what lot of fans of dgm wanted: Allen leaving the order! I expect at least 450.000 ~ 500.000 copies in the first week :))

I like it but i still think the vol3 cover is more Lenalee-DGM. I dunno how else to explain it but it just doesnt strike me with awe like other covers. Maybe its the colors or the pose i dunno. The last great cover for me was perhaps cover 20. I got all the volumes released in english, so ill ofc but 22 when its out but the cover slightly disapoints me.

But this volume has a "B" cover, like the 21 where were alma(akuma), kandaxalma kids, zuu, bak etc. We didn't see this second cover already.

Well, we don't know what characters Hoshino will choose for the backcover (Link perhaps and transformed Thirds? or maybe only Link, Sherryl and Fiddler?) and the volume's inner cover (the funny one). And there's also the character/s for the thanks page, do you remember Neah in the 21st? ^^

You're right, Lomahongva. I forget that there's still so much more to see. :D It's really exciting. Too bad the US won't get to see this volume in English for quite a bit longer. ;-; Seeing the back cover and everything else will be great. And if anyone gets the volume right away and sees some of the pages that Hoshino had touched up or redrawn, please post some comparisons!

Link's hair is well-colored. I think the color scheme is going back to the way it used to be. :D

What a backcover!!!! I'm not sure of knowing a brilliant adjective to descrive it; it's so awesome... Apo looks more terrifiying than in the black/white chapters... And Tikky is more tanned but it makes him sexier. And there's Link,... he deserves it:tem.
The Order's main building (I think) as background...that makes it greater.

The omake... may be Allen has been charged for the damages in the Order... Waiting for tha translation:tem

In my opinion, Hoshino's back covers are better than the front covers.

And wow, very little purple on the back cover! Hoshino's purple copic must've dried out from all of the overuse.

Don't really have the time to do the translation of the omake atm, but the paper is basically one of those fortune-telling slips that tell you how your luck will be like in the future, as well as some comments/advice on some aspect of your life, e.g. love life, whether you'll find lost things or not, etc.

The one Allen got is bad (凶), but at least it's not the worst one you can get (which I think is 大凶).
