The Rikki-Tikki-Tavi Thread
Hi,
My interrests are learning Japanese, playing homebrew on my PSP, waiting for Oblivion (the english collector's edition is danm hard to get in Germany...), graphics (I could be an editor, but my time is better spent lerning Japanese), programming, re-reading Kipling's "Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" and, last but not least, translating.
Did I mention, i'm Inane staff? I'd supply them with high quality raws for Whistle, but they paused the scanlation. I'm mod in their forum and admin in their channel. That's good enough for me.
I like Sushi, Nattou, Manga, Ramen and Unagi. hmmmm... Manga.
I hate Umeboshi, any kind of ginger and crackers and script kiddies.
So ask me stuff, if you want to know anything.

I hope Inane picks up Naruto again soon, they were ( and perhaps still are ) my favourite of the big three...
Why do you prefer a PSP over a DS? ( assuming you do )
What part of Germany do you live?
Are you planning to continue making DeathNote translations from now on?
What's Umeboshi? :huh
Re: The Rikki-Tikki-Tavi Thread
1. The psp has more hardware for homebrew.
2. I don't have a DS...
I live in Berlin, but I was born in Frankfurt
This is the first time somebody is asking me that... everybody was kind of assuming it (cf. frontpage). Well... I have to see what I can do. I usualy only have one and a half hours time before my Japanese lessons and after school on thursdays when the raw usualy comes out. The next 3 weeks (this week and the two following) I'll have more time...
After all, it's not a bad bet the series is over till then...

It doesn't rot, even in 100 Years, because even bacteria have their pride.
Re: The Rikki-Tikki-Tavi Thread
ever thought about translating 666satan? ;D
Re: The Rikki-Tikki-Tavi Thread
I haven't even thought about reading it...
Re: The Rikki-Tikki-Tavi Thread

Is there a reason not to do that? :) Berlin is awesome! ( *has only been there once* )
Re: The Rikki-Tikki-Tavi Thread
Khal, I'm curious and that's why I ask.
When I was moving it was because of my father's work so I want to know if RTT has experienced something similar.
And, RTT, which town do you prefer? Frankfurt or Berlin? (And do you mean Frankfurt/Main or Frankfurt/Oder?)

I can't decide... there are some very good movies... Forest Gump, Goodbye Lenin, Matrix, Cowboy Bebop...
Books... I like english literature. Like the story of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, or "To Kill a Mockingbird". Other than that I read all kinds of stuff... fantasy, sci-fi, some Manga, occasionaly...
My mother works for the German gouvernment. So when everything moved to Berlin, so did we.
It's Frankfurt/main. When I first arrived in Berlin, at (something like) highschool (Gymnasium Unterstufe) everybody was picking on me and gave me a really hard time because I talked and behaved differently. Narurally I came to hate Berlin. But now in (something like) College (Gymnasium Oberstufe) I've got a lot of friends and everything is quite ok, so I guess the score is even.
BTW: I'm 18.
How old are you, Miso, and where do you live?
