HI welcome, yes it would be nice to see scans of all the original characters, Ive only seen the umbrella person so far!
Lots of kids submit postcards with original character drawings to the author's public mailbox, and their assistant choose a few that stand out. Then the author picks his/her favorite.
In Naruto, Kishimoto faithfully reproduces the submitter's character... is this not included in the American/English volumes of Naruto?

lol yeah right. the only thing the english volumes have is kishimoto's stories. hey boyakist, i know the address to send it to, but does it have to be a post card? so kids draw there characters on postcards and send them? hmm.....i dont think i have ever used a post card before
I don't think so. You can just draw it on a plain white paper (legal or letter size) and send it in an envelope. The picture wouldn't be so clear if it was drawn on postcard, right? :amuse

...I think actually is exclusive of Japanese volumes, has anyone seen in Glenat (Spanish publisher, actually French?) volumes if are those designs published? . Woohoo! I was hoping you'd do this again, thank you, Eagle! Keep this up, I'm loving this. This one has Kakashi written all over it, so it's not as original, but I rather like it. I liked the previous one at bit more due to it being more original, though it wasn't completely original. A bookworm, huh? I'm guessing that's a female due to the feminine face and body structure, also the fact that the original artist was probably going for a "Kakashi's sister" thing here.
