Baccano!

I recently watched Baccano! and it was such a great anime. I highly recommend it for maybe fans of Cowboy Bepop or even Samurai Champloo. There isn't that much violence but when there are, it's very gory. Don't say you haven't been warned!

It's only 13 episodes long but a great 13 episodes. Though I must say that the ending was a bit disappointing because I thought the anime could've closed better. But it's nothing really big.

Baccano! starts slow and even watching the first episode I was going to call it quits but I stuck out til the second one. That's when things started to pick up. After the second episode, I just couldn't stop watching. It's that great or I think lol. It's also a bit confusing though which might also add to this anime's appeal. The anime jumps from different time periods to present and piece together a very interesting story.

The character designs are very interesting and most of them uniquely refreshing.

Hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did.

Yes I can agree, I can advice watching it too. I watched it recently during christmas and it's awesome. It's like pulp fiction X godfather x FMA anime.

Pulp fiction: it's a moasic anime - playing on different levels/places that are matched together
Godfather: it's about the maffia of course
FMA: Alchemie and homunculus are (bit) present in this movie

Great opening, lots of characters and great story

My rating: 4/5

It's starts out screwy and you wonder wtf is going on. Now you got me interested in Pulp Fiction because I know it was a good movie but never got around to seeing it.

Lemme know what you think about when you finished it (pulp fiction) but I had the same feeling too and it was fantastic

This anime is so good i finished it in one day >.> I recommend it strongly, there is a bit of philosphy (Vino and his solipsism) and a lot of blood <3

And i've read somewhere the anime only covered the four first light novels of Baccano! so there might be a second season, at least i hope there will be one ><

This anime was awesome...really...the ending was also incredible

It has some kind of creepy characters but the ending is exactly how I wanted it to end and some pretty much. Really awesome.

Also, Firo owns...coolest character in this anime.

While I enjoyed the first episode, I have no desire to continue watching.

It just doesn't grab me. I dunno.

Did you just watch the first episode? Baccano doesn't seem to take hole of your interests until the latter half of the second episode. That's when things start going down.

Personally, I thought it was going to a boring uninteresting anime but I decided to stick with it and man did I make a good choice. After watching the entire series, I now come to like the first episode. It's one of those things where you won't appreciate it until you saw the whole thing.

I completely agree - baccano is a serie that's getting the better each episode

I won't forget the famous roof train scene, with the mess when they fall off - vino helps them etc

Is there an irc channel or website where I can grab direct downloads? I'm not a big fan of torrents.
