But the summary so far sounds meh to me. Stickertattoos and fantasy battles, hmmm... guess I'm getting to old for that kind of shounen. To bad, Kishi is able to present a nice mature shounen but for some reason he chooses not to do so ;___;

Well, I think hes most likely trying to compete with his brother, who is making a very similar manga. He probably wants to make the next Naruto or Bleach, which are easily accessible teenage shounen titles. I enjoyed 666 Satan, so I will probably read this one too.

I know, but seeing some happenings in 666 Satan (e.g. when Ruby enters and leaves Jio's soul or when beloved people die) are very touching and mature. Both brothers have a fantastic feeling for those topics, epic and dramatic scenes, but then especially Seishi always turns back to - rough said - kiddie shounen. I really like 666 Satan but I would have loved it forever if he just would have kept up that level of storytelling through the whole story.

I'm afraid with the new story concept he goes even more back to "shounen light", loosing a lot of potential :/

But well, first reading then screaming. I'll give it a try at least :)

I look forward to this one and it can't be worser than 666satan. Don't misunderstand me, 666satan always gave me mixed feelings: one way I liked it a lot but on another way I disliked it a lot too

The main character is jio-alike but for me it's good to something like that: people who were keen on 666satan will be relied to a character in blazer driver. They'll say: ah, jio was cool, this character will be too

The content is vague and can work out well
