Here's a checklist of things to do to the page:
- Slightly apply levels to the page.
- Rotate the page so it's nice and straight.
- Remove the text.
- Resize the image so its height is 1100 pixels.
- Typeset the page! (translation below)

Re: Editing Practice #002
There is already a new editing practice? Damn totally missed this one.
Re: Editing Practice #002
Ok as far as editing goes what exactly is it... it seems to me it is a lot of typesetting and a little cleaning... can I get a more in detail explanation of what it is.
Edit: Finally Full Member Status!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Editing Practice #002
Finally Hero Member status!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
90% of all manga scanlation groups out there do NOT use magazine scans. They use volume scans instead, and therefore there is no such thing as a "cleaner" to them. Thus, they go and recruit "editors" who are expected to be able to both perform the minimal amount of cleaning AND the typesetting.

It's a little more complicated than that though I admit the cleaning part is easier overall than with magazine scans I have had some serious challeneges in recreating drawing where text once was among other things. And depending on the group and what kind of scans you use some gutter shadow can be worse than magazine scan cleaning. ;)
Re: Editing Practice #002
When Tanko scans are used the Editor is expected to do both the typesetting and the minimal amount of cleaning. The big things that an editor spends time on is redrawing behind text and connecting two pages in a spread.
Any group that considers themselves HQ would never use scans with gutter shadows. Scanning is always done after debinding the tankoban.

Your image link seems to have gone all 404 on you. Might want to rehost, possibly to a more stable host? Imgur, perhaps?
