I love this quote. It's in a situation when he, after travelling alone for a long time, is responsible for protecting a close but helpless friend of his. He is chased by creatures all the time, and suddenly feels heavy responsibility for the first time. Because now he cannot fight like he used to did, in a reckless style as he didn't care for his own life, but has to survive to protect her this time...
