- allen's new powers didn't mean anything, while he's supposed to have general's level -> [b]explanation: maybe allen's new innocence isn't not well evolved yet[b]
Maybe it's better for a break, better clearing out the story on a not so complex, hasty way. Though I must admit that the last two chapters were good
To me the reviving of Tiky was a patch to the story made to address the fact that if Allen already were as powerful as the Earl, the manga would have finished in not more than 10 chapters. So now we know that he has the power to become the next general.Maybe he can be related to the Noah that once betrayed the clan, that maybe had some children with a normal human. But still he has to evolve to become powerful enough to kill the Earl.Obviously, before that, General Cross will die.
Re: D.Gray-man: long absence?
Please keep on discussing about the absence :amuse
Discussions about the last chapter can be done in the related thread for it.
As well as predictions ^____^
Re: D.Gray-man: long absence?
Shit.... another break huh? all these breaks... i dont think its "sickness" i mean first of all what kinda sickness takes 5 weeks to heal and then if it would be such a major sickness why are they giving a solid date of when hoshino gets back to work again....? Shes just lost and now all suffer becouse she plotted herself to the extent that she dont know what to do....
Re: D.Gray-man: long absence?
i doubt it. she suffered a serious neck injury so i think that it's hurting her again.
Re: D.Gray-man: long absence?
making a manga is not a joke, from all the commentaries authors put in their series you can tell that making a manga takes a lot of hard work. it also depends on the art, and clearly d.gray-man's art is not done in just an hour, even with assistants
Re: D.Gray-man: long absence?
Also, neck and spinal injuries can be seriously debilitating. Every nerve in your body is attached to your spinal cord. If that's really the nature of her condition, then it makes sense that she'd take time off to heal. You can't be hunched over a drawing board with something like that; it's quite likely her doctor ordered five weeks of rest.

Please stop writing in finnish in this thread, yellowpin.
Otherwise, just some members might be able to understand and this is supposed to be an international forum ^_^.
Re: D.Gray-man: long absence?
ich kann auch kein Finnisch (i can't speak finnish either) XD
I'll just wait patiently the next month let's hope she gets better and the manga gets his drive back it has lost during the last chapters (for me: after allen's fourth new innocense form)

Re: D.Gray-man: long absence?
Yowza. Neck and spinal cord injuries are NOT fun, but it's wierd that it would be a planned five week absense just for pain. Maybe she's having some kind of procedure done to fix her neck. It sux though. I'm pretty curious to see how she was going to resolve this whole, everyone's "dead" and Allen's losing it mess. It's ungentlemanly to shriek in front of a lady Allen. >:[
I really hope it's true that HxH is coming back...
Re: D.Gray-man: long absence?
xxxHolic is absent for a month, and D.Gray too... it will be a bit of torture but I'll survive, somehow...
I mean this it this way, at least it's not as long as (well, at least I hope it won't be) that break we had around chapter 70. How long was that? Couple of months, right? As long as the break isn't as long as that one, I'll be happy.

possibility too, the reason behind her absence isn't known official. All the things said, are assumed

ummm... the preview at the end of chapter 129 stated that hoshino was sick. research was the reason why she took those one week breaks though.
