The simple fact that she's the last Fraccion alive tells me that she will have a bigger role than the other fraccions.
she is definately more important than a regular fraccion
just like we all wondered why yammi survived longer than other espada. its the same with her she is the last known fraccion so she has a purpose even if she is only used to show something with stark it will still be important

Lilinette shares probably the most "affectionate"(for lack of a better word) relationship with her Espada. If anything, you wouldn't think Lilinette is really Stark's subordinate, but like his little sister or something.
Yes she's certainly comic relief, but then again so is Ukitake at the moment. Does that mean Ukitake doesn't have a larger role? Heck Kyouraku also usually serves as comic relief for SS >.> Even Omaeda, which is a purely comic relief character, had his own fight and is getting screen time.
It's interesting that Ukitake notes she's immature though. Do arrancars mature in that sense? I mean, unless she was really a very lowly hollow when she got arrancar-ized, is Ukitake implying that she doesn't have access/control to her full power yet?
The idea of the VL regression seems nice indeed although I'd wonder why Wonderweiss goes through mental regression while Lilinette seems, for all intents and purposes, quite mentally capable.
Do you think, that they will be shippers of Lilenette-Ukitake,or worst XD i think the hentai-doujinshi drawers are on their move. XDD

There relation seems already a bit strange (though it's probably more like Old brother / lil sister).
I think that this relation will be important later on.
I think that one will trigger the other (either Lilenette in danger will trigger Stark release, or Stark in danger will trigger Lilinette release, or her awakening as a VL).
She serves a purpose, there's almost no doubt about that. The only way I see her dying or getting hurt is through some kind of crossfire or collateral damage that, like most of you are speculating, will cause Stark to get serious. It would have made sense for Hitsu's ultimate attack that he can't control to have something to do with this since Stark specifically reacted to it, but since that opportunity got passed by, something else needs to happen. But in terms of her being more than meets the eye...that seems a bit less likely. And for all of you that keep trying to dismiss the topic by acting like you're masters of predicting plots, just stop because it's so much more likely that she serves some sort of role, no matter how small. We have the right to use evidence and other kinds of events to speculate, comparing her to Oemeda who's role has already been played out is not fair.
I too don't think she'll die (or rather, I don't want her to. Guess I'm already a Stark/Lili shipper). Rather I wouldn't mind the following scenario:
Stark VS Shunsui drags on and Uki VS Lili will end halfway through either because Lili will be too exhausted to keep fighting, or Uki somehow convinces her to just sit down and watch their respective allies. Meanwhile Aizen & co enter battle after Halle & Barry get killed, cue long fight sequences, vaizard appearances, maybe even a Grimmjow-assisted breakout of Las Noches after Yammy gets thrashed
anyway 4 years from now (real life) all that should probably be wrapped up, with Lilinette and Stark being the only survivors on Aizen's side (not counting Grim because he basically betrayed Aizen to fight Ichigo) and Stark simply deciding to abandon the fight and retreating to Las Noches with Lili, as he's only really fighting because he's under Aizen's command.
I want ukitake to use kido to trap lilinet in an energy ball and to start just bouncing her around(after that barragan can make a woman out of lilinet)....
Maybe she'll do fusion with Stark (or something like that) and become the strongest arrancar/espada. There has to be a reason why a loner like Stark would take in any fraccion, and also the weakest of them all.
