I´ve always wondered something.
In the Jr. Senbatsu Training Camp, they called the 5 best players in Kanto. Atobe, Yanagi and Sanada went there, and Sengoku replaced Tezuka (cause he rejected the invitation). Who was the 5th player in the camp?

I was looking forward to it. I mean, sure the U-17 Camp was cool, but a lot of it has been well below the standard that Konomi set after doing the Nationals.
I'd like to see an MS-only training camp again.

Yukimura is not shown... but I would assume he was one of the members. Pretty sure there were more than 5 though.

Nope, I can't find a page (nor anything else) that states that 5 players were invited (in fact,in the fudomine page just the 4 players I named before are listed).
I'm curious about that camp. It was the same as the camp in the anime filler? Sengoku, Sanada, Yanagi and Atobe were the only 2nd year students there (because it looks like all the other people invited were 3rd years)? WHY DID THEY CHOSE SENGOKU OVER FUJI?!

Even though he would have been better, Fuji likely didn't play seriously in matches or was placed in Doubles all the time due to his lack of enthusiasm in training or something.

What I've wanted to see were Regional Camps again.
In Japan however, Tokyo tends to get it's own Regional team instead of being with Kanto due to Tokyo havin a population bigger than many regions.
I think Tokyo VS Kanto or Kansai or Kyushuu would be cool. (If WoK play for their native Kyushuu).
Although... According to PoT, everywhere outside of Kanto that isn't Osaka or Okinawa are miles below in tennis skills.
Agreed with everything... except that Fuji had already 3 counters at the time (when PoT started, he was already saying " TRIPLE COUNTER..."), probably Konomi didn't call Fuji for that camp just to hype Sengoku.Quote:

But that's the thing since like the 2000s Tokyo have been getting their own regional team in Football (Soccer), Basketball, Football, Baseball.
Depending on the age group.
So Tokyo would actually be just Hyotei, Seigaku + Akutsu and Tachibana.
Kanto would be Rikkai Dai.
Kansai would be Shiten
Kyushuu would be Higa but as a twist I would like Tachibana and Chitose to choose to represent their home region.
Doesn't sound too bad now does it haha.
And my bad, I wasn't sure how many counters Fuji had. I had always thought he was saying Triple counter since he was trying to perfect three moves but couldn't use them.
E.g against Nitobe/Kita he and Kawamura lost, for some reason Fuji hadn't brought out Hakugei when it seems his team needed it.
Then again it could have been due to Fuji's shitty attitude.

There have been a few canon organized matches between schools. Another is Kakinoki VS Rikkai Dai.
If you remember when Kirihara went to Seigaku accidentally, he was actually scheduled to play Kakinoki in a match where Rikkai agreed not to use ANY 3rd years.
Because of this, Urayama Shiita had to take Kirihara's place.
Kuki Kiichi bt Urayama Shiita 6-1 lmao.

Davide and Bane lost to Tanishi/HigaFodder 6-2 or 6-1 at the Nationals.
Konomi has zero respect for Rokkaku. Literally none.
In a Kanto team without Tokyo involved, Rikkai Dai will take all 8 spots comfortably.
Manga!Kajimoto from Josei Shonan was wack. He lost to Midoriyama's captain.
Would have liked a few Midoriyama guys in the camp. Since Kadowaki's here there should be many others.
Kadowaki is unbelievably weak.
Saeki let Yuuta win because the moron was spamming his Twist Spin shot. Saeki knew that it was a dangerous move, so he just let him win before he got hurt.Quote:
