This is a continuation thread, the old thread is Here
We need a thread for talking about one of the best entertainment in... err.. the world? And it's movies! Talk about any movie's you've seen lately or one's that have already been shown, or even some that aren't released yet!
I'll start the topic, X-Men 3 will be coming out May, 26, 2006! And features fan favorites like Beast, Shadowcat and Arch Angel as supporting cast.
Can't wait to see that movie! :tem
I watched "Up" today and it was a great movie.
An outstanding Disneymovie with a lot of creativity, humor and emotionall stuff.
Worth watching.
Was checking out Empire and saw that they had put together a 50 Worst Movies Ever List (as chosen by readers/voters). And man, those are bad movies.
While on the topic, saw Eragon the other day (I know I'm a few years late, but I've been told to avoid it), and wow, was it bad. I was very pleased to see it made this list, where it rightfully deserves a spot. :p Really, you know the acting is bad when the voice-actor of the dragon sucks and still outshines the actual actors.
Legion was AWESOME... if they were aiming for a perfect 10 in the special Olympics that is.
Ninja Assassin
Fuck me.
lol :amuse ^ Was it any good Weapon_X??? :blink
Spider-man 3 is no.50?! I know it wasn't good but fuck me, there had to me worst films out there... but yeah Batman and Robin sucked, I still don't like the idea of major Hollywood stars playing superheroes...it's not believable.
As anyone seen Studio Ghibli's Ponyo? Saw it this week; very good film, I'd recommend it.
On the other hand I also saw Dorian Gray, not so good.
I agree on Spiderman 3, it doesn't really deserve to be on the list. A lot of those films don't. I mean, if the movie was accurate, Uwe Boll would take up #1-10 (at least). But you can't expect it to be all too accurate since it's the readers' votes that are taken into consideration and then it's mostly new movies that's still got a fresh spot in people's mind as really bad that make the list.
And yeah, Ponyo is great, saw it the other day too. It's far from the greatest of their films, and it is one of their more kiddy-ish movies just like Totoro, but nonetheless very enjoyable. Great characters, great visuals and the story was crazy and wild but touching and cute at the same time. ^^
Oscar Nominations are out at IMDB ->CLICK ME<-
Wanna get some predictions/hopes up in this beatch? :tem
Spoiler: Predicitions etc show
That's my thoughts. Lots of categories that I can't see how any common person would care about, so I skipped'em.. >_>
Spoiler: predictions show
@3cmm: with Batman being the exception. They really played with the old Batmans till they were bored. Same goes with Catwoman.
Will put up my Oscar predictions later on, everyone's welcomed to do one too :).
Btw, what's everyone's favourite Studio Ghibli movie?
