nah.... i'm thinking this would be a lot more complicated but to think that earl was the first and implied as the most powerful villain.... I think that it is just rightful for the main character to duke it out with him in an all-out fight..... but i think that alma would not be in this anymore....
i think that it will be earl.though 14th battle would be nice.but i think alleen will survive...but dgm is unpredictable.we will have to waait and see.
i think that earl will be the final enemy beacuse allen should survive.killing him is like killing part of him.
I still think that it will be The Earl, and possibly throw some Road in there.
I mean, that's what the entire series was based on from the start, and I just can't see it happening any other way. Especially with the whole "Destroyer of Time" business.
I think it will be the Earl too but what if Hoshino changed her mind throughout the series and wants to surprise us. Maybe the 14th, after the Earl is defeated. The Earl is really powerful, maybe the only one to defeat him is not Allen but the 14th. And then they have to battle the 14th? I don't know but I still hope the final enemy to be the Earl.
I've always imagined that the D.Gray-man ending will be like Fullmetal Alchemist's. Characters will be matched up against the remaining Noah, the Noah will eventually all die, and then the Millennium Earl will go One-Winged Angel mode and eventually he will be defeated once everyone combines their forces.
Allen and the 14th will fight the Earl.:amuse
no one knows it for now...dgm is unpredictable that makes it exciting to wait and to read...
I think its the 14th unless he's actually good Allen will probably have to fight for control after defeating the earl, and then the 14th might come out and end up as the final villian.
I can see that happening as well. It'll be an epic battle between Allen/Neah with the Earl.
Once Allen and Neah no longer have a common enemy, Allen will sacrifice himself somehow to lock Neah away. Let's face it, that is definitely something Allen would do. And in the end, Allen and Neah will die and be with Mana again.
We'll have to see though... there are just so many possibilities since we're talking about Hoshino Katsura here. After reading the chapter where Allen was nearly taken over by Neah because Allen was going to try and "understand" him better, there is increased speculation about whether Neah is good or not.
I'm beginning to think that the Innocence Heart will be the final enemy ^^; I can't see The Ealr as the bad guy.....
Oh I didn't think of the Innocence Heart. That would make sense too. If Apocryphos is that powerful though, I'd hate to think what the Heart could do. :/ Although if the Heart is going to be destroyed, I can't help but think that The Earl will have to be killed as well. There has to be some sort of balance there.

but who knows it can be a war again with the noah's and the exorcist and allen is on the noah's side, WHO knows haha
well I think that allen/14th ^^ since 14th wants to kill all noah and earl and become the milenium earl.... so he will be the last noah... so maybe we will go the terminator2 path... there is one more chip ^^ so allen will tell that there is one noah left.... and so they will have to kill allen or allen will kill himself (like in T2 film)... so naoh will disappear from the world once for all...
