Well this does sound very interesting, I wonder how they're gonna do it. I suppose it'll be an OVA of one the earlier Black Swordsman arcs
Whatever they do, I don't want to see any fillers, or else I will smash my monitor with a warhammer. An OVA series would be awesome, as it would do the art of Berserk some justice, even if that means 6 months of patient waiting for a 40-50 minute episode. Just like they did with Hellsing, that's a good example. ^_^
they shouldn't have to do fillers, there is plenty of manga material to make another 25 more episodes if they want too.
As long as they do as good as the first series.

But ya regarding fillers. They know this series is adult so there is no reason to EVER have fillers for it. Shonens do it because children are impatient and that is their demographic.
I would prefer a redone anime from the start to let's say "the hawk of the millenium empire arc" or or even to the "Fantasia Arc" :p that's likely to be a dream but these news made my day. Anything they do is great, as long as it's well made!Quote:

i also want to see re-animation of the first few volumes, probably. Like, remastered versions, or completely different version of the same arc.
There's a possibility it will be a sequel to the first season though.
I don't believe there'll be fillers. There's enough material to work on.
The first season is a little different from manga, but it can be continued if they wisely introduce things that were missed.
