The Zetsu Mega Convo Thread

This is something that's bothered me for a while. When Tobi is first introduced (when he and Zetsu are searching for Sasori's ring), Zetsu treats Tobi as a subordinate. Tobi wants a position in Akatsuki, and Zetsu argues with himself over the possibility. This conversation, to me, seems to be legitimate, with Zetsu knowing Tobi only as Tobi and not as Madara. However, the next significant time the two characters are shown to interact (when the duo encounters Konoha's 8-Man-Squad), the roles seem to be reversed. Madara (Tobi) now treats Zetsu as the subordinate, and Zetsu is obviously aware of Madara's identity as Akatsuki's leader. So my problem is, what changed and when did Zetsu learn of Tobi's true identity? The only possibility that I can think of is that Zetsu found out off-screen, but this seems like an odd thing for Kishimoto to leave out...

Zetsu could be the reason the Hyuuga clan created the cursed seal.

You mean if a hyuuga gets absolute freedom or is affected by hwtaever thingy they become plants , half-black with double character.
Its true that Zetsu has used whatever eye technique once but to believe that he was a hyuuga ....then it must be obvious who is going to fight him..

No, I don't mean that he was once Hyuuga.
I meant that he could have been the first shinobi to try and steal the
Byakugan eyes and it's secrets from a Hyuuga member; resulting
in whatever eyes Zetsu have now and the incorporation of the
cursed seal in the Hyuuga family.

But this was just my imagination straying away a bit, I don't actually
believe my mini theory.

ZETSU actually know who is tobi from early but he didnt tell anyone in akatsuki....
he looks cool when he heard the conversation among itachi and sasuke that proofing he knows about madara is..only kisame didnt know untill he have been told..
zetsu also playing important roll in akatsuki as spy and looks like kishi made zetsu with unique n mystery character..we knows that he is the old member of akatsuki cause he exist in kabuto's book...and then i opinion that the stronger in akatsuki is madara,pain,n zetsu..zetsu never die he have mystery eyes...

Zetsu is actually just like tobi an ancient warrior(ninja)who faught and break off his original country he founded the XXXX village...
He got to meet with tobi and establish akatsuki together that 's why his black part speaks Wrathfully with Tobi /madara because he's of the same standard.

Zetsu is a missing-nin from the rock village.

Zetsu's final ambition is to finally eat Kabuchimaru... his sound ninja counterpart.

There sure is a lot of mystery surrounding zetsu, even more so than madara. Perhaps zetxu is a spy for J-man, or at least half of him is the spy.

As for the byakugan thing, i don't think so but I really do hope we have more development on it

Maybe only Zetsu's black half knew Madara's plan, and it wasn't until after the fight the the white half got filled in. Seeing as how the black half is so much more knowledgeable than the white, this might be the case; he also knows more about Madara from the sound of things.

He's totally up to something.

i think zetsu black and zetsu white have two completely different motives. I actually think zetsu could be J-man's source, or at least half of him

Zetsu will be very very strong if I'm right...

Zetsu greatest power is that he absorbed everyone power (and maybe Jutsu) if he eats them.

What if, he ate everyone that died and absorbed their power?
Zetsu would be a freaking beast!!!

And considering that he's the only one left (with Madara and Kisame), I think he needs to be very strong, and my theory would provide a good reason for him to be that strong.

i think he absorbed the abilities of his food too lol. If thats the case then he gonna have a shit load of jutsus.
