About 474: only worth watching were the few minutes before the end. The rest was pretty much a stretch thus annoying. I mostly skipped the episode though.

i agree for the most part 75% of the episode was just procrastination BUT the other 25% was really good, i especially loved when luffy is facing off with the admirals, im glad they decided to reuse the music from strong world too, especially for that clip, i really loved it :).Quote:

Not just that. Stretching out a 15-page chapter, specifically one like this where a lot going on at once and not a lot of dialogue, to an 18-minute episode is a sacrifice in itself.Quote:

Sure the filler does help explain things and "patches" up the holes left by Oda in the manga, but I do not approve of Toei making Luffy into an utter weakling in this case.
Luffy nearly dies (if it weren't for Jinbei, he probably would have. Nobody else on the battlefield would have saved his ass, either because they themselves are DF-users or they are too distracted atm).
This isn't a *bad* thing, but I do wish that the anime steps it up a notch if it wants to live up to the expectations from the manga.

That was a really awesome episode.
The pace felt just right and the part where they included Mr 3 I felt that it actually improved upon the manga.
Interesting animation of whitebeard's earthquake cleave. Also interesting how the anime makes it seem like Aokiji attacked Luffy to keep Akainu from killing him.
Akinau looks like Cotton Hill. HAHAHHA
I could have sworn this was the episode when Luffy did COC thing, but I guess not.

Luffy looks good in this episode, the angles in his face are rounded and he doesn't looks like... I don't know what... just watch the recap from this chapter, when he is hanging in the wall and then the siege goes up. His face is all messed up. In this episode that doesn't happen.

I liked the episode. The quality was great and I even liked the filler parts. It was good to see Rokushiki in action again.

nice episode, Marco and crocodile owned this episode, i really liked to see marco flying with those blue wing. damn im a fan of his DF.Crocodile entrance was really something, 100% badass.And yeah luffy was cool also.like someone said before its look like Aokiji wanted to save him.
That episode gave me also an idea of Doflamingo's DF, i think he use invisible wire to manipulate people like puppet or to cut everything (he moved his hands before attacking crocodile, like he was manipulating wire).
Wonder why they never shown any of the ship fights between the marines and the neworld pirates? Would think they could have made a lot of good filler content from other things in the war, and HEY! we finally get an explanation from how the hell mr.3 got on that platform.
Ugggh they messed up so many scenes, I don't know why they chose to go so over the top on crocodile's moment in the same way whitebeard was stabbed. MARCO even hinted he would have don't something him self so why was he so shocked!!!!!!
