Strays is a little busy at the moment with reallife, as far as I know. So, all we can do is wait.
If you don't have anything Jackals-related to discuss (which is indeed hard without a release, I have to admit :p ), then just let it be and enjoy other manga for the time being, ok? :)
Actually...all we're missing is translations. The thing itself is basically ready to go.
A really good 4 chapters. I'm disappointed there hasn't been anymore releases in a while.
This manga sure does look like it has a lot of potential.

Yes, we do have raws courtesy of Ggpx who kindly scanned them for us. I know of no other source other than buying the tanks and scanning them.Quote:

In anyhoo, chapter 5 is out by now and 6 is close to completion. Next to Red Eyes, this might be the coolest thing I've ever read.

I agree with you LoktarOgar, it's a great serie. However, although I really enjoy it, I would like the author to work on the second part of Chunchu (my favourite serie) rather than on Jackals, or work on both if it's possible (I know I'm difficult to satisfy).
To scanlating team: Thanks so much for introducing and scalanting Jackals.
On Jackals: Imo the story got a cool opening: all the killing scenes in Italy at night reminded me of old time London scent and Jack The Ripper, but my interest's made lost after chapter 4 and on... I think the artwork of this manga is so awesome that I hope there's more depth to the fighting scenes (aside from general sharp-weapons battling seen basic in other series) and the storyline than from what the 9 chapters (which's already passed a volume amount) have showed.
The cool artwork's my only grab with this manga atm.
Story gets a little better as the volumes go by, but yeah. For now the gritty art and nice fighting is good enough to keep reading.
Hm, just saw that Jackals has ended with the last issue (Young Gangan #18)? ._.
Sounds a little early to me but well, I only know v01. As long as it's finished in a satisfying way. Now let's hope for the author going back to Chunchu :shakefist

Well, I don't know what to think.
A part of me really like Jackals despite the fact that it looks perhaps too much like Chunchu. The characters have awesome weapons, the battles are cool. Great work.
Chunchu... Chunchu is simply my favourite work. Even when compared to mangas I enjoy, Chunchu is my favourite.
Some time ago, when the author ended the first part, a website collected letters from French fans and sent it to the author who said he was really motivated to continue Chunchu after being done with his other works... and I really want to see the second part of Chunchu.
So I would like to see more of Jackals but also more of Chunchu.
Anyway, if Chunchu really continues then I hope some questions will be answered because although I like mysteries, having too many questions unanswered eventually becoming boring.
I want Chunchu to kick ass ! (and Shinji too if possible)
