I think Yaozou (Renzou's father) will take over as Head Priest for a while since Bon is way too young and still learning. But I think satan-kun will be right - in a later confrontation with Toudou (definitely not this arc, since he's run off), Bon could take back Karura. However, what secret does Bon have to trade for the contract? He's a total bigmouth! XD
Rin might end up getting support from Bon and Shiemi as they rush out to deal with the Impure King. The thing he most needs now is for the people around him to be comfortable with him as he is instead of freaking out - unless we see an uncharacteristic turnabout, that's not likely.
So can Rin not physically draw Kurikara or is it that he won't?

Actually, I don't think he will, seeing that Karura has been devoured by Toudou... (But then again, Toudou said that Karura didn't seem to sit well in his stomach and was putting up a good fight, so there is still a chance that Karura will appear again...)Quote:

Psychologically, Rin is afraid, so whatever he does (use all his might), he just can't get Kurikara to budge. Despite his determination to help Tatsuma, there's still that psychological barrier preventing him from unsheathing Kurikara. I think earthy's right and that he'll need some support and encouragement from his friends (haha, typical shounen manga :XD) before he can do it.
Also, I think there is a high chance that when Toudou is defeated (assuming he is), Karura will be released again. Whether or not Bon is able to convince it to make a contract with him is a different story though. But maybe Tatsuma can talk to Karura again, though it would be pretty tough since they have nothing to wager with. Karura asked to be kept a secret, but the cat's been let out of the bag and practically everyone will know about the existence of Karura and its once-close ties with the head priests of MD because of what Toudou has done.

From what I got from babelfish, Shiemi, Bon, Shima, and Blacky are going to try to rescue Rin because the latter is going to be executed.
^I was right :o wait no... we were right =] oh well we all saw it coming but i'm pretty sure the author has a twist in serve for us on how they will all make piece with Rin (the remaining cuz shima is just too awesome and already did that :super). Sheimi and Rin's scene though i suspect will be epic cuz they seemed to be in the most discomfort (on her part for not being trustworthy enough) you got to give it to her she's a good kid ^^

I agree. Of course, he will get a pep talk from them, which will boost up his confidence again. I can imagine Bon saying something like how can Rin defeat Satan with that attitude and since Rin is acting that way, he'll beat Satan instead, etc.
If Rin and his friends were able to defeat the Impure King, I'm sure the Vatican will decide to not execute him then. ^^

Rin's friends don't want him dead, how sweet of them. Especially Bon, who did everything to made Rin angry in the first place when Rin tried to gently calm him down and save his family. Pfft. Besides, since when does Rin need others to snap him out of depression? It's usually the other way round. I hope he will say he can't get himself executed after Shirou gave his life to protect him and go kill the Impure king and save himself.
