Set in a fictional universe in which alchemy is one of the most advanced scientific techniques known to man, the story follows the brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, who want to restore their bodies after a disastrous failed attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy.
They are striving to find the legendary Philosopher's Stone so that they may recover parts of their bodies that they lost in an attempt to bring their mother back to life. Therefore, Edward joins the state military and discovers that several members of the military are also attempting to get the stone and using it to destroy humanity and control the world. Many dark secrets are revealed which are of a matter to concern to both brothers and the nation.

I support Monster.

It is just phenomenal on every aspect, and holds the top place of my all-time favorite mangas. It is an unbelievably well built story. The feeling, character developement, scale, themes, suspense. Everything works.

I nominate Dragon Ball for the Best Competed Manga.

of course I nominate DRAGON BALL,the God of the manga.
and this is really a Manga where noone needs explanations,nor reasons.
