And i may add that i am happy to hear about OVA 6 being about Shiraishi and Akaya. I really wanna see that match animated.
And i'm expecting a nice DVD cover with them only. :nod

Yeah I noticed the Ootori, Marui, Jirou and Yushi photo.
Does this mean we are going to see them actually playing tennis for at least 2mins each?

I'm so grateful. This company doesn't show much actual tennis in the episodes.
really hope we see a lot of tennis since I've missed Jirou and Yushi's tennis styles a lot.

This is amazing, I hope they show them playing as Jirou, Ootori and Yuushi need some screentime.

I'm really more excited for the 6th OVA that will be out in February, about Shiraishi and Kirihara. Leaves me curious about what the last OVA will be (when calculated together, that the 7th one will be the last OVA.) I still hope for a Prince of Pillow Fight OVA as the last one. Then introducing us to a new NPoT season.

Don't you feel there is little point in us getting it so soon if we have no idea when the new series will start?

I'd much have rathered fan service in the form of the Winners doing their shuffles until they reach 5th & 6th Court with at least 4 OVA's on it, if they are going to do a half-assed lack of actual tennis job on Kirihara/Shiraishi VS Miyako/Matsudaira something we hoped was going to appear in the main series.
Let's face it, they skipped Nakagauchi VS Krauser and Tezuka VS Yamato was all talk up until TnK.
They sacrificed the Winners entirely for extra mountain training. NPoT didn't get off to such a great start.
I see people rating it 30-50% on places online.

NPoT OVA1 had a pointless but reasonably enjoyable Ryoma meets Ryoga scene in NY.
NPoT 2, was a bad job on Yuki/Sanada for both players.
NPoT 3 was nice to see. Shitenhouji VS Rikkai last year. They took risks in contradicting canon by having Marui, Jackal, Kirihara + 3seniors +Niou, Yagyuu along with the big 3. Didn't know a team could have so many regulars.

NPoT 4 is such unnecessary fan service. Especially after we already have Prince of Pillowfighting to get to. I guess I don't mind it since the trailer looks fun.

Looking at this, you think we will get a good match? I hope so.

Sorry to bring the morale down everyone but we'd better expect little and get an awesome match. That's what I'm doing.

NPoT 5 looks great. How I've missed the forgotten bros.

Considering the eps are 19 mins long, minus 3 mins for Opening and Ending,
We get 16 mins. The match will be 4mins max.
It's all about D2.

OVA 5 will be completely centered on an Ootori Singles match.
That's a first in the series we'll see him knuckle down in Singles. Looking forward to both OVA 5 & 6.
So far I've liked OVA 1, 3, and I'm guessing 5 & 6 I'll like too. 4/6 is good.
