Is Grimmjow dead or alive?
Is Grimmjow dead or alive?
He's alive but yet to be seen in the new arc. (source)
Or directly from Repeat & Reboot before Kubo started with the new arc:
So yes, he's alive, but what he's doing will stay a secret until a revelation in the manga.Quote:
Kubo-sensei confesses! The Arrancar are also in his plans!!
Q: In the new arc, the shinigami will of course be represented, but will other characters from the past also appear?
Kubo: Yes, if the arrancar appear, I think they will stand with the shinigami.
Q: Will there be characters that appear in the role of a friend?
Kubo: Ulquiorra has already turned into ash. Grimmjow might become a friend. Also, what about Harribel, who is still alive? But, I wonder how I’d bring them out of Hueco Mundo. I think Harribel would not leave Hueco Mundo.
Q: Was the idea of arrancars becoming friends in your plans before this break? Or was it just a feeling that they might return?
Kubo: “They might appear.” Or it could be that “they might not appear.” (laughs) Even if they did appear, it wouldn’t be individually, but as a group.
Q: What about Nel?
Kubo: I think I will let Nel appear.
grimmjow must be alive, since his death hasn't been confirmed and rather it was denied. I hope he has trained enough to surpass even harribel, becoming so the new king of HM.
I'm sure that there is a rebel army ready to take back Hueco Mondo or something like that and Grimmjow is the boss there!
Or something like that! :tem
In any case, we are going to see him again for sure!
He is alive, he just hasn't appeared yet. I know that Ichigo didn't kill him when they fought against each other during their fight in the Hueco mundo arc
I don't think Kubo would pass on the opportunity to please all the fans that looooove Grimm, when it seems the arc still isn't viewed very well (in Japan, judging the rankings) :XD I hope he appears soon, but who knows... it's either now, when Ichigo leaves HM for SS - or a long while later..
Seeing as Ishida isn't making an appearance until later, maybe Grimjow won't either.
It kinda feels like this war on Soul Society is only the foundation of the new arc, and that key players like Ishida and Grimjow etc. won't appear (show new skills), until towards the end of the arc / Bleach.
Just a hunch though, but it feels that way.
Now off for the surprises, maybe something unexpected happens tomorrow :3
I don't see GJ having any significant role in the series. Unless, he gets some power-up, he cannot be of any use. We saw what happened to Espada 3.
He could be the leader of Arrancars that side with shinigami.
He's Ichigo's rival.
He's bound to come back stronger, not only in power but in character as well. And he'll be stronger in power after losing to Ichigo and being humiliated by Nnoitra.
Wouldn't make him the most important character ever, but still enough.
And oh of course I forgot. He's one of the absolute fan favorite :lmao
And well, it was BB that captured Harribel most likely, that doesn't mean she wouldn't be able to stand up to other Star Knights.
A lot depends on whether Resurrection can be stolen too. If it can't, then Arrancars > Shinigami.
Well, Resurrecion can't be stolen per se, but I think if it's a Hollow, then reishi enslavement would work on an Arrancar just like it did on Ayon.
Isn't resurrecion just their transformation to their true form? It's not some other spirit they summon, I always thought it was a part of themself that is being held in the sword. Also, everything in SS and HM is made out of spirit particles, even Shinigami.
Grimmjow is most probably back in chapter 500- thats my bet but we will see confirmation in few chapters
I'm wondering about this for a while now. Is it possible for Menos to continue evolving even after being Shinigamified? If so, then I would certainly not be surprised to see Grimmie as a just evolved Vasto Lorde when he returns. It has been his lifelong goal. And if he returns as a Vasto, he will definitely take the crown.
