Maybe it is a will of fire symbol, though there are differences. If it is, then Mifune has to be placed elswhere. But I don't think Hashirama will be there. The one factor arguing against that is that Tsunade, as the FIFTH hokage, has four spaces before her. In past games the hokage were placed against each other. So these four spaces are too perfectly placed. The previous hokage fit perfectly. If we remove Hashirama from there, we suddenly have an odd space to fill. Who could possibly fit there messing up the order of hokage?
But if the symbol is the will of fire, then what might that mean? When placed alongside the Sharingan, it is a meaningful contrast, and that would indeed suggest a "rivalling" pair of some sorts. Placed roughly in the middle of the roster, possibly hinting significance. If so, they might represent the Will of Fire and True Despair respectively, and if so, contain Naruto (tailed beast mode) and Sasuke (EMS) since they are the ultimate versions of the two most important characters in the story.
But about the Sharingan symbol. It's placed alongside the spaces which absolutely, positively, undoubtedly hold the jinchuriki. So the Sharingan symbol might represent a variety of Rinne Tobi.
These two are difficult, indeed.

I can't really disagree that it could be something else, and I actually had thought of that statue too, my reason for thinking it's an important Konoha symbol is because it's in quite a few places, for example the symbol is in that statue and it's also I believe part of the ANBU symbol (Though that's still different) So it could very well be TB Naruto and EMS Sasuke, but who knows, we'll find out soon enough.

It and the Sharingan next to it to me just imply those two characters are important, regardless of who it might be.

You won't get the costumes with the collectors edition. You can only get that from certain stores. In Norway there's only one web store that has the costumes for sale. Maybe only gamestop will have the costumes in the U.S. for example.
I don't know if you can buy the costumes from the xbox live marketplace or PSN store later.

well day 1 edition it is then ^^'

Wonder what the american costumes will be. It seems to be 3 costumes per region.

By the looks of it one will be for Hinata for sure. The other two can be for anybody. I'm personally hoping for an Anbu Itachi or Akatsuki Orochimaru.

Sweet. That's not a bad haul for EU costumes overall.

These costumes won't stay exclusive for long either, it's almost guaranteed they will make it onto PSN/XBM. Of the JAP costumes, I'd only want ANBU Kakashi anyway. Lets see if US gets anything!

The demo will be released on February 19, 2013 in Japan, those with a Japanese PSN account can also download it of course. The demo will consist of the Third Hokage vs Nine Tailed Fox giant boss battle and Minato vs Masked Man story mode battle. This demo was showcased at various events already, including the 2012 Comic Con and Japan Expo.

Lol called it! Too bad it's not for my region. So looks like 5 costumes per region I had it wrong.
Costumes I want for stateside
1. Jounin Sannin
2. Akatsuki Oro
3. Anbu Kisame
4. Anbu Yamato
5. Konan without cloak

What they will most likely be:
- *Insert fanservice outfit* Hinata/Mizukage
- Pajama Naruto (again)
- Naruto in Gai's tights (again)
- Completely irrelevant costume that no one cares for (Kimono Sasuke)

Kimono Sasuke actually looks pretty cool. I'd take him over Swimsuit Sakura any day.
